SFO QB Jimmy Garoppolo expected to start Sunday
Jimmy Garoppolo is expected to start Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. Garoppolo was able to practice this week and looked fine according to all accounts. He should draw the start for the 49ers in a must win game, though Trey Lance saw extra practice reps this week and will be ready to go if needed. With Garoppolo at the helm, all pass-catchers will see an uptick in expected production making Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, and Elijah Mitchell all slightly better plays.

DAL WR Simi Fehoko listed inactive Saturday
DAL WR Simi Fehoko has been listed inactive for Saturday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Even with the Cowboys expected to limit the workload of their starters, Fehoko will be a healthy scratch. The Cowboys will elect to run with CeeDee Lamb, Amari Cooper, Cedrick Wilson, Noah Brown, and Malik Turner as their active receivers.

Jalen Hurts officially inactive Saturday against the Dallas Cowboys. It seemed that this was the way things were trending after reports started to some out that the Eagles were planning on resting some of their starters. Gardner Minshew will get the start at quarterback and Reid Sinnett could even come in later in the game to see some snaps as well. This game is pretty much meaningless for both teams so don’t expect any starters to see considerable action.

Saunders, and Keith Kirkwood have been elevated from the practice squad ahead of Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Sullivan is expected to serve as tight end depth and Bonnafon is expected to serve as running back depth. Neither should be considered in DFS contests. Saunders and Kirkwood are expected to serve as receiver depth but could play a larger role if Robby Anderson is ruled out. Even in this scenario it is unlikely they see enough work to be DFS relevant.

Tavon Austin is now questionable for Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts. Nathan Cottrell and Josh Hammond have been elevated from the practice squad. If Austin were to be ruled out, Laquon Treadwell and Laviska Shenault could see a larger share of targets and become better plays. Cottrell is expected to serve as running back depth and is not expected to be DFS relevant behind Dare Ogunbowale and Ryquell Armstead. Hammond is expectd to serve as receiver depth and should not be considered in DFS contests.

Johnson is expected to continue to serve as receiver depth and should not be DFS relevant even on a showdown slate. Carrier is expected to serve as tight end depth behind Darren Waller and Foster Moreau Sunday night and will mostly be used as a blocker. Carrier will take the role of Helm who has been released.

PHI TE Richard Rodgers, TE Noah Togiai, and RB Jason Huntley elevated from practice squad for Saturday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. This will basically be a glorified preseason game so a bunch of reserve and practice squad players should see a decent amount of run. Rodgers and Togiai will mix in at tight end with Tyree Jackson available as well. Huntley will be the lone backup running back to Kenneth Gainwell so he should see a decent sized role as well.
