What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – SEA -130
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Hisashi Iwakuma is no Felix Hernandez but he has been awesome at home as well with a 2.57 ERA. He is having a fantastic year and gets the pleasure of facing Joe Blanton today. LAA is batting .253 on the road, .278 versus right-handers, and .286 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 8
- Away Joe Blanton has pitched well versus SEA on the year. They are one of the few teams that he has pitched well against. SEA is swinging the bat much better since the start of the season so I do not think that trend continues today. SEA is batting .255 at home, .247 versus right-handers, and .294 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
Batter Grind Down
- Home Kendrys Morales and Justin smoak have both been super hot producing over 30 fp in the last 7 days each. Raul Ibanez, Kyle Seager, and Michael Saunders have been hot as well. Seager is batting .318 versus right-handers. RG Stack Rating 6
- Away Mike Trout, Albert Pujols, and Josh Hamilton have been hot for LAA. Trout, Howie Kendrick, and Eric Aybar all have batting averages over .300 versus right-handers. Iwakuma has held LAA to .190 BAA so I am not excited about anyone else on their roster RG Stack Rating 3

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9
- Favored Team – ARI -160
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Ian Kennedy takes the mound as the decent sized favorite again today and I only wonder how much faith Vegas has left in him. He has been horrible on the year with a 5.31 ERA and his number seem to be getting worse, not better, as the season progresses. He catches an injured MIL team so that should help things. MIL is batting .248 on the road, .255 versus right-handers, and .233 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
- Away Wily Peralta has been a nice middle of the rotation player for MIL. He is slightly better on the road with a 4.37 ERA. His numbers are not world beaters and he does not get the kind of Ks you would like to see especially in a game in which he is the huge underdog. ARI is batting .249 at home, .256 versus right-handers, and .215 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
Batter Grind Down
- Home Paul Goldschmidt is hot with 24.5 fp over the last 7 days. Will Nieves, Gregorius, Endy Chavez, Paul Goldschmidt, and Parra are all batting over .300 versus right-handers. RG Stack Rating 5
- Away Jonathan Lucroy has been very hot with 30.5 fp over the past week. Jean Segura is batting .312 versus right-handers. RG Stack Rating 3

COL vs R | COL BvP | LAD vs R | LAD BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – LAD -137
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Ricky Nolasco 4.50 home ERA should start to take a dip down now that he plays his games in LAD. The only knock on the guy all year was that his team was not scoring him any runs. LAD is not a powerhouse but the have been hot and should get him run support today versus a struggling COL team. COL is batting .246 on the road, .269 versus right-handers, and .201 over the last 7 days RG Start-Ability 8
- Away I like taking COL pitcher outside of COL because they offer great value. Most of them are actually pretty good pitchers. Jhoulys Chacin road ERA is a very nice 1.96 and his K/9 jumps up over 8 on the road as well. If he can pitch close to what he did last time in SDG then he will be worth a look. LAD is batting .257 at home, .261 versus right-handers, and .262 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6
Batter Grind Down
- Home Hanley Ramirez, Adrian Gonzalez and Andre Either have all been hot for LAD. Ramirez, and Gonzalez are batting over .300 versus right-handers. LAD has a .338 BAA versus Chacin but how much of that is attributed to the Mile High air is not known. RG Stack Rating 3
- Away Troy Tulowitzki, Michael Cuddyer, and Jonathan Herrera are all batting over .300 versus right-handers. Tulowitzki is 6-12 versus Nolasco. Todd Helton is 6-15 versus him and Michael Cuddyer is 4-7 with 1 HR. RG Stack Rating 2

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – SDG -155
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home You can say what you want about Eric Stults but he is a lockdown pitcher at home where his ERA is a 2.56 and his BAA is .194. He draws a tough matchup today in SFO because they hit left-handers at a high clip. SFO is batting .259 on the road, .268 versus left-handers, and .275 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7
- Away If Tim Lincecum can throw a No hitter versus SDG then Barry Zito should be able to throw a perfect game. Just kidding. Zito has been awful on the road with a 9.38 ERA and I worry about him today going against an inspired team that just got embarrassed the night before. SDG is batting .233 at home, .250 versus left-handers, and .203 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
Batter Grind Down
- Home Chase Headley has been hot for SDG but I expect SDG offense to show up big today so consider everyone playable. RG Stack Rating 5
- Away Buster Posey, Pablo Sandoval, Brandon Belt, and Hunter Pence have all been hot for SFO. Posey, Scutaro, Pence, and Belt are all batting over .300 versus left-handers. SFO as a team has a .336 BAA versus Stults so there are positive BvPs to be had by everyone but Posey and Sandoval’s numbers seem to be the best.RG Stack Rating 4

STL vs L | STL BvP | CHC vs R | CHC BvP
- Over/Under Total Runs –
- Favored Team – STL -150
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Travis Wood is having an outstanding season. Both his road and his home ERAs are under 3. STL is a tough draw and he is going against one of the better pitchers in baseball but he is worth a shot in a GPP if he is cheap enough. STL is batting .270 on the road, .237 versus left-handers, and .261 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away Adam Wainwright is looking like a Cy Young candidate again. It does not matter where he pitches or whom he pitches against. The Cubs have been hot lately but their offense still leaves much to be desired. CHC is batting .254 at home, .246 versus right-handers, and .254 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 9
Batter Grind Down
- Home Alfonso Soriano has been super hot with 39.75 fp. Starlin Castro has been hot as well. David Dejesus is 9-23 with 2 HRs versus Wainwright. RG Stack Rating 1
- Away Matt Carpenter has been hot for STL with 27.5 fp. Matt Adams, Yadier Molina, and Allen Craig are all batting over .300 versus left-handers. Allen Craig is 5-16 with 2 HRs versus Wood. Yadier Molina is 7-20 with 2 HRs versus him as well. Jon Jay is 7-17 versus him also. RG Stack Rating 5
