For each segment, the Fantastic Four will include my top 4 pitchers for tournaments on FanDuel and DraftKings. They’ll sometimes include plays picking up ownership if I feel like the rostership still doesn’t reflect their upside. Typically, if there is a cash game lock and someone who is pushing 50% rostered, these pitchers won’t get mentioned. However, sometimes on smaller slates, four pitchers won’t be an option.
The Fantastic Four – Best MLB DFS Picks

The top pitchers on the board are obvious tonight, with Corbin Burnes leading the way for raw points, and Spencer Strider being the top option if requiring a discount. Both of these guys are in great spots and I can’t recommend the fade, and I think differentiating with bats will be the best strategy tonight. They will be a part of the Fantastic Four tonight despite how often they are being rostered by the field, and we will find two additional pitchers to add to the group for our lineups that have some chalkier bats.
Christian Javier 9700 FD / 8700 DK – On DK, Javier is priced down and won’t have a rostership discount, however, he also is far too cheap. Javier’s matchup against Boston looks worrisome in name, however, this lineup is watered down and not overly dangerous at the moment. Javier has disappointed in his last couple of outings, however, his strong strikeout abilities give him a ceiling that can match any other pitcher on the slate. Keep an eye on if Eric Hosmer and Tommy Pham are in the lineup, and Javier will become an even stronger play if they don’t yet make it.
Adam Wainwright 8500 FD / 7500 DK – Another player that is a strong tournament option on FD, while looking even stronger today on DK. The Cups lineup as over a 24% strikeout rate, and Wainright has some upside potential while not getting played by the field in nearly the same capacity as his counterparts in the article. Although Wainright’s personal strikeout ability isn’t the same as the others on the board, he has a high pitch count, strong matchup and should be able to put together something close to a ceiling game tonight.
Earth’s Mightiest MLB DFS Stacks For Today

Minnesota and the New York Mets look like the chalk on tonight’s large slate. Although these are strong options, we’re not looking at a Dodgers in Coors situation where the top options are miles ahead of the other teams available. Tonight, there are some strong under-owned options to pair with our chalkier pitchers.
Atlanta Braves – We have a bullpen game for the Phillies, so we’re not necessarily targeting specific bats tonight for the Braves. We’re betting on talent. Acuna has struggled recently and would be the first guy I’d look to leave out of my stack, however, I love the upside of Swanson, Riley, Olson and company tonight. Mark Appel is looking likely to be the long-man for the Phillies tonight, and his pedigree isn’t one I’m particularly worried about against a potent powerhouse like the Braves.
Milwaukee Brewers – The Brewers get a significant ball-park downgrade tonight, however, they also receive a matchup in Bryce Wilson, that looks incredibly enticing for their lefties. Christian Yelich and Rowdy Tellez are two of my favorite one-offs/mini-stack options on the slate, and the powerful bats like Renfroe and Adames make for excellent stack additions. Throw in cheapies like Kolten Wong and Tyrone Taylor, and you have the potential for a high-upside, inexpensive stack to pair with Burnes.
Texas Rangers – Jordan Lyles has always struggled giving up too many home runs, however this season playing in Baltimore, he has actually been decent pitching in his home ball park. Tonight he heads to texas, and they are probably my favorite tournament stack to take advantage of. Corey Seager is my favorite tournament hitter on the slate (Spidey Bomb anyone?) and the additional pieces of Lowe, Garcia and company make for a great full stack. Fire up the Rangers in tournaments and join me at the top of the leaderboard.
