Devonte' Graham listed available to play Tuesday

Devonte’ Graham listed available to play Tuesday. The Hornets will get one of their lead guards back, and Graham shouldn’t be expected to have his minutes limited relative to his normal workload. His return does eat mildly into Terry Rozier’s ceiling, but Rozier is still absolutely on the radar. Brad Wanamaker and the Martin twins are likely to see dips in playing time with Graham back in the lineup.

Kawhi Leonard (foot) ruled out for Tuesday

Kawhi Leonard (foot) ruled out for Tuesday. In typical Clippers fashion, they take a slow news day and toss a grenade down the rabbit hole. With Kawhi, Pat Beverley and Serge Ibaka off the floor this season, Paul George is averaging a 36% usage rate with a 1.38 FPPM rate, making him an elite play in all formats on Tuesday. Marcus Morris is averaging .92 FPPM in over 400 minutes with the aforementioned players off the floor this year, setting him up as one of the stronger mid-range plays at the SF/PF spot. Surprisingly, Reggie Jackson’s per-minute numbers have actually dropped slightly over a large sample in this split. Terrence Mann, Nic Batum and Luke Kennard also get upticks in this spot. Kennard averages .85 FPPM with Leonard, Beverley and Ibaka off the floor, but that rate drops to .7 FPPM with Paul George ON the floor. Reggie Jackson’s FPPM rate falls to .72 and Marcus Morris’ only dips to .85. Nic Batum has averaged .84 FPPM with George on and Kawhi/Pat/Serge all off.

James Johnson (right adductor strain) officially ruled out Tuesday

James Johnson (right adductor strain) officially ruled out Tuesday. He was doubtful coming in, so no surprise here and no change to our projections. Naji Marshall is likely to pick up a decent chunk of what Johnson left behind with James Nunnelly and Wes Iwundu also being bench options who could see a little extra run. Marshall is the only one with any amount of DFS appeal.

D'Angelo Russell's minutes limit is now "upwards of 30"; he will continue to come off the bench

D’Angelo Russell’s minutes limit is now “upwards of 30”; he will continue to come off the bench. This doesn’t necessarily mean Russell will step into 30+ minutes tonight – we currently have him projected for 28 minutes as a bench player. He’s going to be more involved then some of the starters, but given his recent stretch of games, projecting him for more than 30 minutes carries risk. He is still worth a look in tournaments given that he may see an uptick in this spot.

After being listed probable earlier today Schroder, Morris, and Drummond will start against the Utah Jazz Monday night.

After being listed probable earlier Conley and Gobert will be in the starting lineup tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Derrick Favors (knee) available to play Monday

Derrick Favors (knee) is available to play Monday and will likely reassume his role as the primary backup center to Rudy Gobert. With Ersan Ilyasova being ruled out earlier he should have little to no competition for these minutes.

Desmond Bane will enter the starting lineup for Dillon Brooks

Brandon Clarke, De'Anthony Melton, and Justise Winslow active Monday

Brandon Clarke, De’Anthony Melton, and Justise Winslow are all active Monday against the Denver Nuggets after being listed as questionable throughout the day. With Dillon Brooks out the Grizzlies should be able to split his minutes and starting role between Grayson Allen, Desmond Bane, Melton, and Winslow. It is unlikely any one player will take the majority of Brooks’ minutes but most Grizzlies will see a small boost with this deep of a bench.

Rudy Gobert and Mike Conley available Monday; Ersan Ilyasova ruled out; Derrick Favors questionable

As expected after being listed probable last night Mike Conley and Rudy Gobert will be available for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers. We should expect to see them return to the starting lineup and get their normal minutes. This will likely push Jordan Clarkson back to his bench role and Joe Ingles will likely see his increased usage with Conley and Gobert off the floor return to more normal levels. With Ilyasova ruled out Derrick Favors would not have any competition in making his return to the primary backup center role if he is available to play tonight.

Andre Drummond, Dennis Schroder, and Markieff Morris available to play Monday; Marc Gasol available but unlikely to play

Andre Drummond, Dennis Schroder, Markieff Morris, and Marc Gasol as expected when listed as probable last night will be available tonight when the Lakers take on the Utah Jazz. This will limit the value that other Lakers players have seen when they have been off the court. The players that could have seen the biggest bump were Kyle Kuzma, Talen Horton-Tucker, Montrezl Harrell and Alex Caruso. With Drummond, Schroder, Morris, and Gasol being available to play all Laker players should expect to see their normal minutes and usage with most of the offense running through Schroder, Drummond, and Kuzma.

Dillon Brooks (thigh) ruled out Monday

Dillon Brooks (thigh) has been ruled out for Monday’s game with the Denver Nuggets. With Dillon Brooks out the Grizzlies should be able to split his minutes and starting role between Grayson Allen, Desmond Bane, De’Anthony Melton (if available), and Justise Winslow (if available). It is unlikely any one player will take the majority of Brooks’ minutes but most Grizzlies will see a small boost with this deep of a bench. When looking at CourtIQ the main beneficiaries of Brooks’ absence from an FPM increase perspective will be Allen (.07), Melton (.04), Morant (.03), Xavier Tillman (.03), and Killian Tillie (.02).

Saric will get the starting nod over Jae Crowder on Monday against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee) ruled out Monday

As expected after being listed as doubtful Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee) remains out Monday for the Grizzlies game with the Denver Nuggets.

Pacers will start Brogdon, Sumner, LeVert, Oshae Brissett, Bitadze on Monday. With Sabonis and Turner out of the starting lineup due to injury Brissett makes his first start and Bitadze also joins the starting lineup. Interestingly Justin Holiday is absent and Edmond Sumner will draw the start in his place. There has been no mention of Holiday on any injury report leading up to this.
