Jahlil Okafor will be on a 20-24 minute restriction tonight
As expected, Jahlil Okafor will be back for tonight’s contest against the Charlotte Hornets after being held out last night. He will be coming off the bench and be on a minute restriction of 20-24 minutes. With Joel Embiid sidelined tonight, Okafor should see a heavy usage while he is on the floor but the minutes cap limits his upside.

Reminder for DK players: Ersan Ilyasova will NOT accrue points on DK tonight; he is playable on FanDuel
With the news that Ersan Ilyasova could end up seeing ‘substantial’ minutes in his Sixers debut, we wanted to remind those of you playing on DraftKings that since he’s listed as a member of the Thunder, he won’t accrue any fantasy points this evening. However, he is listed as a Sixer on FanDuel, so he is playable over there. This isn’t a direction you’re going to want to look in cash games, but there is GPP appeal here with Joel Embiid resting and Jahlil Okafor on a 20-minute limit. Ilyasova is one of just a few options on the Sixers side that can knock down the 3PT shot consistently, so his ability to stretch the floor at the PF spot should lend itself well playing alongside the other Philly bigs.
Avery Bradley (shoulder) listed as a game-time decision; expected to play
Bradley will be a game-time decision for tonight’s game against Chicago after missing the Celtics team practice on Tuesday with a sore shoulder. Marcus Smart is set to make his season debut this evening with no expected minute limitations, which creates a really murky situation in the Celtics backcourt whether Bradley is able to suit up or not. We should expect Smart to cut into the minutes of Terry Rozier and will want to see how this rotation works itself out before firing up any Celtics’ guards other than Isaiah Thomas.

Dante Cunningham (hip) listed as probable for tonight
Dante Cunningham started in place of Omer Asik but was slightly injured. He is expected to play tonight but has not been confirmed at this time. With the Grizzlies expected to start Marc Gasol tonight, it would not be surprising if Omer Asik started and Cunningham came off the bench.

Newly acquired forward Ersan Ilyasova is expected to play a lot tonight for the Sixers. Since they played last night, this makes a ton of sense. Ilyasova has averaged 24 MPG in his career while scoring 10 points and 6 rebounds. He’s a professional charge taker and has the range to hit the three-ball. He is only playable on FanDuel because DraftKings has noted that both players in this deal (Grant & Ilyasova) will not accrue fantasy points tonight.

Jordan Farmar has signed with the Kings after he was released by them earlier in the preseason. He should be able to provide a spark off the bench and keep Lawson’s minutes under control. Lawson has played 35+ minutes in three out of the first five games for the Kings. Farmar’s first opportunity to take the court is tomorrow against the lowly Magic. Since he was signed after salaries were released, he is not available to use in DFS.

Mozgov was only seeing around 20 minutes a night when healthy, so this isn’t a huge bump for Black given that he’s still tremendously prone to foul trouble and shouldn’t be expected to clear 25 minutes of court time. Larry Nance and Thomas Robinson are also both candidates to receive increased court time in terms of bench players, with Nance being the far more likely of the two to make an impact tonight. Nance had far and away his most productive outing of the early season last night, posting 11 points, 5 boards and a whopping six steals in 29 minutes of floor time. Black does have some GPP appeal as a minimum price play, but he’s still very volatile.

Derrick Favors will remain in the starting lineup despite his minute totals remaining low through his first few games of 2016, but we should expect his minutes to trend upward slowly as he gets his legs under him. He’s been held to an average of just under 20 MPG and saw just 16 in last night’s victory over the Spurs, but that game wasn’t competitive late and the limited run should give Favors a nice shot at reaching 20-23 minutes tonight. Outside of Rudy Gobert, who remains one of the more appealing GPP plays at the center spot, the Jazz front-court is probably best left alone outside of potentially Trey Lyles, who was able to see 29 minutes of court time with Diaw out last night. If Favors’ minutes restriction is increased, bump Lyles down accordingly.

Booker missed the Suns’ game on Monday with a toe injury but stated it’s feeling much better and that he expects to play tonight against the Blazers. His price tag is a bit too high to justify rostering him in DFS but it is a game with the highest Vegas over/under and facing a Portland team that is bottom half of the league in DvP. There could be some opportunity for him to exceed expectations making him a viable GPP option.

Will Barton and Gary Harris both OUT for Nuggets on Thursday
The Nuggets have announced that Barton and Harris will both miss their game tomorrow against Minnesota. Jameer Nelson and Jamal Murray should benefit the most in terms of additional minutes.

A night after burning a number of people in DFS with late scratches for rest purposes for their starting guard and center, Memphis Head Coach David Fizdale stated it would be a “normal night” for the team. Neither is listed on the team injury report and will play tonight when they host the Pelicans. Gasol is particularly interesting as a play going against a New Orleans team that is 27th in center DvP.

Mozgov suffered a left eye contusion last night and is awaiting the results of a CT scan. He’ll miss tonight’s game against the Hawks meaning Thomas Robinson and Tarik Black should see a big uptick in minutes. Dwight Howard gets a huge boost in his match up and makes for one of the better plays at the center position tonight.

Horford took a hit to the head in practice and suffered a concussion – the team has announced that he will miss tonight’s game against the Bulls. Tyler Zeller and Jonas Jerebko should benefit the most for the Celtics going against a Bulls team that is middle of the pack (17th) in center DvP.

Hibbert will miss his second straight game with a sore right knee while Lamb continues to be unable to play. Cody Zeller, Frank Kaminsky and Spencer Hawes should get Hibbert’s minutes with Zeller and Kaminsky being the biggest beneficiaries – both are intriguing GPP options tonight going against a 76ers defense that struggles against opposing bigs.
