What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – LAD -145
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home This is the early game so I want spend to much time on it . Travis Wood has been great at home and I like him today over Ryu but there are much better pitching options later. RG Start-Ability 7
- Away Hyun-Jin Ryu has been dismal away from LAD with a 4.62 ERA. If I were going to play an early start GPP then I would run a few cheap CHC players and free up salary for my favorite players in the night games. RG Start-Ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home Left-handers are batting .283 versus Ryu. The Cubs are a pretty decent hitting team at home. RG Stack Rating 4
- Away If you are going to take players from this hot LAD team make sure they are not left-handed because Wood is holding lefties to a .169 BAA. RG Stack Rating 3

COL vs R | COL BvP | PIT vs R | PIT BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – PIT -160
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Gerrit Cole continues to receive faith from Las Vegas and he continues to underperform in daily fantasy. Yes, a 3.56 ERA and 1.13 WHIP are very good in the MLB but 5.94 K/9 and the fact that he has yet to throw over 100 pitches are make it more than 7 IP mean he is upside killer for your LU. He is another huge favorite today and he did have 8 Ks versus a MIA team last time out that does not normally K that much. COL is batting .249 on the road, .269 versus right-handers, .267 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away Jhoulys Chacin turns into a fantasy ace on the road. He has a 1.90 ERA, .232 BAA and K/9 over 8 away from COL. PIT is a dangerous offensive team so this is a play that could blow up in your face but they have also recorded the 3rd most Ks in the league so there is huge upside in the play for a min price. PIT is batting .246 at home, .241 versus right-handers, and .257 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 8
Batter Grind Down
- Home Left-handers are batting .271 versus Chacin. Alex Presley and Andrew McCutchen are both batting for a high average versus right-handers. Garrett Jones 5-9 with 2 HRs versus Chacin. Pedro Alvarez is 3-8 with 1 HR versus him. Andrew McCutchen is 3-9 with 1 HR versus him also and has a .338 batting average at home. RG Stack Rating 5
- Away Left-handers are batting .279 versus Cole. Todd Helton has not produced much fp over the last 7 days but he has been swinging for a high average. He could be nice value play. Michael Cuddyer and Troy Tulowitzki are both batting over .300 versus right-handers. RG Stack Rating 3

ATL vs R | ATL BvP | PHI vs R | PHI BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – ATL -155
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Ethan Martin ran a 8.3 K/9 in AAA and we all know by now the ATL has recorded the second most Ks in the league on the year. He had a 4.13 ERA and 1.392 WHIP so it is not exactly like he has been blowing his way through the ranks. Still, he will have upside on a multiple pitcher site because of his price. ATL is batting .242 on the road, .257 versus right-handers, and .316 over the last 7 days RG Start-Ability 4
- Away Kris Medlen has had his problems on the road with a 4.28 ERA and he has been even worse in July with a 6.24 ERA for the month. He gets just enough Ks to consider him playable against weaker opponents and they do not get any weaker than a PHI team that ranks 28th in the league in runs scored for the month of July. PHI is batting .250 on the road, .257 versus right-handers, and .199 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7
Batter Grind Down
- Home PHI owns a .373 BAA versus Medlen. There offense has been bad as of late but this could be a good spot to use them for value against a struggling pitcher. RG Stack Rating 6
- Away ATL is hot and they now get to Tee off against a AAA call-up. Consider everyone playable. Jason Heyward, Freddie Freeman, and Brian McCann are your best bets. RG Stack Rating 9

SEA vs R | SEA BvP | BAL vs R | BAL BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9
- Favored Team – BAL -173
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Chris Tillman ERA at home is a little higher at 3.93 but his BAA is much lower at .236. His 13-3 record illustrates the benefit of playing in front of the league’s 3rd best offensive team. SEA is batting .235 on the road, .251 versus right-handers, and .260 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7
- Away Aaron Harang has been awful on the road with a 6.03 ERA and .314 BAA. He gets the added hamper of facing a really tough BAL team. The line and OU should tell you all you need to know. BAL is batting .259 at home, .276 versus right-handers, and .232 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 2
Batter Grind Down
- Home Chris Davis, Adam Jones, Manny Machado, Nate McLouth, Nick Markakis and Brian Roberts are all batting at a high average versus right-handers. J.J. Hardy is 6-26 with 3 HRs versus Harang. RG Stack Rating 10
- Away Kyle Seager has been hot for SEA with 26.5 fp over the last 7 days. He is also batting .333 versus right-handed pitching. SEA hitters should benefit from this hitters park. RG Stack Rating 4

CHW vs R | CHW BvP | DET vs L | DET BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8
- Favored Team – DET -225
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Doug Fister has been a groundball pitching machine. He has been very good at home as well with a 3.24 ERA. He has run into problems with this CHW team and they own a .354 BAA versus him. He is a huge favorite to get the win but his low K/9 gives him very little wiggle room in GPP play. CHW is batting .255 on the road, .252 versus right-handers, .232 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7
- Away Hector Santiago has been great on the road but DET is a dangerous proposition for any pitcher. They are simply too good at home. DET is batting .302 at home, .274 versus left-handers, and .304 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
Batter Grind Down
- Home Miguel Cabrera is batting .419 versus left-handed pitching and .383 at home. Jonny Peralta is batting .356 versus left-handers and .354 at home. Tori Hunter is batting .347 versus left-handers and .246 at home. Omar Infante is batting .291 versus left-handers and .343 at home. Matt Tulasosopo is batting .281 versus left-handers and .345 at home. RG Stack Rating 7
- Away Everyone on CHW has positive BvPs. Adam Dunn has been the most productive White Sox. Gordon Beckham is batting .354 versus right-handers. RG Stack Rating 3
