De'Andre Hunter

Sacramento Kings
12/08/19, 4:58 PM ET

De’Andre Hunter (finger) and Allen Crabbe (knee) will play Sunday

Hunter has officially been upgraded from questionable and will play off the bench in Sunday’s matchup against the Charlotte Hornets after missing one game due to a dislocated right index finger, while Crabbe will also be good to go, as expected. Head coach Lloyd Pierce already confirmed that Cam Reddish and Kevin Huerter will receive the starts on the wing, but both Huerter and Crabbe will be subject to restrictions of 25-minutes apiece. However, the Hawks have already demonstrated plenty of times this season that these limitations aren’t indicative of how much playing time a specific player will receive on a given night, and it will be difficult for all three of Crabbe, Huerter, and Hunter to approach the 25-minute mark this evening.

Patrick Patterson (back) out Sunday

Patterson has been added to the Clippers’ injury report and won’t play in Sunday’s matchup against the Washington Wizards due to back spasms, while JaMychal Green remains questionable with a tailbone contusion that has already forced him to miss two games. Patterson was allotted 26 minutes in the first game with Green sidelined, but in Friday’s blowout loss, he saw just seven minutes off the bench in the first half with Mfiondu Kabengale and the other Clippers fringe rotation players logging nearing a full quarter of garbage time run. Kabengale has amassed just 32.6 minutes on the season, but he would more than likely step into the backup power forward role if Green is unable to suit up, and he is averaging 1.02 DraftKings and 1.01 FanDuel points per minute in that limited time.

Matisse Thybulle

Los Angeles Lakers

Matisse Thybulle (ankle) questionable Sunday

Thybulle is officially questionable and is expected to be a game-time decision for Sunday’s matchup against the Toronto Raptors due to a sprained right ankle, while Joel Embiid will return from a one-game absence for injury recovery management. Thybulle was one of the first players off the bench in Saturday’s massive blowout win, but he was limited to just nine minutes before exiting with his aforementioned ailment. He was replaced by Trey Burke, who went on to log 27 minutes and was apart of the bench unit that played the entire fourth quarter in garbage time. Head coach Brett Brown hasn’t been shy about playing Burke alongside Ben Simmons in the regular rotation, so there’s a strong possibility that he absorbs most, if not all, of Thybulle’s vacated playing time if he’s unable to suit up this evening.

Delon Wright

Indiana Pacers

Delon Wright (adductor) listed out Sunday

Wright is currently listed out in the Mavericks’ game notes for Sunday’s matchup against the Sacramento Kings due to a strained right adductor he sustained in the first quarter of Saturday’s blowout win. Depending on the night, Wright can see minutes anywhere between the high-teens and mid-20s, so there will certainly be a sizable amount of playing time available for the remaining members of the wing and guard rotations this evening. However, head coach Rick Carlisle can have one of the most frustrating rotations in the entire league, but some combination of Seth Curry, Jalen Brunson, and Justin Jackson should form a committee to absorb the aforementioned minutes, even though it may be difficult to pinpoint which will be the best value on tonight’s slates.

Kawhi Leonard

LA Clippers

Nut Matchup, High Floor

It’s going to be hard for Kawhi Leonard and Paul George to realize their fantasy ceilings when sharing the court but it’s tough to look away from a matchup against the Wizards. Washington is the dream matchup as they play at the third-fastest pace and own the worst defensive rating in the league. Leonard’s price has fallen due to an average stretch of fantasy performances but the matchup gives him one of the highest floors on the slate.

Montrezl Harrell

Key Reserve In Smash Spot

We just saw the Clippers destroy the Wizards a few games ago, and Montrezl Harrell finished with 40+ fantasy points in just 27 mins. I’m not saying this game will blowout again and that Harrell will see garbage time run, but he’s a key piece in this rotation regardless and the Wizards have nobody to defend him. The Wizards have no Thomas Bryant, Ian Mahimni slowing working his way back from an Achilles injury and have used rookie Rui Hachimura as their backup center at times. I like Harrell’s chances of having success once again.

Jimmy Butler

Golden State Warriors
12/08/19, 11:16 AM ET

Revenge In Thinning Backcourt

The Heat have no Goran Dragic or Dion Waiters, while Justise Winslow remains questionable. The Winslow news is big as that would force Butler, Kendrick Nunn and Tyler Herro into massive minutes. Butler would be the primary focus on offense and gets a great spot against his former team. There are a lot of stars I want to pay up for today but Butler has a chance to match their performance at a slightly lower price point if Winslow gets ruled out. I still love the play if Winslow is in, but this is a spot you’ll want to monitor for injury news.
