What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9
- Favored Team – BOS -180
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home The last time Felix Doubront faced this NYY team he had a outing. That was before they acquired Alfonso Soriano and got Alex Rodriguez back from the DL. NYY has a much more balanced offense now. The high OU is enough for me to move elsewhere to look for a hurler. NYY is batting .235 on the road, .246 versus left-handers, and .309 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 4
- Away Andy Pettitte has been laboring through his starts lately. He lasted only 4.1 IP last time out and threw over 100 pitches. The start before that he lasted just 2.2 IP and threw 75 pitches. If you cannot pitch deep into games then you are useless in daily fantasy no matter how well you pitch that day. BOS is a tough opponent anyway. They are batting .284 at home, .251 versus left-handers, and .256 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 2
Batter Grind Down
- Home*Pettitte is allowing right-handers a .326 BAA. BOS is batting .328 as a team versus Pettitte. Fire up your BOS stacks! *RG Stack Rating 10
- Away Alfonso Soriano has been crushing the ball against left-handers since joining the Yankees. He has also been super hot with 47.5 fp over the last 7 days. Robinson Cano and Curtis Granderson have been hot as well. RG Stack Rating 4

TOR vs R | TOR BvP | TBR vs R | TBR BvP |
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – TAM -135
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Jeremy Hellickson posted tthose 2 really good months back to back in June and July and has now completely fallen apart here in August with 10.58 ERA and .387 BAA. I never like to jump on board with a struggling pitcher until he gets a good start under his belt. It makes him that much easier to avoid today since he is going against a TOR team with a great deal of power. TOR is batting .245 on the road, .253 versus right-handers, and .213 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away Do not be suprised if R.A. Dickey threws a good game tonight. H has been very good on the road with a 3.03 ERA. His problems all year have come from giving up the long ball. He has 26 in 25 games. However 19 of those came in Rodgers stadium and only 7 came on the road. Plus, he has held this TAM team to a .157 BAA. TAM is batting .264 at home, .252 versus Right-handers, and .248 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7
Batter Grind Down
- Home Evan Longoria, Matt Joyce and Kelly Johnson all have HRs versus Dickey. Longoria, Wil Myers and Ben Zobrist have been hot for TAM. RG Stack Rating 5
- Away Jose Bautista is 8-21 with 3 HRs versus Hellickson. J.P. Arecibia, Melky Cabrera, Adam Lind and Edwin Encarnacion all have positive BvPs as well. Bautista and Brett Lawrie have been hot for TOR. RG Stack Rating 6

SFG vs R | SFG BvP | MIA vs R | MIA BvP |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7
- Favored Team – Pick’em
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Nathan Eovaldi is pitching great baseball. He has a 2.12 ERA and .207 BAA at home and he draws a SFO team that has been struggling since the All-Star Break. His Ks are on the low side of things and SFO does not K all that much so he has limited upside. However, the value is there for him. SFO is batting .260 on the road, .261 versus right-handers, and .243 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7
- Away Chad Guadin is also pitching great baseball. For fantasy purposes, Guadin is a better player because he gets more Ks and has a better matchup. Both plays are risky since you cannot be sure that either guy will get the win but Guadin has the more upside of the two. MIA is batting .232 at home, .223 versus right-handers, and .209 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7
Batter Grind Down
- Home Guadin is allowing left-handers a .266 BAA. Logan Morrison has been the only productive Marlin. He is batting .316 versus right-handers. RG Stack Rating 2
- Away Brandon Belt remains hot for SFO. He has 28 fp over the last 7 days. Bradon Crawford, Buster Posey, Marco Scutaro, and Roger Kieschnick all hit right-handers for a high average. RG Stack Rating 3

WSN vs L | WSN BvP | ATL vs R | ATL BvP |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – ATL -160
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Alex Wood is the heavy favorite today. He has made the most of his chance so far and is certainly in play on a multiple pitcher site if he is still cheap enough. He seems to be on a pitch count in the mid 90s so his upside is limited to around 6 IP. WAS is batting .220 on the road, .221 versus left-handers, and .310 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6
- Away Taylor Jordan has an even more limited pitch count, one in the mid 80s and he has not been nearly as good as Wood. ATL Ks a bunch but if you are not in the game long enough then that does not matter. ATL is batting .266 at home, .256 versus right-handers, and .265 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
Batter Grind Down
- Home Jordan is allowing left-handers a .309 BAA. Freddie Freeman, Jason Heyward, and Brian McCann are your best bets here. RG Stack Rating 6
- Away Jayson Werth and Ian Desmond have been hot for WAS. Werth, Desmond, Wilson Ramos are all batting for a high average versus left-handers. RG Stack Rating 3

SEA vs L | SEA BvP | TEX vs R | TEX BvP |
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – TEX -166
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Derek Holland has been dealing for the last couple of months. His numbers take a small dip at home but they are still playable. He draws a SEA team that has heated up lately but also strikes out at a high rate and has difficulting hitting left-handers. Vegas has enough faith in him to make him the heavy favorite versus Iwakuma. SEA is batting .239 on the road, .229 versus left-handers, and .197 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 8
- Away Hisashi Iwakuma tweaked his back in his last start and had to leave early. You really do not want to use a player with something like that lingering over him. It makes him easy to ignore today in TEX since the park favors offense. TEX is batting .270 at home, .261 versus right-handers and .257 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home Ian Kinsler is 6-15 with 3 HRs versus Iwakuma. Adrian Beltre is 6-17 with 2 HRs. Davis Murphy is 5-18 with 1 HR. Iwakuma has been tough all year, though, even on the road. RG Stack Rating 5
- Away The only hitters that have been producing for SEA are the left-handed bats so I am not sure I like anyone from SEA versus the left-handed pitcher. RG Stack Rating 3
