Status Update: Yuta Watanabe and Jalen Harris are game-time decisions Friday

Yuta Watanabe and Jalen Harris are considered game-time decisions Friday after being listed as doubtful on the injury report earlier in the day. The Raptors are currently at eight available bodies without Yuta or Harris so if they were to be made available it would effect much of the value that is currently available strictly due to playing time. Both Yuta and Harris would be in line to see 20 minutes or so each if they were cleared to play with no restrictions. The offense should be run through Malachi Flynn, Gary Trent Jr., and Stanley Johnson (who had an incredible night last night) but Coach Nurse has been very inconsistent with his rotations.

Harrison Barnes

5/14/21, 8:18 PM ET

Harrison Barnes (adductor) out Friday

As expected Harrison Barnes will remain out tonight when the Kings take on the Memphis Grizzlies. With no Holmes (who was ruled out earlier in the day) and likely no Bagley, Chimezie Metu will likely draw the start at center with Damian Jones backing him up. Both can be considered value options strictly due to the amount of minutes and opportunities each should see with a very thin Kings roster. This game will likely be closer than one would expect due to the fact that the Grizzlies will be resting their entire starting lineup ahead of their play in seeding deciding game on Sunday. The Kings offense should be run through Delon Wright, Buddy Hield, and Terence Davis.

5/14/21, 8:15 PM ET

Serge Ibaka (back) will play Friday

Serge Ibaka will play Friday when the Clippers take on the Houston Rockets. He likely will not see too many minutes as this is his first game back in about two months but will take some time away from Ivica Zubac as well as Demarcus Cousins. With Kawhi Leonard and Paul George both out most of the Clipper offense should be run through Luke Kennard who will likely be the top play for the Clippers tonight, while Morris, Batum, and Rajon Rondo should also garner some consideration.

Matisse Thybulle (hand) ruled out Friday; Joel Embiid, Shake Milton, and Furkan Korkmaz available

Matisse Thybulle (hand) has officially been ruled out Friday while Joel Embiid, Shake Milton, and Furkan Korkmaz are available when the 76ers take on the Orlando Magic. This was pretty much expected other than Thybulle (who was questionable) when the injury report came out. All 76ers should pretty much see their normal run aside from Mike Scott and Anthony Tolliver (who will see more minutes because of the Howard suspension) including Tobias Harris and Ben Simmons who would have seen big boosts if Embiid was ruled out. Although the sixers are trying to clinch the division tonight they should take care of the Magic fairly easily so the Philadelphia stars might not see their full minutes as the team prepares for a playoff run. Having said that it is entirely possible that they reach value even with limited minutes.

Lineup Update: Grizzlies will start Jones, Bane, Winslow, Tillie, Tillman on Friday

5/14/21, 7:26 PM ET

With the Grizzlies resting most of their starters, Coach Jenkins will run with Jones, Bane, Winslow, Tillie, Tillman as the starting five on Friday against the Sacramento Kings. Coach Jenkins called tonight a “great development opportunity” so expect plenty of run for the younger Grizzlies players.

Mike Conley

Boston Celtics
5/14/21, 6:48 PM ET

Mike Conley will play Friday on a minutes limit

Mike Conley will play Friday on a minutes limit. It sounded like Conley expected to play earlier in the day when he was talking to the media so this is no surprise, he did mention earlier that even if he is able to play he expects to be on a minutes limit which should limit his potential upside in tonight’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. With Conley restricted Jordan Clarkson could see a few more minutes off the bench and Miye Oni could enter the rotation. In a matchup with the Thunder a blowout is always a possibility especially this late in the season, be wary of rostering too many Jazz players as they could rest their stars in the second half if the game gets out of hand ahead of the playoffs.

New Lineup: Wizards starters are Westbrook, Hutchison, Bertans, Hachimura, Len on Friday

5/14/21, 6:38 PM ET

Chandler Hutchinson will get the start for Neto not Mathews as previously reported.

Ty Jerome

Memphis Grizzlies
5/14/21, 6:46 PM ET

Ty Jerome (calf) available to play Friday

Ty Jerome will be available to play Friday when the Thunder take on the Utah Jazz. Jerome was questionable earlier in the day but has just been upgraded to available, he should continue to come off the bench and see minutes in the low 20s. The Thunder draw a tough matchup with the Jazz who are not resting any key pieces so this game definitely has the potential to become a blowout. Jerome’s availability will limit the minutes that Svi Mykhailuk and Charlie Brown could have seen in his absence. The Thunder’s offense should be run through Theo Maledon, Moses Brown, and Darius Bazley.

Lineup Update: Cavs will start Sexton, Okoro, Osman, Wade, Allen on Friday

5/14/21, 6:51 PM ET

Cedi Osman will be available and start Friday against the Washington Wizards and Darius Garland will be available off the bench.

As reported by: Cleveland Cavaliers

Darius Garland

LA Clippers
5/14/21, 6:35 PM ET

Darius Garland will play off bench Friday and be limited; Cedi Osman will also play

Darius Garland and Cedi Osman will return for the Cavaliers Friday night when they take on the Washington Wizards. Darius Garland will play off the bench and be limited after missing the last seven games while Cedi will return after missing the last three. Cedi will return to the starting lineup and see considerable run while we are projecting Garland to be somewhere in the low to mid 20s. The return of both Cedi and Garland saps up some of the value that the other Cavalier players could have seen but Dean Wade and Jarrett Allen should still be pretty strong plays with Love out. The Cavalier offense should run primarily through Collin Sexton, Jarrett Allen, Cedi Osman, and Garland (when he is on the court).

Lineup Update: Wizards will start Westbrook, Mathews, Bertans, Hachimura, Len on Friday

5/14/21, 5:49 PM ET

As announced earlier Garrison Mathews will enter the starting lineup for Raul Neto who was officially ruled out for Friday’s game with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Raul Neto

Cleveland Cavaliers
5/14/21, 5:46 PM ET

Raul Neto (hamstring) ruled out Friday

Raul Neto has officially been ruled out Friday after being considered a game-time decision about 15 minutes ago ahead of the Wizards matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Garrison Matthews will take his spot in the starting lineup alongside Westbrook, Bertans, Hachimura, and Len. Garrison Mathews will see an increase in minutes and it is likely Ish Smith and Chandler Hutchinson could see a few more as well. Mathews can be added to the long list of players that can be considered as value plays tonight in a game that Washington really wants to win for play in purposes. The Wizards offense will be run through Westbrook who is an elite option especially with Beal out and Bertans and Hachimura will also likely see some production.
