Dean Wade will start for the Cavaliers on Tuesday. Wade will draw the start for the injured Jarrett Allen, meaning Evan Mobley will shift over to center. I don’t have much interest in Wade, and prefer Kevin Love in the second unit if target someone here.

Cam Thomas (back) available on Tuesday. This isn’t too impactful on a full slate but it’s possible Thomas gets a little more usage in the second unit with LaMarcus Aldridge out. But for the most part, he’s not on my radar for DFS purposes.

Jalen Suggs (ankle) out on Tuesday. Markelle Fultz will be around to help with the backcourt but we likely see RJ Hampton get another spot start. Hampton will hold some appeal as a punt option if he does indeed start. It’s also possible Gary Harris draws a spot start and would also have some appeal, but with Suggs off the court this season he’s only been a 0.69 fantasy point per minute producer. In comparison, Hampton has been at 0.82 while Fultz has been at 1.10 but likely remains on a minute restriction.

The losses of Iguodala and Payton will impact the second unit and should give Jonathan Kuminga and Jordan Poole more responsibility in the second unit.

Brandon Ingram (hamstring) now questionable on Tuesday. This would be a huge loss for the Pelicans if Ingram can’t suit up. Garrett Temple would be a candidate to draw a spot start, while more of the offensive duties would fall on CJ McCollum. CourtIQ shows that with Ingram off the court this season, McCollum and Herb Jones have received 4% usage bumps.

The fact Suggs didn’t go through shootaround isn’t a good sign, especially on the front end of a back-to-back, so we’ll have to see if he’s able to suit up. If he can’t go, more minutes will be up for grabs and RJ Hampton is a candidate to spot start. Markelle Fultz will play tonight but rest tomorrow. He’s slowly seen his minutes ramp up from 16 >15 > 19, so there’s a chance he might be able to get up to 20+ tonight.
