MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday, September 3

How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

STLCardinals84: This is a really difficult slate without elite options on either side of the ledger. We shouldn’t have to worry about ownership TOO much. I will go with a narrow pitching pool focused on prioritizing Chris Sale and Tarik Skubal over the likes of George Kirby and Sandy Alcantara at the top. I will also fade the Phillies offense against Wade Miley, as the full stack is expensive and the Phillies have struggled a bit against LHP this season.

Krayton: On FD, I will be overweight on Toronto, as they are in such a great spot against Chase Anderson, with an implied run total over 7. I will also have a condensed pitching pool on both sites, with Tarik Skubal being my SP1, and I will also have Jon Gray, Ranger Suarez, and then Zack Thompson as my favorite cheap pitcher. On DK, I do like Boston. However, I like getting the Rangers and Mariners in my lineup for GPPs, as they will be lower owned and have great upside.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing this differently on each site due to Coors only being on the FD slate. Offense is evenly spread out except for Toronto, so on FD, I’ll do whatever I can to be heavily overweight on them. On DK, I’ll take my stands at pitcher, getting significantly overweight on cheap options like Zack Thompson and maybe even Michael Kopech to spend up for as many bats as I can.

TastefulTides: On DK, by fading Sandy Alcantara, Chris Sale, and the Cardinals bats, I should be getting away from enough ownership that when I play a chalky Tarik Skubal, I should still be okay in terms of aggregate ownership in GPPs. The Red Sox are the priority stack for me, with the Marlins as my more contrarian stack. On FD, I am going to continue to stack the Blue Jays regardless of ownership, with Miami and Detroit being my favorite cheaper stacks.
