Aaron Gordon (foot) and Bones Hyland (knee) are available to play Thursday, while Zeke Nnaji (knee) has been ruled out. Gordon is expected to start and Hyland is expected to see increased backup guard minutes with Will Barton being ruled out earlier in the day. Will Barton (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Golden State Warriors while Jeff Green (personal) will play. Will Barton will once again be out for Denver meaning Austin Rivers will likely remain in the starting lineup and see increased minutes. Nikola Jokic also benefits from Barton’s absence as even more of the Denver offense should run through him. Jeff Green will likely make his return to the starting lineup for the Nuggets tonight and should see a good workload. Bones Hyland and Zeke Nnaji both remain questionable but only Hyland projects to be a part of the rotation at this time.

Will Barton, Bones Hyland, Jeff Green, and Zeke Nnaji all questionable on Thursday; Aaron Gordon probable. This game is 2.5 hours after lock so it’s going to be tricky to navigate without knowing their statuses. If Barton is out again, Austin Rivers should draw a spot start. If Jeff Green can’t go, we saw Davon Reed start in his place. Hyland’s absence would allow someone like Bryn Forbes to get an expanded role while also allowing Facundo Campazzo to potentially stay in the rotation.
