Lineup update: Hawks will start Young, Bogdanovic, Huerter, Collins, and Capela Monday

The Hawks will be changing up their lineup, as they elect to start Kevin Huerter over Solomon Hill for game 4. Hill had been starting but playing very spotty minutes, so this is not totally unexpected. Huerter will now get a few more minutes as a result, while Hill and Snell will compete for backup wing minutes, with neither being likely to get many.

Mike Conley (hamstring) ruled out Monday

Conley is not quite ready to return from his hamstring injury as the Jazz prepare to play game 4 against the LA Clippers. It should be more of the same for the Jazz; Joe Ingles in the starting lineup, Jordan Clarkson playing heavy run off the bench, and Miye Oni playin a few minutes in the rotation. Oni’s box score will show an uptick from last game, but he played the last four minutes in a blowout with other reserves. As we’ve seen all year, there aren’t major bumps to anyone, but Donovan Mitchell and Bojan Bogdanovic will show more usage, while Clarkson benefits from the minutes.

Lineup Update: Nuggets will start Morris, Barton, Gordon, Porter Jr., Jokic on Sunday

Lineup Note: Monte Morris, Will Barton will start ahead of Facundo Campazzo, Austin Rivers on Sunday

Coach Malone has decided to make a change to the starting lineup on Sunday and will start Monte Morris and Will Barton over Facundo Campazzo and Austin Rivers. Monte Morris and Will Barton are both likely to see more minutes now that they are running with the starting five after both seeing at least 28 minutes last game of the bench. This will obviously hurt the value of both Campazzo and Rivers as they will not be expected to see the upper 20s minutes they have been averaging so far this series. Barton and Morris both become rather intriguing plays in the 5K range on DK with the upside of possibly seeing 30 minutes or more now that they have joined the starting unit. The Denver offense will be run through Nikola Jokic, Michael Porter Jr., and Aaron Gordon as the Nuggets look to avoid elimination tonight.

The starting five will remain the same for the Nets despite the availability of Jeff Green. Blake Griffin will continue to start at center but his upside will be hurt with Green back, though Green will be on a minutes restriction.

Jeff Green available to play Sunday

Jeff Green will be available Sunday for Game 4 against the Milwaukee Bucks. Green has not played since May 28 when he injured his foot so he will be on some sort of minutes restriction, though we were not made aware of what exactly this restriction would be. His return should cut into the minutes of Blake Griffin, Bruce Brown, and Nicolas Claxton, limiting the possible upside of these players. The Brooklyn offense should continue to be run through Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant for as long as James Harden remains sidelined as the Nets look to take a 3-1 series lead.

Status Update: Jeff Green (foot) a game-time decision Sunday

Jeff Green will be a game-time decision Sunday for the Nets. Green has not played since May 28 in Game 2 of the series with the Boston Celtics when he injured his foot so even if he was able to suit up today he will likely be on some sort of minutes restriction. His possible return would cut into the minutes of Blake Griffin and Nicolas Claxton, limiting the possible upside of both players. The Brooklyn offense should continue to be run through Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant for as long as James Harden remains sidelined as the Nets look to take a 3-1 series lead

The Bucks will continue to run with the same starting five as they have been for the entirety of the series with the hopes that PJ Tucker can slow down Kevin Durant as he did in Game 3. This will mean Pat Connaughton and Bryn Forbes (potential starters while Donte DiVincenzo is out for the rest of the season) will come off the bench and have their upside limited. The Bucks offense should be run through Giannis, Khris Middleton, and Jrue Holiday as the Bucks look to even up the series at two games apiece.

Lineup Update: Jazz will start Mitchell, Ingles, Bogdanovic, O’Neale, Gobert on Saturday

The Clippers will go back to running their small lineup again substituting Nicolas Batum in for Ivica Zubac. Batum becomes a much stronger play with an upside of seeing over 30 minutes while Zubac loses much of his appeal and will likely see less than the 20 minutes or so he enjoys as a starter. The Clippers offense should be run through Kawhi Leonard and Paul George as Los Angeles looks to avoid going down 3-0 in the series.

Mike Conley (hamstring) ruled out Saturday

Mike Conley will not be available Saturday for Game 3 against the Los Angeles Clippers. Joe Ingles will likely remain in the starting lineup with he and Jordan Clarkson continuing to pick up the majority of minutes vacated by Conley (Ingles has averaged 32.5 minutes in the first two games, and Clarkson has averaged 27.5) while Miye Oni will pick up whatever is left (5 minutes last game and 8 minutes Tuesday). With Conley off the floor CourtIQ shows us that the biggest benefactors from an FPM perspective are Bojan Bogdanovic (.05) and Joe Ingles (.04) making them stronger options on today’s slate. Most of Utah’s production should continue to come from Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, and Bogdanovic.

Lineup Update: Nuggets will start Campazzo, Rivers, Gordon, Porter Jr., Jokic on Friday

Michael Porter Jr. (back) will be available and start Friday

As expected, Michael Porter Jr. Will be available Wednesday for Game 3 of the Nuggets series with the Phoenix Suns. Porter has been dealing with a back issue and was listed as probable on yesterday’s injury report but will be able to suit up and start should see his normal heavy workload (31 minutes in Game 2 before he was subbed out for garbage time). If Porter were to be limited (though there has been no indication of this) the rest of the Nuggets starters could play bigger roles. The Denver offense should continue to be run through Nikola Jokic, Porter Jr., and Gordon as the Nuggets look to avoid a 3-0 deficit in the series.

Status Note: Will Barton will remain on a minutes limit Friday

Coach Malone stated that Will Barton will remain on a minutes limit Friday similar to the one on Wednesday which we were told was 12-18 minutes. He ended up playing 16 minutes and Coach Malone hinted that Barton will possibly play more tonight so the upper end of his 18 minute restriction appears likely.
