Richaun Holmes listed out Friday; Marvin Bagley and Harrison Barnes doubtful
Richaun Holmes has been listed out for Friday while Marvin Bagley and Harrison Barnes have been listed as doubtful ahead of the Kings matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies. With no Holmes and likely no Bagley or Barnes Chimezie Metu will likely draw the start at center with Damian Jones backing him up. Both can be considered value options strictly due to the amount of minutes and opportunities each should see with a very thin Kings roster. This game will likely be closer than one would expect due to the fact that the Grizzlies will be resting their entire starting lineup ahead of their play in seeding deciding game on Sunday. The Kings offense should be run through Delon Wright, Buddy Hield, and Terence Davis.

Raul Neto is a game-time decision Friday when the Wizards take on the Cleveland Cavaliers. If Neto is unable to go Garrison Matthews would take his spot in the starting lineup alongside Westbrook, Bertans, Hachimura, and Len. Garrison Mathews would see an increase in minutes and it is likely Ish Smith and Chandler Hutchinson could see a few more as well. Mathews can be added to the long list of players that can be considered as value plays tonight in a game that Washington really wants to win for play in purposes. The Wizards offense will be run through Westbrook who is an elite option especially with Beal out and Bertans and Hachimura will also likely see some production.

Mike Conley and Juwan Morgan have both been upgraded to probable Friday. It sounded like Conley expected to play earlier in the day when he was talking to the media so this is no surprise, he did mention earlier that even if he is able to play he expects to be on a minutes limit which should limit his potential upside in tonight’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. With Conley restricted Jordan Clarkson could see a few more minutes off the bench and Miye Oni could enter the rotation. In a matchup with the Thunder a blowout is always a possibility especially this late in the season, be wary of rostering too many Jazz players as they could rest their stars in the second half if the game gets out of hand ahead of the playoffs.

Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, and Draymond Green all have been ruled out for Friday’s matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans. It looks like the Warriors will rest their key players tonight ahead of their more important game Sunday with the Grizzlies that will decide seeding for the play in tournament. The Grizzlies already ruled out much of their starting lineup so it was expected that the Warriors would employ a similar tactic. With these three offically out we are projecting Jordan Poole, Mychal Mulder (questionable), and Eric Paschall (probable) to enter the starting lineup. Jordan Poole projects extremely well and should be one of the top plays on the slate tonight while Mulder and Nico Mannion should also be considered as top value play options. The Warriors offense should run through Poole, Toscano-Anderson, and Kent Bazemore tonight.

Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Terance Mann, Pat Beverley, Amir Coffey have all been ruled out Friday, Reggie Jackson has been listed as doubtful, and Serge Ibaka has been listed as questionable ahead of the Clippers matchup with the Houston Rockets. The Clippers are resting their two stars on the second leg of a back to back which will lead to the usual suspects getting a bump as we have seen throughout this season. Luke Kennard becomes a top play and should see a ton of shots and minutes tonight along with increased run for Nicolas Barum and Marcus Morris. We could see the return of Serge Ibaka tonight who for the first time in two months is not listed as out on the injury report ahead of today’s game. If he were able to return this would likely limit the upside of Ivica Zubac and Demarcus Cousins who have been seeing run at the center position. Most of the Clipper offense should be run through Luke Kennard who will likely be the top play for the Clippers tonight, while Morris, Batum, and Rajon Rondo should also garner some consideration.

Jonas Valanciunas, Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr., Dillon Brooks, Brandon Clarke, and Kyle Anderson all have been ruled out Friday ahead of the Grizzlies matchup with the Sacramento Kings. Someone must have told the Grizzlies that this game doesn’t mean anything (which it doesn’t) because they are resting all of their top guys. The Grizzlies have nine available players and we are projecting Tyus Jones, Desmond Bane, Justise Winslow, Killian Tillie, and Xavier Tillman to start. No one listed is above 4.5K on DK and most are within a few hundred of the minimum. We are projecting Tyus Jones, Killian Tillie, and De’Anthony Melton as the top point per dollar plays for the Grizzlies tonight but it remains to be seen what Coach Jenkins will do for his starting lineup and for his rotations. As will be the case for many teams tonight, there is value to be had with the Grizzlies tonight it is just tough at this point to figure out what the best plays will be.

Kyle Lowry, Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby, Pascal Siakam, and Rodney Hood are listed as out while Jalen Harris and Yuta Watanabe are listed as doubtful ahead of the Raptor’s game Friday against the Dallas Mavericks. It was expected for many of the Raptors veterans to be resting at this point in the season but some of the younger players included on the injury report were a surprise. This leaves the Raptors with eight available players (if Harris and Wantanabe are officially ruled out later) so once again the Raptors will be a good option when looking for value pieces. The challenge will be deciding which pieces to roster as we have seen Nick Nurse be inconsistent with playing time all under the guise of experimentation. Malachi Flynn, Gary Trent Jr., and Stanley Johnson (who had an incredible night last night) should be top considerations but all Raptors should see a large amount of playing time tonight due to the lack of available bodies.

Kevin Love is listed out ahead of Friday’s matchup with the Washington Wizards. Love who had a great game last night will sit tonight which will likely mean Dean Wade will join the starting lineup and see some increased run. Mfiondu Kabengele and Anderson Varejao also will likely see increased run with Love unavailable. The Cavaliers also have Cedi Osman and Darius Garland listed as questionable and if either were to miss it would increase the value and minutes that the other Cavs players could offer. The Cavaliers offense should run through Darius Garland (if active), Collin Sexton, and Jarrett Allen with Dean Wade being a good value option. More Cavaliers value options could open up depending on how news breaks later in the day so stay tuned.

Mo Bamba is listed as questionable ahead of Friday’s matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers. If Bamba is able to play he will likely backup Wendell Carter Jr. at center with Moe Wagner maybe seeing a few minutes. If he is unable to go Carter Jr. would be backed up mainly by a combination of Donta Hall and Moe Wagner. This is a tough matchup for the Magic with the 76ers likely having all of their star players available and with added motivation to clinch the eastern conference tonight.

Joel Embiid, Furkan Korkmaz, Shake Milton have all been listed as probable for Friday while Matisse Thybulle has been listed as questionable ahead of their matchup with the Orlando Magic. It looks like the 76ers will have all of their key pieces available when the look to clinch the eastern conference regular season crown aside from Dwight Howard who was suspended earlier in the day. If Embiid were to be downgraded to out Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris would becomne elite plays as we have seen be the case this season. If Korkmaz were to be downgraded all other 76ers guards would see a boost. Although the sixers are trying to clinch the division they should take care of the Magic fairly easily so the Philadelphia stars might not see their full minutes as the team prepares for a playoff run. Having said that it is entirely possible that they reach value even with limited minutes.

Aaron Gordon, Facundo Campazzo, and Paul Millsap have all been ruled out Friday for rest ahead of their matchup with the Detroit Pistons. Nikola Jokic is expected to play and Michael Porter Jr. is expected to return tonight after resting last night. We expect Monte Morris to get the start for Campazzo and see the majority of the point guard minutes with Shaq Harrison and Markus Howard likely seeing some run as well. With Aaron Gordon and Paul Millsap out Javale McGee who started last night might remain in the starting lineup and see some extra run with Vlatko Cancar, Zeke Nnaji and Bol Bol seeing some minutes off the bench. Despite all the resting bodies for the Nuggets they should take care of the Pistons tonight and have their offense run through Jokic (who remains a strong play despite the blowout risk) and Porter Jr.

Dwight Howard has been suspended 1 game for receiving his 16th technical foul of the season and will miss Friday’s contest against the Orlando Magic. With Howard out Mike Scott will become the primary backup center while Anthony Tolliver or Paul Reed could also see a few minutes. The 76ers are looking to clinch the eastern conference tonight and they seem to be in a prime spot to do so against the Magic who have struggled all season long. The 76ers offense should be run through Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, and Joel Embiid for however long they are on the court tonight.

Mike Conley said that he will have a minutes limit if he plays Friday when the Jazz take on the Oklahoma City Thunder but does not have any idea on what the minutes limit would be. We are projecting him for minutes in the mid 20s now which limits any potential upside that he had. With Conley restricted Jordan Clarkson could see a few more minutes off the bench and Miye Oni could enter the rotation. Maxi Kleber has been ruled out for Friday ahead of the Mavericks matchup with the Toronto Raptors. His absence will likely mean that Dwight Powell, Willie Cauley-Stein, Josh Green, and Nicolo Melli all see more minutes and oppurtunities. The Raptors will likely be resting most of their veterans at this point of the season so there is a potential for this game to blowout so that should be taken into account when rostering Dallas players. The Mavericks offense should be run through Luka Doncic and Kristaps but it is likely that he will remain on a minutes limit (22 minutes last game). Dwight Powell could see some increased value but it is tough to know for sure with how volatile his minutes have been as of late.
