Lineup Update: Bucks will start Holiday, Allen, Middleton, Portis, Lopez on Saturday. The Bucks will elect to go with a big lineup on Saturday, having Bobby Portis shift to the four with Brook Lopez entering the starting lineup to play the center position. Lopez will probably still not see a full starter’s allocation of minutes though as he continues to work on his conditioning coming of an injury. Pat Connaughton, Serge Ibaka, and Jordan Nwora should all be in line to play larger roles off the bench. Connaughton is particularly interesting as he is just 1.5K on the DK showdown slate and should see somewhere around 20 minutes.

Timberwolves will start Russell, Beverley, Edwards, Vanderbilt, Towns on Saturday; Anthony Edwards, Karl-Anthony Towns, Jarred Vanderbilt, Jordan McLaughlin, and Naz Reid all available

Anthony Edwards, Karl-Anthony Towns, Jarred Vanderbilt, Jordan McLaughlin, and Naz Reid will all be available to play despite carrying an injury designation in to today’s game. The only regular that will be out tonight will be Jaden McDaniels who is dealing with an ankle injury. With close to a full squad most members of the Timberwolves will remain in their usual roles with Jarred Vanderbilt, Malik Beasley, and Taurean Prince asked to play a slightly larger role as they cover the minutes that McDaniels is accustomed to seeing. Most Timberwolves seem to be adequately priced on the showdown slate with KAT being one of the best projected players.

Reggie Bullock (personal) now ruled out Saturday

Reggie Bullock (personal) now ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets after previously being removed from the injury report. Bullock will miss his 4th straight game due to a personal issue joining Spencer Dinwiddie who was ruled out earlier today. Josh Green will likely get the start for the Mavericks now but will probably not see full starter run. He will likely see somewhere in the mid 20s range with Maxi Kleber seeing a similar amount as well off the bench. Frank Ntilikina, Davis Bertans, and Sterling Brown could also play larger roles off the bench as well. Green will enter value play consideration on tonight’s three game slate if he does in fact draw the start.

Pat Connaughton (finger) will play Saturday

Pat Connaughton (finger) will play Saturday against the Minnesota Timberwolves after being listed as probable coming into the day. Connaughton will either reclaim his role as the sixth man for the Bucks or draw a spot start with Giannis ruled out earlier in the day. Connaughton will be worth consideration on the showdown slate in an increased role and at the minimum price on DK.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) ruled out Saturday

Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. With Giannis out, Pat Connaughton and Serge Ibaka seem to be the most likely candidates to join the starting lineup. Either way both should see increased run and be considered as better plays. With Giannis off the biggest benefactors are Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday who should carry the offensive load for Milwaukee. Brook Lopez could play a larger role backing up Portis and Jordan Nwora should rejoin the rotation. When the starting lineup is released it will be more telling of what the Bucks plan to do, luckily this game is a showdown slate and we should get this info prior to tip.

Karl-Anthony Towns (arm) now listed questionable Saturday

Karl-Anthony Towns (arm) now listed questionable for Saturday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks. KAT is a late addition to an already long injury report for Minnesota. He joins Jarred Vanderbilt, Jordan McLaughlin, and Naz Reid who are all questionable and Anthony Edwards who is listed as probable. With this many potential moving parts it is difficult to get a clear idea of what would happen if KAT were to miss but obviously it would significantly alter the slate. It will be important to stay tuned as we get more information regarding who will be available for the Timberwolves today.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (ankle) listed questionable Saturday

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (ankle) has been listed questionable for Saturday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers. KCP apparently tweaked his ankle late last night against the Knicks according to HC Wes Unseld Jr. If KCP were forced to miss, Deni Avdija or Rui Hachimura would seem to be the most likely candidates to replace him in the starting lineup. Both will likely see a bump regardless and would become better plays. It would also be likely that Raul Neto, Kyle Kuzma, and Kristaps Porzingis would be called upon to shoulder more of the load on offense for Washington. Any excess guard minutes would likely be picked up by Tomas Satoransky off the bench.

Dean Wade (knee) listed out Saturday; Rajon Rondo (ankle) listed doubtful

Dean Wade (knee) has been listed out for Saturday’s game against the Detroit Pistons, while Rajon Rondo (ankle) has been listed doubtful. Both players were expected to miss tonight’s game so they were already removed from projections. Lamar Stevens will likely get the start for Wade once again, though he has not seen true starter minutes. This will likely continue and it is best to avoid him in DFS contests for the time-being. With Rondo likely out, Brandon Goodwin should continue to handle the bulk of the backup point guard duties behind Darius Garland. Goodwin has also not seen enough run to be considered in DFS contests at this time.

LeBron James (knee), Wayne Ellington (illness), Wenyen Gabriel (ankle) questionable Saturday; Talen Horton-Tucker (ankle) probable; Carmelo Anthony not listed on injury report

LeBron James (knee), Wayne Ellington (illness), Wenyen Gabriel (ankle) have all been listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against the Washington Wizards, while Talen Horton-Tucker (ankle) has been listed probable. LeBron has played in every game other than one despite being listed as questionable with this ailment so far this season but on the second leg of a back to back and playing in an overime game last night if there was ever a day to get extra rest it would be today. LeBron’s absence would change the entire slate, so stay tuned for more information regarding his status. Ellington missed last night and might miss again with an illness, if he were to miss Avery Bradley and D.J. Augustin could play a larger role off the bench for the Lakers. Gabriel started last night and played incredibly well in the time he was on the floor before being forced to the locker room with an ankle injury, though he was able to return to the game later. If he were able to start again tonight, he would be worth consideration as a value option at the minimum price on DK. Carmelo Anthony is no longer listed on the injury report after missing last night and should be ready to return to his role as the sixth man for the Lakers tonight. We are still waiting on a lot of info, so stay tuned as a lot of plays could open up depending on who is available for the Lakers.

Spencer Dinwiddie (knee) out on Saturday; Reggie Bullock (personal) no longer listed on injury report.

Spencer Dinwiddie (knee) will be out on Saturday against the Charlotte Hornets, while Reggie Bullock (personal) is no longer listed on injury report. Bullock will likely absorb all of Dinwiddie’s minutes and rejoin the starting lineup. With Dinwiddie displaced from the starting lineup, the usage that he commands should be split amongst the other starters for Dallas increasing their value. Ultimately, there shouldn’t be too many changes rotation wise for the Mavericks outside of Bullock taking the place of Dinwiddie. Frank Ntilikina could rejoin the rotation with the Mavericks likely needing another guard off the bench, these minutes likely coming at the expense of Sterlling Brown and the other backup forwards.

Kings will start Mitchell, Holiday, Barnes, Lyles, Sabonis on Friday. As reported earlier, Davion Mitchell will draw the start for the Kings with De’Aaron Fox ruled out. Mitchell will be worth consideration as a value play at just 3.8K on DK.

Suns will start Payne, Booker, Bridges, Craig, Ayton on Friday. As expected, Torrey Craig will make his second start in a row with Jae Crowder once again ruled out. Torrey Craig is worth consideration as a value play at just 4K on DK.

Zach LaVine (knee) listed available to play Friday

Zach LaVine (knee) has been listed available to play Friday against the Phoenix Suns. As expected after being listed as probable on the injury report coming into the day, LaVine will be available and should remain in his normal role for the Bulls. He should start and play heavy minutes with most of the offense running through him, DeMar DeRozan, and Nikola Vucevic.

Lineup Update: Jazz will start Conley, Alexander-Walker, O’Neale, Hernangomez, Gobert on Friday. Nickeil Alexander-Walker will get the start over Jordan Clarkson tonight as the Jazz will elect to continue to have Clarkson run with the second unit. Both players should still see a considerable amount of run as the Jazz will only have 10 available bodies.

Spurs will start Murray, Primo, Vassell, Johnson, Poeltl on Friday. As expected, Josh Primo will enter the starting lineup for the Spurs with Josh Richardson ruled out. All San Antonio players are priced fairly at this time on DK due to the rotating cast of available bodies.
