Marvin Bagley (wrist) will play Sunday; Hassan Whiteside (hip) ruled out
Bagley has officially been upgraded from questionable and will play in Sunday’s matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans despite dealing with a sore right wrist, while Whiteside will miss a second consecutive game with left hip soreness. The last time Whiteside was unavailable Chimezie Metu absorbed the available backup center minutes and was stellar for daily fantasy purposes in limited action, but head coach Luke Walton already reiterated that he plans to get Nemanja Bjelica back into the rotation at some point following several DNP-CDs over the previous few games. As for Bagley, there have been no reports of a potential minute restriction, so he should be fine to handle his usual minute allotment this evening.
As reported by: James Ham via Twitter Other tagged players: Hassan WhitesideMyles Turner (hand) listed out Sunday
Turner was added to the Pacers’ injury report and is now listed out for Sunday’s matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers due to a sore right hand, while JaKarr Sampson and Goga Bitadze have been upgraded to questionable with their respective ailments. If neither Sampson nor Bitadze is cleared to play, the Pacers could wind up extremely thin in the frontcourt, which would likely force Domantas Sabonis, who is already among the lead leaders in minutes, to absorb a large portion of the vacated center minutes in tonight’s contest. On the other hand, if available, Sampson likely becomes the leading candidate to start alongside Sabonis in the frontcourt, though he typically doesn’t receive the necessary playing time to become relevant in daily fantasy formats when he starts since Doug McDermott, Justin Holiday, and a surplus of guards are plenty capable of filling out the rotation with Sabonis likely primarily manning the five this evening.
As reported by: NBA Official Injury ReportCam Reddish (knee) ruled out Saturday
Reddish has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Saturday’s matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers due to a left knee contusion, while Trae Young will be available to play following his original probable designation on the Hawks’ injury report with back tightness. There haven’t been any reports of a potential minute restriction for Young on the second leg of a back-to-back set, so he should be expected to handle his usual allotment of playing time in tonight’s contest. As for the absence of Reddish, head coach Lloyd Pierce already confirmed that Kevin Huerter will receive the starting nod alongside Young in the backcourt, and his vacated minutes in the second unit could be picked up by the likes of Solomon Hill, Brandon Goodwin, or Tony Snell this evening.
As reported by: Chris Kirschner via TwitterJa Morant (ankle) will play Saturday
Morant has officially been upgraded from questionable and will start in Saturday’s matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers after missing just over two weeks due to a sprained left ankle. The return of Morant this soon is a bit of a surprise as he originally was slapped with a three-to-five week timetable to recover from the aforementioned injury, so while he won’t be subject to a specific minute restriction, head coach Taylor Jenkins did admit to reporters that they need to be smart with his minutes in his first game back from an extended absence. Additionally, Morant’s presence in the first unit will send Tyus Jones back to the bench and creates a bit of a log jam at the guard positions with Jones, De’Anthony Melton, Grayson Allen, and Desmond Bane all likely competing for reserve minutes moving forward.
As reported by: Adrian Wojnarowski via TwitterGordon Hayward (hip) will start Saturday
Shortly after being upgraded to probable from questionable on the Hornets’ injury report, Hayward has now been cleared to play and will start in Saturday’s matchup against the Toronto Raptors after missing one game due to a strained left hip. There haven’t been any reports of a potential minute restriction for Hayward, so he should be expected to handle his usual minute allotment in tonight’s contest. Additionally, Hayward’s presence in the first unit will send Caleb Martin back to the bench to resume a reserve role following his solid fantasy outing as a spot starter, while one of Cody Martin or Malik Monk will likely find themselves on the outside-looking-in at a rotation spot and could be a DNP-CD this evening.
As reported by: the Charlotte Hornets via TwitterTyler Herro (neck) ruled out Saturday
Herro has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Saturday’s matchup against the Detroit Pistons due to neck spasms, while every other Heat player that had been listed as questionable on the injury report will be available to play in tonight’s contest. However, Miami is still without Jimmy Butler, Meyers Leonard, and Avery Bradley, Gabe Vincent will receive a third consecutive start at point guard while KZ Okpala will slide into the first unit as the small forward alongside Duncan Robinson on the wing. There haven’t been any reports of a potential minute restriction for the returning players, so someone like Bam Adebayo should be expected to handle their usual allotment of minutes if he starts this evening.
As reported by: Tim Reynolds via TwitterEric Bledsoe (eye) available to play Friday
Bledsoe has officially been upgraded from questionable and will be available to play in Friday’s matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers after missing one game due to right eye irritation, while Zion Williamson will also make his return from a one-game absence because of the NBA’s health and safety protocols. However, head coach Stan Van Gundy already disclosed to reporters that Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Josh Hart will remain in the starting lineup for a second straight contest, which begs the question if Bledsoe will even see playing time off the bench. It’s also certainly possible that Bledsoe is healthy enough to play, but Alexander-Walker just earned the starting job for now following his phenomenal fantasy performance in Wednesday’s loss.
As reported by: Jim Eichenhofer via TwitterPatrick Beverley (personal) and Lou Williams (hip) ruled out Friday
Beverley has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t be available to play in Friday’s matchup against the Sacramento Kings as he remains away from the team as he tends to a personal matter, while Williams will also be held out with left hip discomfort despite going through shootaround earlier in the day. In their absences, Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue already confirmed that Reggie Jackson will receive the starting nod at point guard, and he should have a substantial minute floor with Terrance Mann as the only other playable point guard on the active roster. If Mann only serves as the backup to Jackson, it’s also possible players like Luke Kennard or Marcus Morris see additional run at the wing and forwards positions this evening.
As reported by: Andrew Greif via Twitter Other tagged players: Lou WilliamsDarius Bazley (ankle) will play Friday
Bazley has officially been upgraded from questionable and will play in Friday’s matchup against the Chicago Bulls despite dealing with a sprained right ankle, while Al Horford was a late addition to the Thunder’s injury report as he is currently away from the team tending to a personal matter, The first time Horford was held out in a back-to-back situation, Isaiah Roby ended up receiving the starting nod at the center position and was stellar for fantasy purposes in 28 minutes of action as a member of the first unit, and he was on pace for a similar output last time out before being pulled in garbage time. In those contests, Mike Muscala and Aleksej Pokusevski remained in relatively limited reserve roles as they each saw fewer than 20 minutes off the bench despite Horford’s unavailability.
As reported by: Joe Mussatto via TwitterReggie Bullock (hip) will start Friday
As expected, Bullock has officially been upgraded from probable and will start in Friday’s matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers after missing two games due to a sore right hip. The Knicks will still be without Alec Burks and Frank Ntilikina because of their respective ailments, but Bullock’s return will still provide some depth at the wing positions and may even cut into Austin Rivers’ playing time at the shooting guard spot as he’s started and logged at least 34 minutes of action in each of the previous two contests. However, head coach Tom Thibodeau continues to play his starters heavy minutes, so it’ll be interesting to see how Bullock and rookie Obi Toppin are implemented back into the rotation over the next few games.

As reported by: Chris Fedor via TwitterAl Horford (personal) listed out Friday
Horford is a late addition to the Thunder’s injury report and has officially been ruled out of Friday’s matchup against the Chicago Bulls as he is currently away from the team tending to a personal matter, while Darius Bazley remains questionable with a sprained right ankle he sustained in Wednesday’s blowout loss. The first time Horford was held out in a back-to-back situation, Isaiah Roby ended up receiving the starting nod at the center position and was stellar for fantasy purposes in 28 minutes of action as a member of the first unit, and he was on pace for a similar output last time out before being pulled in garbage time. In those contests, Mike Muscala and Aleksej Pokusevski remained in relatively limited reserve roles as they each saw fewer than 20 minutes off the bench despite Horford’s unavailability.
As reported by: NBA Official Injury ReportReggie Bullock (hip) upgraded to probable Friday
Bullock has officially been upgraded from questionable and is now listed as probable on the Knicks’ injury report for Friday’s matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers due to a sore right hip that has already forced him to miss two games. The Knicks will still be without Alec Burks and Frank Ntilikina because of their respective ailments, but Bullock’s likely return will provide some depth at the wing positions and may even cut into Austin Rivers’ playing time at the shooting guard spot as he’s started and logged at least 34 minutes of action in each of the previous two contests. However, head coach Tom Thibodeau continues to play his starters heavy minutes, so it’ll be interesting to see how Bullock and rookie Obi Toppin are implemented back into the rotation over the next few games.
As reported by: NBA Official Injury ReportGary Harris (personal) ruled out Thursday
Harris has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t be available to play in Thursday’s matchup against the Golden State Warriors as he continues to be away from the team tending to a personal matter that has now forced him to miss two consecutive games. In his absence, Bol Bol ended up receiving the starting nod alongside Will Barton on the wing, but he was limited to just 16 minutes as a member of the starting lineup in Tuesday’s loss. Given the strength of head coach Mike Malone’s second unit, it’s difficult to imagine Bol seeing a significantly different minute allotment in tonight’s contest and expect PJ Dozier, JaMychal Green, and Monte Morris to pick up the remaining vacated minutes created by Harris’ unavailability.
As reported by: Mike Singer via TwitterGordon Hayward (hip) officially out Thursday
As expected, Hayward has officially been downgraded from doubtful and won’t play in Thursday’s matchup against the Toronto Raptors due to a strained left hip. In his absence, Miles Bridges or one of the Martin twins are the likeliest candidates to join the starting lineup at small forward unless head coach James Borrego finally fully embraces his three-guard lineup by inserting LaMelo Ball into the first unit alongside Terry Rozier and Devonte’ Graham in tonight’s contest. However, either way, Ball should have a higher minute floor than normal and becomes an intriguing option for daily fantasy formats across the industry this evening.
