C/1B) Yonder Alonso, Cleveland (FD Price $3100)
Alonso has hit 16 of 20 home runs off RHP where he owns a .344 wOBA which improves to a .361 wOBA on the road. He also has three home runs in 12 ABs against opposing starter James Shields.
2B) Travis Shaw, Milwaukee (FD Price $3600)
The lefty Shaw has produced a .380 wOBA against RHP, including 22 of his 23 home runs. He’s swinging a hot bat in August (.420 wOBA).
3B) David Freese, Pittsburgh (FD Price $2700)
At this price you won’t find a hotter hitter than Freese. He’s posted a .402 wOBA since the All-Star break.
SS) Carlos Correa, Houston (FD Price $3600)
Just back from the disabled list, Correa owns a .376 wOBA against LHP.
OF) Justin Upton, Los Angeles Angels (FD Price $3300)
Upton does his best work against RHP at home in Anaheim where he’s produced a .409 wOBA and 15 homers.
OF) Shohei Ohtani, Los Angeles Angels (FD Price $3100)
he lefty owns a .438 wOBA against RHP at home and a .569 wOBA in August.
OF) Kole Calhoun, Los Angeles Angels (FD Price $3100)
We complete the Angels “triple play” with hot-hitting Calhoun, who has a .449 wOBA since the All-Star break, including seven home runs and 20 RBI in 19 games.
UTIL) Alex Bregman, Houston (FD Price $3700)
Bregman is has a .405 wOBA against LHP which rises to a .421 wOBA at home in Houston.
Stacking Option
When it comes time to draft a fantasy baseball team in DFS, stacking is a widely accepted strategy. There’s a reason: it works. If you want to win big, you will need a gigantic score, and stacking makes it easier to rack up the points because the scoring of batters in a given lineup is interrelated. Batters reaching base allows the hitters down the line to drive them in, creating something of a snowball effect.
Los Angeles Angels
The outfield “trio” of Upton, Calhoun and Ohtani plus Albert Pujols could make up your Saturday stack.
