Mejri is warming up with the team but there has been no official update yet. We will continue to monitor this situation and provide the information when we receive it.

Salah Mejri (hip) still wants to play Monday
Mejri told Head Coach Rick Carlisle that he wants to play in this game so they are discussing it with the trainer. We should have another update soon with the Mavs playing in the next game.

Mejri has been ruled out of Game 5 which could open up minutes for Dwight Powell tonight. Powell did not play in Game 4 and is a risky option but has very little downside with his salary at $2,000 on DraftKings. He played 20 minutes in Game 1 and had 17 DraftKings fpts. We should expect him to play 12-18 minutes with the Mavericks large underdogs in this game. Zaza Pachulia also gets a bump and could play 24-28 minutes if the Mavericks stay close in this game. The Mavericks only have 10 active players for this game so JaVale McGee is a viable GPP dart throw if you can stomach the risk.

It looks like Mejri will play in Game 5 even though he exited the fourth quarter of Game 4 with a hip injury. Mejri is a nice tournament option on DraftKings with his salary at $2,600. He is averaging 15.6 fpts in this series but only scored 4.5 fpts in Game 2. He is still a risky play with the Thunder favored by 14.5 points. With David Lee already out of the lineup, Mejri could see 20+ minutes if the Mavericks can keep it competitive. Mejri is averaging .70 FP/MIN in this series, which is strong enough to exceed value with his salary so low. Zaza Pachulia is expected to remain the starter in this game but the Mavs have made changes after lineups have locked in this series.

Mahinmi had his best performance of the season in Game 4 by scoring 22 points, grabbing 15 rebounds, handing out five assists, and recording two steals and a block. He had 48.5 DraftKings fpts in that game but is listed as questionable for Tuesday. We will likely not know his status until game-time but we should know before lineups lock because the Pacers play in the first game of the night.

Whiteside is not expected to be limited in Game 4 and he is just dealing with a pain-tolerance issue. He is expected to also remain the starter and should be a viable tournament option. The game is in Charlotte so there is a chance that Whiteside could get into foul trouble. Look for him to play 30+ minutes with the Hornets favored by two points tonight.

Whiteside is expected to play against the Hornets in Game 4. He is averaging 44.03 DraftKings fpts in this series and is the most expensive center on the slate today. Whiteside will need 50+ fpts to exceed value which is tough because he has had 5 fouls in the last two games. He should be a low-owned tournament play that has some upside if he can stay out of foul trouble. There are other centers on the slate that project to have more potential value than Whiteside which should keep his ownership down.

All three players were able to play on Sunday and are expected to play in Game 5 on Tuesday. Bazemore logged 40 minutes in Game 4 but only put up 4.2x on DK, which was acceptable cash games. If Bazemore plays over 34 minutes at home on Tuesday he should be able to exceed value. Bazemore is averaging 38.5 fpts in the other two games that he played 34+ minutes in this series. Horford had his best performance in Game 1 and should be a viable cash game play at home on Tuesday. Horford’s salary has come down $200 on DraftKings after hitting a season-high $8,000 on Sunday. Dennis Schroder is still a nice punt option because he does not have to do a ton to exceed value with his salary set at $2,800. Schroder is averaging 13.32 (.73 FP/MIN) DraftKings fpts in four games this series. He had his best performance (23.3 fpts) in Game 3 when he played over 22 minutes.

An MRI revealed that Curry has a Grade 1 MCL sprain and the team will re-evaluate him in two weeks. The Warriors erupted for 41 points in the third quarter without Curry in Game 4.They can close out the Rockets in Game 5 on Wednesday. Round 2 is not expected to start until this weekend. Shaun Livingston will rejoin the starting lineup and is a strong cash game play until his salary spikes over 6k. Andre Iguodala has really played well in this series and should also be used heavily until his price is greater than his production. Klay Thompson and Draymond Green will remain the high-end options with only three games on the slate for Wednesday.

Mejri is battling a hip injury and is considered a game-time decision for the Mavericks playoff game tonight. If he is unable to go, expect more minutes for Zaza Pachulia and an increased role off the bench for Dwight Powell and Charlie Villaneuva, especially with David Lee already ruled out. We’ll update you on Mejri’s status later today as soon as we learn more.

David Lee out for remainder of playoffs for Mavericks
After battling a foot injury for the first round of the playoffs, the Mavericks have announced that Lee will be out for the remainder of the playoffs. Lee hadn’t seen significant run in the postseason but his absence will open up a few minutes for Justin Anderson and Zaza Pachulia.

Whiteside was limited in the morning shoot around with a hip injury and is considered a game-time decision for tonight’s playoff game. This news has huge DFS implications as Whiteside is one of the elite center options and his sitting out would shift the ownership percentages significantly. A’Mare Stoudemire would receive a boost in value but his playing time has always been limited regardless of whether Whiteside plays or not. We’ll update you on any news regarding Whiteside as soon as we learn of it.

Batum had been upgraded to questionable prior to today but was unable to make it through the team shoot around and has been ruled out for tonight’s playoff game against the Heat. Jeremy Lin and Frank Kaminsky get the biggest boost from Batum sitting – Kaminsky got the start last game and put up a respectable 27.7 FanDuel fpts in 35 minutes of play. He’s a definite top value option tonight, especially if he gets another start.

Bullock was doubtful coming into the game and has been ruled out for Game 4. Bullock was not a viable DFS option even if he played and Stanley Johnson will likely pick up the extra minutes in the rotation. Johnson is a risky option but will need to play well if the Pistons don’t want to get swept.

Horford was expected to play and has been confirmed as the starter. Horford is at a season-high salary of $8,000 on DraftKings, limiting his upside. Horford will be a viable tournament option and is expected be low-owned with five games on the slate. Horford is averaging 45.53 DK fpts in this series and should be a strong cash game play as well.
