Pitchers
- Home Tommy Hanson is the huge favorite in this one which makes him a value play candidate. His production so far this year has been neither good nor bad and his K/9 ratio has been lower this year. I thin his upside is limited so I would rather gamble elsewhere. BAL is batting .259 on the road, .269 vs. right-handers, .286 in day games, and .246 over the last 7 days. In Play
- Away Freddy Garcia makes his season debut today for BAL. He has a solid career but had a pretty bad year last year. His K/9 totals have dwindled over the years. He very little upside and is the huge dog today. Avoid
Batters
- Home Mike Trout and Mark Trumbo have been carrying LAA lately producing 62 fp collectively. Trout is batting .341 in day games. I’m rolling one last time with Josh Hamilton today versus the right-hander.
- Away The BvP data is small but Adam Jones, Nick Markakis, and Matt Wieters have positive numbers. Nate McLouth has been hot producing 31.75 fp. Manny Machado has been hot also producing 28.75 fp. Nate Mclouth and Adam Jones are both batting over .400 in day games.

Pitchers
- Home How far has Yovani Gallardo fallen when he takes the mound at home as the underdog? He has given up at least 1 ER in all of his outings and his Ks have been down. He is averaging 3.8 Ks a start. He got hit thumped by this same STL team recently. He went 5.1 IP with 5 ERs and only 3 Ks. STL is batting .255 on the road, .256 in day games, .264 vs. right-handers, and .281 over the last 7 days. The BvPs favor STL. Avoid
- Away Adam Wainwright is been lights-out at home this year. He has been a little hittable on the road. MIL is a great home team so I am not sure he escapes without injury today and for his price you need a near perfect outing for him to meet his value. MIL is batting .276 at home, .237 in day games, .245 versus right-handers, and .286 over the last 7 days with 14 HRs. In Play
Batters
- Home Aramis Ramirez is back and he has crushed Wainwright in the past going 19-47 with 2 HRs. Carlos Gomez continues his hot streak producing 50.75 fp over the last week. He is batting .356 vs. right-handers and .344 in day games. Rickie Weeks has turn it on lately also producing 24.75
- Away Carlos Beltran is 6-15 with 1 HR vs. Gallardo. Matt Holliday is 7-24 with 3 HRs. Jon Jay and David Freese have solid BvPs also. Holliday and Beltran have been producing well over the last 7 days

Pitchers
- Home Jeff Locke is a sneaky good GPP play today. He does not get you the Ks you need but he has also not given up an ER in his past 2 starts. He draws a WAS team batting .221 on the road, .196 vs left-handers, .207 in day games and .204 over the last 7 days. The splits are really in his favor today vs. a cold team and Strasburg has been a hard luck pitcher this year, which is great if you are the pitcher going against him. In Play
- Away Stephen Strasburg is a decent sized favorite for todays game but I think for the purposes of daily fantasy he is too risky. He has pitched well all year but the forearm tightness that he experienced in his last start scares me in this one. WAS has lost 5 of the 6 starts he has made. He carries a high price tag so you need the win. PIT is batting .269 at home, .256 in day games, .252 vs. right-handers, and .268 over the last 7 games with 15 HRs. The splits favor PIT Avoid
Batters
- Home I am done talking about Pedro Alvarez day game HRs from a year ago. He has done nothing in day games all year so far. Your new day game stud from the Pirates is Russell Martin with a .318 average and 3 HRs in 22 AB. He is also there hottest player producing 32 fp over the last 7 days.
- Away There is no BvP data but the lefty has been tough this year and they have been cold. Bryce Harper is a .356 hitter in day games on the year but batting only .154 vs. Left-handers. Ian Desmond has the best splits today and he has been the WAS most productive player producing 20.5 fp.
