Week 6 Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings

After almost reaching the top of the Fantasy Football QB Rankings, Anthony Richardson went down with a shoulder injury last week and will likely miss a few games. However, Tua Tagovailoa continues to manage the league’s top offense and finds himself near the top once again. Joe Burrow finally looked more like himself last week and gets a phenomenal matchup against the Seahawks while Kirk Cousins lost his top option to the Injured Reserve. It’s an eventful Week 6 Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings with clear tiers separating each group of QBs.

Week 6 Quarterback Rankings

1. Josh Allen – The only potential concern here is blowout risk, but Allen is still going to get his points against a terrible Giants team.

2. Patrick Mahomes – I love Isiah Pacheco in DFS this week, but Patrick Mahomes remains a top Fantasy Football option.

3. Jalen Hurts – He looks fantastic and is always among the best options.

4. Lamar Jackson – If only his receivers could catch passes, he may be number 1.

5. Tua Tagovailoa – The loss of Achane will likely hamper the Dolphins’ offense slightly, but that probably also means a few more touchdown passes for Tua.

6. Trevor Lawrence – He’s back home in an incredible matchup.

7. Justin Herbert – The Chargers lose a lot of games they shouldn’t, but Herbert is as consistent of a Fantasy Football QB as they come.

8. Joe Burrow – He looked back to himself last week, fire him up with full confidence. There’s a big drop-off after Burrow this week.

9. Kirk Cousins – Still a strong tier 3 option, but the ceiling is a lot lower without Jefferson.

10. Justin Fields – Fields is looking a lot more like the high-upside Fantasy Football Quarterback that we expected.

11. Matthew Stafford – This offense looks DYNAMIC with Kupp and Nacua together.

12. Dak Prescott – A great bounce-back spot against the Chargers.

13. Daniel Jones – He’s not great and the offensive line is horrific, but he still has some rushing upside.

14. Sam Howell – Strong matchup against Atlanta, he’s the beginning of tier 4.

15. Geno Smith – Tough matchup against the Bengals, but Geno is rarely outside of the top 15-20.

16. Brock Purdy – His ceiling is capped by the likelihood Christian McCaffrey will be heavily involved on the ground, but he’s as consistent as they come.

17. Russell Wilson – He has shown more rushing upside lately and they’re always coming from behind.

18. Jared Goff – Tough matchup on the road.

19. Gardner Minshew – Obviously we’d like to see Anthony Richardson healthy, but Minshew can still produce fantasy points.

20. Jimmy Garoppolo – Strong matchup, but I still don’t like him. The final tier.

21. CJ Stroud – Great rookie QB, really tough matchup.

22. Derek Carr – The Saints’ offense finally showed signs of life last week. I need to see more to believe it.

23. Joshua Dobbs – Not a great passer, but he provides a solid rushing upside.

24. Ryan Tannehill – Tough matchup, I don’t want to play Tannehill.

25. Deshaun Watson – He’s probably going to play, but, yuck.

26. Baker Mayfield – I really never want to play Baker.

27. Bryce Young – He’s looked rough, but it’s a great matchup.

28. Zach Wilson – I was hoping to see more from him last week, but this is Breece Hall team now.

29. Mac Jones – No thanks.

30. Desmond RidderDEFINITELY no thanks.

Fantasy Football QB Notes

With 5 different tiers of quarterbacks this week, I definitely wouldn’t want to have to play any lower than Gardner Minshew this week, regardless of how deep the league is. There’s a clear top two tiers that ends with Joe Burrow, and he’s going to be my favorite QB to target in DFS this week. Players like Sam Howell and Daniel Jones are totally competent as fill-in quarterbacks, but it’s worth it to shop around and see if anyone in your Fantasy Football league is still willing to sell low. There aren’t many quarterbacks in dream matchups this week, with a firmly planted Josh Allen at the top of the Week 6 Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings.
