Celtics will start Smart, Brown, Tatum, Horford and Robert Williams on Sunday. This is as expected.
As reported by: Boston CelticsOtto Porter Jr. (foot) available Sunday
Otto Porter Jr. (foot) will be available Sunday after once again being listed on the injury report due to a foot injury. Porter played 24 minutes off the bench last game and should be in line for a similar workload tonight. He will be worth consideration in DFS contests tonight as a mid range option with guaranteed minutes.
As reported by: Official NBA Injury ReportGary Payton II (elbow) available Sunday and expected to be part of the rotation
Gary Payton II (elbow) available Sunday and expected to be part of the rotation as stated by HC Steve Kerr. Kerr said that Payton was only available in select defensive circumstances for last game but has looked better the last few days. He went on to say he anticipates him seeing minutes tonight but failed to divulge how big of a role he is expected to play. The Warriors rotation has been all over the place outside of the top 6-7 players so it will be interesting to see where Payton fits in tonight. Payton is only 2.7k on DK so he might be worth a few dart throws tonight as a salary saver.
As reported by: Anthony SlaterRobert Williams (knee) available Sunday; expected to be limited to 20-25 minutes per HC Ime Udoka
As expected, Robert Williams (knee) will be available Sunday and should see his usual workload. Williams started and played 24 minutes in Game 1 and will likely once again be around this number tonight. Williams has played a critical role for the Celtics as their big man and continues to work his way back into shape after missing games earlier in the playoffs due to a knee injury. Williams is worth consideration in DFS contests but does come with an expected minutes limit.
As reported by: Tomer AzarlyAndre Iguodala (knee) out Sunday
Andre Iguodala (knee) will be out Sunday for Game 2 against the Boston Celtics. Iguodala returned last game for his first action in 5 weeks but is now dealing with knee inflammation. Iguodala saw 12 minutes of action off the bench and these minutes could now shift to players like Jordan Poole, Gary Payton II, Moses Moody, or Nemanja Bjelica. So far it has been difficult to predict Steve Kerr’s rotations in the playoffs and this could once again be the case tonight as the Warriors look to even up the series at one game each.
As reported by: Official NBA Injury ReportRobert Williams (knee) questionable for Sunday
Robert Williams (knee) is questionable for Game 2 Sunday against the Golden State Warriors. Williams is still dealing with his knee injury that caused him to miss games earlier in the playoffs, though recently he has been able to play through the injury. He will likely remain in the starting lineup albeit on some sort of minutes limitation. Last game he was able to log 24 minutes so expect him to be right around there again for Game 2.
As reported by: Boston CelticsAndre Iguodala (neck), Gary Payton II (elbow), and Otto Porter Jr. (foot) all listed questionable for Sunday
Andre Iguodala (neck), Gary Payton II (elbow), and Otto Porter Jr. (foot) are all listed questionable for Game 2 Sunday. All players were available for Game 1 and didn’t seem to suffer any setbacks. Porter saw 24 minutes of action and continues to be a key piece for the Warriors off the bench. Iguodala surprisingly played 12 minutes off the bench for the Warriors after missing the last 5 weeks. It will be interesting to see if he continues to play as large of a role for Golden State as the series progresses. Steve Kerr stated earlier today that while Payton was active for Game 1 he wasn’t ready to play real minutes, he expects this to be different in Game 2 and we could see Payton rejoin the rotation.

Update: Gary Payton II (elbow) may not jump right back into rotation despite being available on Thursday, per beat writer Anthony Slater. This is something we’ll need to monitor as it sounds like Payton may not see his usual minutes or role in Game 1 as he continues to get healthy.
