Amar'e Stoudemire expected to start for Hassan Whiteside on Wednesday
Stoudemire started Game 4 for Whiteside and is expected to start again in Game 5. Stoudemire only played 12 minutes but was able to return 5.2x on DraftKings. He is only a viable option on DK because his salary is $2,000. Both teams went to a small-ball lineup and are expected to do the same in Toronto, limiting Stoudemire’s upside. Josh McRoberts was used at center and played 20 minutes but only scored 10 fpts. Justise Winslow saw 31 minutes in Game 4 and led the reserves with 17 fpts. Winslow is a viable option as a second forward for Wednesday, with Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard the top options at SF for this slate.

Hassan Whiteside out for Wednesday's game
The Heat big man did not travel with the team and will not play on Wednesday. Amare Stoudemire will likely get the start with Udonis Haslem and Josh McRoberts also splitting time at the five. None are particularly attractive DFS options, even with the small playoff slates.

Moe Harkless (hip) confirmed as the starter on Monday
Harkless will remain in the starting lineup even though he is dealing with a hip injury. Harkless has not exceeded value in this series and is a low-end option on Monday. Gerald Henderson and Allen Crabbe are also boom-or-bust options with Harkless in the lineup. C.J. McCollum is the top value from play from the starters of the Blazers.

Curry will come off the bench on Monday while Shaun Livingston remains with the starting unit. This makes Curry a risky option and he could be limited in his return. Shaun Livingston will be a low-end option in the starting role. Expect Livingston to play 20-24 minutes with Curry likely picking up the rest.

Curry will be starting against the Blazers in Game 4. Curry carries immense upside for tournaments but still carries some risk for cash games. He is not a safe option that could be limited but has proven many times in the past that he can exceed value in limited minutes. Shaun Livingston will go back to the bench and is not a viable option with his salary so elevated.

Terry Stotts only answered one question with the press before the game. He said Harkless is available but did not confirm if he was in the starting lineup. We will continue to monitor this situation and provide updates as we receive them. Gerald Henderson started the second half of Game 3 instead Harkless. Harkless will likely be limited and should not be rostered. If Henderson continues to come off the bench, he will need to play over 24 minutes to exceed value.

The Raptors will start Biyombo with Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, DeMarre Carroll, and Patrick Patterson in Game 4. Biyombo should be a solid cash game play because he has averaged 27.40 fpts as a starter this season. Due to his punt level salary, expect Biyombo to be heavily owned in all league formats. DeRozan is dealing with a thumb injury and has seen his FG% steadily drop in every game this series. While he is still a viable option, DeRozan owners should understand the risk that comes with rostering him.

The Heat will start Stoudemire with Goran Dragic, Dwyane Wade, Joe Johnson, and Luol Deng. Expect Dragic to bounce back after his poor performance in Game 3. Dragic had 12.1 fpts in 29 minutes in that game, which could keep his ownership levels slightly lower. Dragic was averaging 33.4 fpts in the previous three playoff games prior to Saturday, so he deserves consideration in tournaments. Wade is still an elite option at SG but does not have a ton of upside with this salary so elevated.

Stoudemire is expected to start if the Raptors start Bismack Biyombo opposite of him. Stoudemire is expected to play 16-20 minutes in Game 4 and does not have a lot of upside. Still, Stoudemire is a viable punt option on DraftKings because his salary is only $2,000. He does not have to do much to exceed value and rostering him allows for a lot of flexibility on a short slate. We should have an official update soon with the Heat and Raptors playing in the first game of the night.

Curry will undergo treatment and consult with the team/doctors this afternoon before he is allowed to play tonight. Expect Curry’s minutes to be limited if he returns, which will likely minimize his upside in DFS. Expect Curry’s ownership percentage to also be low for this game and his return will impact the production of Shaun Livingston and Klay Thompson. Livingston becomes a risky play if Curry returns because his salary has spiked past punt levels. He is at a season-high $5,900 on DK and did not provide much upside even if Curry was to miss Game 4. Thompson did not exceed value on Saturday even though he scored 35 actual points. With his game so scoring dependent and his salary at $9k on DraftKings, Thompson is not the top option at SG today. C.J. McCollum provides more upside and allows greatly roster flexibility with his salary at $6,900 on DK and $7,100 on FD. Draymond Green’s production and ownership percentage will likely also dip if Curry returns and he does not have very much upside with his salary so inflated. Green should still be considered in tournaments because he has the ability to contribute across the board and can help differentiate with most people gravitating towards the value PFs today.

Harkless told the media that his hip feels better and that he’ll play tonight in Game 4 against the Warriors. Gerald Henderson and Allen Crabbe take a slight hit in value as they benefit most from his absence. Those three players are all risky options but in a two game slate, risks are what will win you a GPP so there’s merit in rostering all three in small shares if you are making multiple lineups. After performing well down the stretch, Harkless has struggled (he stated the hip has bothered him) in the playoffs and is the riskiest of the three.

The Heat have announced that their star big man will miss tonight’s playoff game against the Raptors. Udonis Haslem, Josh McRobers, and A’mare Stoudemire will likely split his minutes with Haslem being the better DFS option of the three. We’ll provide any updates we get on the Heat starting lineup when it comes in.

Gerald Henderson started the second half of Game 3 in place of Harkless but the Blazers are listing Harkless as probable for Game 4. Henderson played 23 minutes and is a viable option on Monday but does not have a ton of upside. Harkless is expected to start and we will have another update tomorrow before the game. Harkless has only exceeded value once in these playoffs, making him a very low-end option now that he is injured.

The Warriors are listing Curry as doubtful for Monday and Shaun Livingston will start in his place again if he does not play. Livingston only returned 4.5x on FanDuel but also only played 25 minutes on Saturday. While he was not a complete bust this will likely keep his salary at $4,800 for Monday, leaving him as a viable cash game play. Barbosa played 18 minutes on Saturday but this was the first time in all of the playoffs he played over 16 minutes in a game. Barbosa is a risky option coming off the bench but deserves tournament consideration because he will be low-owned. Draymond Green was the only Warriors’ player to exceed value in Game 3 and will remain an elite option for Game 4.
