Anthony Edwards (knee) and Taurean Prince (back) will play Friday against the Orlando Magic, while Jordan McLaughlin (groin) has been ruled out. Edwards should return to his role in the starting lineup for the Timberwolves while Prince should return to his role off the bench. With McLaughlin ruled out, Jaylen Nowell should see the bulk of the backup point guard minutes for Minnesota, though this still likely won’t be enough for him to be worth considering in DFS contests tonight. Jarred Vanderbilt (quad) will warm up and is considered to be a game-time decision. If he were to be ruled out, Jaden McDaniels would likely enter the starting lineup for him and would be worth some consideration.

With McDermott out, Josh Richardson seems to be the most likely candidate to join the starting lineup for the Spurs. He should see increased run and can be considered as a value option on tonight’s slate at just 3.5K on DK. The Spurs are rather thin right now due to injury so bench players will likely be called upon to play a larger role than they are accustomed to.
