Monte Morris (hamstring) likely to play Tuesday
Coach Malone has said that he believes Monte Morris will play on Tuesday when the Nuggets take on the Charlotte Hornets. Facundo Campazzo will likely continue to start but now will be backed up by Morris who joins Austin Rivers and Shaq Harrison as options to see guard minutes. Morris’s return will limit the upside that the other Denver guards enjoyed in his absence and Denver’s offense should be run primarily through Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon (probable), and Michael Porter Jr. who can all be considered tonight.

Coach Dwayne Casey said Josh Jackson is likely to play Tuesday while he believes Frank Jackson is not likely to play when the Pistons take on the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Pistons will most likely have nine available players without Frank Jackson and will be extremely thin at guard. Killian Hayes and Josh Jackson will likely start and be backed up by Saben Lee and Deividas Sirvydis as the only true guards available for Detroit. Killian Hayes, Josh Jackson, and Saben Lee should all be considered due to the amount of playing time they are expected to see and can be had at different price points on DK, Killian Hayes and Josh Jackson being mid range options and Saben Lee being a value option.

LeBron James who was expected to play has been ruled out Tuesday for the Lakers’ matchup with the New York Knicks. It was reported yesterday that Lebron would likely suit up tonight but reports have since come out saying that he will rest his ankle one more night and will try to play tomorrow against the Houston Rockets. This means the Lakers will be without their superstar for one more game and will have to run their offense mainly through Anthony Davis (probable), Andre Drummond, and Kyle Kuzma (probable). Alex Caruso will continue to run point and offer good value with Talen Horton-Tucker (probable) and the other Laker bench guards and wings seeing increased playing time and usage.

Jaren Jackson Jr. and Grayson Allen have been ruled out Tuesday while Jonas Valanciunas has been listed as doubtful ahead of the Grizzlies’ matchup with the Dallas Mavericks. With both Jackson and Valanciunas likely to miss the power forward and center positions become extremely thin for the Grizzlies. Xavier Tillman and Desmond Bane will likely join the starting lineup with Brandon Clarke and Killian Tillie getting the rest of the big man minutes vacated by Jackson and Valanciunas. With Jackson, Allen, and Valanciunas off the floor the big winners from an FPM perspective are Ja Morant (.12), De’Anthony Melton (.20), Dillon Brooks (.11), Clarke (.06), and Tillman (.03). Ja Morant should see most of the offense run through him and Tillman should be a great value play due to the increased workload he should see tonight especially if Valanciunas is downgraded further to out.

Malcolm Brogdon, Jeremy Lamb, and Edmond Sumner have all been ruled out Tuesday ahead of the Pacers’ matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers while JaKarr Sampson has been listed as questionable. With Brogdon and Sumner out the Pacers are down two starters which will likely mean Aaron Holiday and Doug McDermott will draw the start in their stead and TJ McConnell will see more minutes off the bench and all will see increased value. With Lamb still out Justin Holiday will also see increased run off the bench for the Pacers. If JaKarr Sampson is available he will likely help back up the center and power forward positions but could be limited and isn’t expected to see many minutes. The big winners with Brogdon, Sumner, and Lamb out are Caris LeVert and Sabonis who have seen their prices rise across the industry but for good reason as they continue to have big games, they draw a tough matchup tonight though with the 76ers.

Bruce Brown will be available to play Tuesday when the Nets take on the Chicago Bulls. Brown should see his normal minutes and most likely start for Brooklyn limiting the increased playing time and value that Landry Shamet could have seen if Brown were to miss. With James Harden still out Brooklyn’s other two superstars, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, will continue to carry the load for the Nets and be top spend up options on this slate as most of the Brooklyn offense will be run through them and they are playing in the game with the highest total Tuesday night.

Aron Baynes has been ruled out Tuesday when Toronto plays the Los Angeles Clippers and leaves the Raptors with nine available bodies including Chris Boucher who is currently questionable. Baynes was not expected to play much if at all tonight but his absence is note worth as the Raptors get closer to the minimum requirement of eight available players necessary to play a game. With Baynes out Khem Birch, Chris Boucher (if available), and Freddie Gillespie should see all the big man minutes while the offense should be run mostly through Gary Trent Jr and Malachi Flynn who should both be considered tonight with most of Toronto’s top players resting.

Robert Williams has officially been ruled out Tuesday when the Celtics take on the Miami Heat after being listed as doubtful on last night’s injury report. This was expected after Williams was unable to finish the Celtics’ last game due to a toe injury. Tristan Thompson should see the bulk of the center minutes without Williams and Luke Kornet should back him up with Grant Williams potentially seeing some run if the Celtics decide to play small. The Celtics will also be without Jaylen Brown as he is out for the remainder of the season and when we look at CourtIQ with Brown and Robert Williams off we see the main beneficiaries from an FPM increase are Kemba Walker (.09), Tristan Thompson (.05), Jayson Tatum (.04), and Marcus Smart (.02). Also it is worth noting that with Brown out Evan Fournier will remain in the starting lineup and should be considered in most DFS formats along with Tatum, Walker, and Smart. Tristan Thompson should also be considered now that Williams has been ruled out and will see a large increase in playing time.

Jaden McDaniels will be available to play Tuesday off the bench when the Timberwolves take on the Detroit Pistons after missing the last two games. In his absence Jarred Vanderbilt has started at power forward while being backed up by Juancho Hernangomez (questionable for today’s game) and Naz Reid. It is likely that Jarred Vanderbilt will continue to start with McDaniels coming off the bench and most likely on some sort of minutes limit. Until we learn more about the situation and playing time split between Vanderbilt and the returning McDaniels it is difficult to roster either, the Minnesota offense should continue to be run through D’Angelo Russell, Anthony Edwards, and Karl-Anthony Towns.

The Rockets will have a few more players in the frontcourt, as Olynyk will start in his return back. House gets the start as well at shooting guard; despite only playing 16 and 18 minutes the last two games, he gets the start but won’t have too high a ceiling likely.

Christian Wood (ankle) ruled out Monday; Kelly Olynyk (ankle) will play
The Rockets had two big men questionable, and will only be getting one back as they prepare to play the Portland Trail Blazers. Olynyk will play today after missing one game with an ankle injury, while Wood was ruled out due to an ankle injury and will miss his fourth game in a row. Olynyk should get the start at center, while KJ Martin and Jae’Sean Tate play the other forward positions. The Rockets will have 10 bodies available, as Cam Oliver was signed to a 10 day contract, and is available to make his debut. The prices of most of the Rockets have gone up, while they’ve got more bodies, so it’ll be tough to prioritize anyone other Olynyk, and even he’s risky as he may be limited as he returns from injury.

Oliver is available to make his Rockets debut Monday, giving the Rockets 10 available bodies. He’ll give the Rockets some frontcourt depth, and will take some minutes away from Olynyk, KJ Martin, and Jae’Sean Tate.

Huerter will join the starting lineup, as he takes the spot of the injured Tony Snell. De’Andre Hunter will play off the bench, and will be on a minutes restriction, as he’ll join Danilo Gallinari and Lou Williams as the key reserves. Huerter’s usage will likely go down as he joins the starting lineup, but his minutes will go up and could make him a valuable contrarian option for the Hawks in a high paced matchup.

Adams was downgraded from doubtful to out, and will miss his third straight game against the Memphis Grizzlies. It should lead to another start for Willy Hernnagomez, while Jaxson Hayes backs him up. Both players produced great last night despite splitting minutes right down the middle, but it’s most likely that whoever gets more minutes between the two will be a better play. The salaries of both have gone up, but Hayes is a bit cheaper and may be sneakier assuming he comes off the bench.
