MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, June 19
Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?
squirrelpatrol: Shohei Ohtani
stevietpfl: Shohei Ohtani
TheLuuch: Shohei Ohtani
Alex Sonty: Shohei Ohtani
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
squirrelpatrol: I may get a bit different and go under the field on the top hitting stack (Dodgers) while spending up some at pitcher for a high-upside, low-pOWN% pitcher, like Garrett Crochet. The Dodgers all project well, but their high cost may force me to use them more as one-offs while I stack some lower-cost teams with upside, like the Mets and Brewers.
stevietpfl: Like I mentioned on the Morning Grind, I feel like this is a straightforward slate. I’m going to use Taj Bradley, Joe Ryan, Hunter Brown, Garrett Crochet, Freddy Peralta, and Cole Ragans at pitcher. My favorite stacks are the Dodgers, Mets, and Brewers. I’ll look for secondary stacks and one-offs with lower pOWN% to make my lineups different. I think pitching ownership, outside of Brown on DK, will be spread out.
TheLuuch: Passing on a lot of the higher-end pitching. Cheaper options like Hunter Brown and Tyler Anderson have very low projected ownership and have been fantastic lately. Rostering one or both gives you a ton of salary to create stacks.
Alex Sonty: There are a lot of options. The field will likely spend up to Cole Ragans at SP1 and spend down to Hunter Brown at SP2 in order to mini-stack the Dodgers. I’m looking to spend down on both pitching slots to full-stack the Dodgers. Brown is the primary target. I might hold my nose and roster Andrew Heaney, Luis Medina, or Sean Manaea with him. I also might mini-stack against Joe Ryan, Freddy Peralta, or Kevin Gausman in my single-entry lineups. Like I said, there are a lot of ways to get different.
