Chicago Bulls

Nic Claxton (hamstring) expected to play Tuesday.

Nic Claxton (hamstring) expected to play Tuesday. This is a bit of a surprise but it should push Day’Ron Sharpe out of the starting lineup and potentially impact minutes for Sharpe and LaMarcus Aldridge. We’ll need to monitor news on whether Claxton faces any minute restrictions in his return.

Scottie Barnes

Toronto Raptors
1/25/22, 6:42 PM ET

Scottie Barnes (wrist) questionable on Tuesday.

Scottie Barnes (wrist) questionable on Tuesday. Already down Fred VanVleet, this could mean even more minutes for backups Dalano Banton and/or Malachi Flynn. This is a hot mess but value could be opening up on Toronto even more now.

Will Barton (hamstring) out on Tuesday; Jeff Green (quad) available; JaMychal Green (conditioning) doubtful.

Will Barton (hamstring) out on Tuesday; Jeff Green (quad) available; JaMychal Green (conditioning) doubtful. This should force Austin Rivers back into the starting lineup to replace Barton, and Bryn Forbes to see a larger role in the second unit. With JaMychal Green out, Zeke Nnaji should see some rotation minutes, but this isn’t DFS relevant.

Oklahoma City Thunder

Gordon Hayward (foot) out on Tuesday.

Gordon Hayward (foot) out on Tuesday. Cody Martin drew the start for Hayward last game and should get another start here. This should also give Kelly Oubre extended run off the bench, especially with the Hornets still without Jalen McDaniels.

Raptors will start Trent, Barnes, Siakam, Anunoby and Achiuwa on Tuesday.

Raptors will start Trent, Barnes, Siakam, Anunoby and Achiuwa on Tuesday. This confirms that the Raptors want to start big against the Hornets, giving Precious Achiuwa the start here and moving Gary Trent Jr. to the point guard spot. Per CourtIQ when Fred VanVleet has been off the court this season, Pascal Siakam has led the team with 1.17 fantasy points per minute.

Houston Rockets

Fred VanVleet (knee) out on Tuesday. This will shift Gary Trent Jr. to the starting point guard role and we’ve seen Pascal Siakam lead the team with 1.17 fantasy points per minute with VanVleet off the court this season. We should also see Dalano Banton remain in the rotation now with VanVleet out.

Keita Bates-Diop

Minnesota Timberwolves
1/25/22, 4:46 PM ET

Keita Bates-Diop (health protocols) out Tuesday.

Keita Bates-Diop (health protocols) out Tuesday. Bates-Diop was only projected for minutes in the teens so it won’t have too much of an impact to their rotation. Expect Lonnie Walker and Doug McDermott to cover Bates-Diop’s minutes.

Fred VanVleet

Houston Rockets
1/25/22, 3:43 PM ET

Fred VanVleet (knee) downgraded to questionable Tuesday

Fred VanVleet (knee) downgraded to questionable Tuesday. If VanVleet can’t suit up tonight, Dalano Banton could draw a spot start and offer some value. Chimezie Metu

Detroit Pistons
1/25/22, 3:41 PM ET

Chimezie Metu (knee) listed doubtful Tuesday

Chimezie Metu (knee) listed doubtful Tuesday. This downgrade should leave more playing time for Richaun Holmes, Marvin Bagley and Harrison Barnes. Holmes is extra cheap on DraftKings while Barnes has some appeal in GPPs, especially if De’Aaron Fox (questionable) can’t suit up.

Brandon Ingram

Toronto Raptors
1/25/22, 1:42 PM ET

Brandon Ingram (ankle) and Josh Hart (ankle) out Tuesday.

Brandon Ingram (ankle) and Josh Hart (ankle) out Tuesday. Ingram was already doubtful and not in initial projections but Josh Hart being ruled out is big news as the Pelicans have also ruled out Devonte Graham and Jonas Valanciunas. There is a chance Nickeil Alexander-Walker joins the starting lineup to replace Hart, making him an even stronger punt play on this slate. He’s coming off a 30 point fantasy game and now will have free reign in this offense to take on more. He graded out as a top 3 RG Value option already and his projected ownership should skyrocket with this news.

Devonte Graham

Portland Trail Blazers
1/25/22, 1:45 PM ET

Devonte' Graham and Jonas Valanciunas out on Tuesday.

Devonte’ Graham and Jonas Valanciunas out on Tuesday for rest. This likely pushes Jose Alvarado into the starting lineup for Graham, and potentially Willy Hernangomez for Valanciunas, who has been a DNP-CD candidate lately. This is also a boost Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Jaxson Hayes. The Pelicans are now going to be the source of value we’re looking for to allow us to spend up on the studs.
