Josh Jackson (illness) listed questionable Monday
Josh Jackson (illness) has been listed questionable Monday ahead of the Pistons matchup against the Atlanta Hawks. If Josh Jackson were to miss it is likely that Hamidou Diallo, Wayne Ellington, and Frank Jackson would absorb most of his minutes. The biggest benefactors from a FPM increase perspective would potentially be Cory Joseph (.07), Saddiq Bey (.05), and Frank Jackson (.05). We will have to stay tuned to see if Josh Jackson is able to suit up on Monday.

Danny Green (hip) listed questionable Monday
Danny Green (hip) has been listed as questionable Monday ahead of tonight’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder and joins Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, Furkan Korkmaz, and Paul Reed all of whom are questionable currently. The 76ers injury report is long and inconclusive so we can only speculate at this point but there could definitely be some value options in Philadelphia depending on how the news breaks. Korkmaz (if available), Matisse Thybulle, Shake Milton, and Tyrese Maxey stand the most to gain if Green is officially ruled out.

Russell Westbrook (right ankle sprain) and Robin Lopez (left ankle sprain) are both listed as questionable Monday while Bradley Beal and Rui Hachimura are not listed on injury report for when the Washington Wizards take on the San Antonio Spurs. If Russell Westbrook were to miss it would be likely that Ish Smith or Raul Neto would take his place in the starting lineup with all starters seeing a boost in usage and FPM due to the huge void that Russell Westbrook would leave. The main benefactors would be Bradley Beal (who would become a top play and sees a 6.3% usage rate increase and a massive .21 FPM bump), Daniel Gafford .19 FPM), Rui Hachimura (.15 FPM), and Raul Neto (.13 FPM). If Lopez were to miss Gafford and Len would be the benefactors and split the center minutes with Gafford being the much more intriguing play.

Collin Sexton will remain out Monday after missing last night’s game. With Sexton out we saw Cedi Osman step into the starting lineup and play considerable minutes (37) with Matthew Dellavedova also seeing increased run. The main beneficiaries from a usage rate standpoint with Sexton out are Jarrett Allen, Isaac Okoro, Darius Garland, and Kevin Love. It is worth noting that Jarrett Allen also sees a .12 FPM with Sexton off the floor when we look at CourtIQ. Both Allen and Osman become much better plays with Sexton off the floor.

Trae Young and Tony Snell remain out Monday when the Hawks take on the Detroit Pistons and Kris Dunn has been listed as probable and could make his season debut. We don’t expect Dunn to see much time but if he plays he will play some point guard minutes. With Young out we will most likely see Bogdan Bogdanovich (who started last night at the point) or Kevin Huerter start at the point with Brandon Goodwin and Lou Williams also seeing some time there. With Young out the biggest beneficiaries from a usage rate increase are John Collins (4.7%), Danilo Gallinari (3.9%), Bogdan Bogdanovich (3.2%) and Kevin Huerter (2.4%) all of whom also see a nice FPM increase with Bogdanovich seeing the biggest at .08. As long as Young remains out the Hawks just mentioned should be considered in DFS.

The Mavericks injury report is now up to six players listed as questionable ahead of Monday’s game with the Sacramento Kings. They could potentially be down four of their normal starters and one of their top bench guards with Dorian Finney-Smith and J.J. Redick being added to the list. Depending on who (if anyone) is actually ruled out the top targets would be Tim Hardaway Jr. and Jalen Brunson. There could be a ton of value with Dallas depending on how the news breaks but we might not know for a while as they play in the very last game of the slate. Right now all we can do is wait and hope we get more clarity before lock.

Lonnie Walker IV is questionable Monday after arriving to the arena with a headache prior to Monday’s matchup with the Washington Wizards. Rudy Gay is also questionable for Monday and if one or both were to miss tonight’s game their minutes would be split between Devin Vassell, Patty Mills, Luka Samanic, and Drew Eubanks with Keita Bates-Diop possibly getting whatever is left. If both are ruled out some of the Spurs could open up as potential value plays strictly due to increased playing time.

After previously being listed as out Ben Simmons has been upgraded to questionable for Monday’s matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder after missing the last four games due to illness. Joining him on the injury report listed as questionable are Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, Furkan Korkmaz, and Paul Reed. It would obviously be huge for Philadelphia if Simmons is able to return and huge for DFS purposes if he were to return and either Embiid or Harris to be ruled out. With either one of them off the court Simmons sees a usage rate increase and a FPM increase and could potentially be one of the better plays of the slate if he were able to return without a minutes restriction. If Simmons is able to suit up it would likely move George Hill to the backup point guard role and limit the minutes of Tyrese Maxey and Shake Milton and possibly force one of them out of the rotation.

As expected, Haliburton gets the start in place of De’Aaron Fox. Richaun Holmes also makes his way back into the starting lineup after missing five games. Haliburton is one of the best plays on the slate as he should smash in his new starting role.

Richaun Holmes (hamstring) will start Sunday; will have minutes restriction of 20 minutes
After missing five games due to a hamstring injury, Holmes was upgraded from questionable to available and will play against the Golden State Warriors. Coach Walton mentioned in his pre-game news conference that Holmes would be on a minute restriction of 20 minutes, and that he would be back in the starting lineup. This will move Hassan Whiteside to the bench, and he’ll compete for the remaining 28 center minutes with Damian Jones. The Kings will be without De’Aaron Fox, so there will certainly be more usage to be had, but Holmes likely won’t play enough to merit fantasy consideration quite yet.

The Pacers will run the same starting five as they did last game; Samspon and Brissett will start in the frontcourt for the Pacers. Sampson may end up playing more minutes than he did yesterday, as he dealt with foul trouble last night, but Brissett will get his minutes for sure.

The Pacers will have the same rotation as they did yesterday as they prepare to play the Orlando Magic. Bitadze and Lamb were both downgraded from questionable to out, while McDermott will play. With no Sabonis or Myles Turner, it’s likely the Pacers will start JaKarr Samspon at center again, while Oshae Brissett starts alongside him. Sampson only played 21 minutes yesterday, but did deal with some foul trouble. Both players will likely get serious run in the frontcourt, with Brissett averaging 40 minutes the last two games. This will also mean that Caris Levert and Malcolm Brogdon continue to get their heavy run, as they Pacers need scoring and have kept both of them on the floor for the majority of the time. With no Jeremy Lamb, more minutes should continue for Edmond Sumner and TJ McConnell. Overall though, Brissett is the biggest winner, along with Sampson.

As expected, Bacon will get the start in place of Ennis Sunday. He’s averaged 28 minutes the last three games, and could get a few more if the game stays competitive.

Carter Jr. will be on a minutes restriction tonight, according to acting head coach Tyrone Corbin. Carter will get the start, but possibly not his full allotment of minutes due to his ankle. It’s unclear how many minutes the restriction will be, but if he ends up losing out, Mo Bamba will pick up the bulk, while Donta Hall may play a few minutes as well.

After missing 12 games with a knee injury, Dotson was upgraded from questionable to available, and will be available against the Washington Wizards. With no Collin Sexton, there’s a chance Dotson could play in the first game back. His return may take some minutes away from Lamar Stevens, and possibly Matthew Dellavedova.
