NFL Week 2 Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings 2022

Week 1 saw all the stars at the wideout position be exactly that. We saw monster performances from Cooper Kupp, Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson, and Ja’Marr Chase. Kupp is just always open, and he will be all season. Adams didn’t skip a beat as he reunited with his college teammate. It seemed like the Packers didn’t even bother to cover Jefferson, as he looked like he was running routes on air most of the day. And it’s safe to say Burrow to Chase is going to be a thing for a long time. Here’s how the WR group stacks up week 2 according to FanDuel.

As always with the WR position production could come from just about anybody on this list. You never know who it’s going to be, but getting that big time performance out of your WR2 or FLEX position could really be instrumental in getting your team into the win column this week. Here’s a few names to keep an eye on.

Michael Pittman

Pittman picked up right where he left off in week 1. He saw 13 targets and caught 9 of them for 121 and a touchdown. He’s the unquestioned leader of this receiving corps and has a great matchup against a Jacksonville secondary that made Carson Wentz look like the guy that almost won the MVP in 2017.

The Colts are also coming off a sub par performance that led to a tie against the Texans. Look for them to be focused and ready to prove a point in week 2. It could be a big day for the Colts offense, and Pittman will have a lot to do with that.

Allen Robinson

Look, they didn’t pay this guy $17 million to get his cardio in on Sundays and only see two targets a game. It was an awful performance by the Rams in week 1. They fell behind and I think that led to Stafford falling back on what he knows and targeting familiar faces like Kupp and TE, Tyler Higbee, frequently to try and keep them in the game.

The Rams are likely to have a lot more control of the game this week, and I can see McVay making a concerted effort to get the ball to his new weapon early and often. Expect a different Rams team this week against Atlanta and a different Allen Robinson as a result.

Amon-Ra St. Brown

St. Brown and QB Jared Goff started to build solid chemistry towards the end of last season and it has carried over into 2022. He targeted the wideout 12 times last week and converted on 8 of them for 64 yards and a touchdown. St. Brown is without a doubt the number one threat in this passing offense and will continue to see the bulk of the targets.

The Commanders struggled with Christian Kirk out of the slot last week allowing 6 catches for 117 yards. St. Brown also works out of the slot a lot so there’s plenty of reason to believe he’ll see similar success this week.
