Derrick Favors

Atlanta Hawks
11/15/21, 3:58 PM ET

Derrick Favors (rest) listed out Monday; Darius Bazley (foot) listed questionable

Favors will sit for rest purposes on the second leg of a back-to-back set against the Miami Heat, while Bazley has been listed as questionable on the Thunder’s injury report due plantar fasciitis in his right foot. The Thunder will have the services of Mike Muscala, who sat for rest in Sunday’s loss, so the absence of Favors shouldn’t alter the look of the frontcourt rotation from yesterday’s contest with Muscala stepping directly into his vacated minute allotment this evening.

Chris Boucher (back) ruled out Monday

Boucher is still technically listed as doubtful on the Raptors’ injury report, but he disclosed to reporters following morning shootaround that he won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers due to a sore lower back. Meanwhile, Fred VanVleet and Precious Achiuwa remain listed as questionable with their respective ailments, and if Achiuwa is cleared to play the impact of Boucher’s absence should be almost minimal as Pascal Siakam has been filling in as a small-ball center whenever Achiuwa and Khem Birch are off the floor, eliminating the need for Boucher’s role in the frontcourt rotation.
