Danuel House Will Start Tonight for Rockets, Ben McLemore Back to the Bench

Danuel House Jr. will return to the starting lineup tonight for the Houston Rockets. Ben McLemore returns to his role off the bench after starting the past three games. The Rockets have a massive 126 implied total tonight, so there will be plenty of production to go around.

Mike Conley

Boston Celtics
12/07/19, 2:13 PM ET

Mike Conley is OUT tonight with hamstring soreness

The Jazz will be without Mike Conley (Hamstring) for tonight’s game versus Memphis. Joe Ingles will likely start in Conley’s place. Last game with Conley out, Emmanuel Mudiay and Dante Exum didn’t see any extra run.

Wayne Ellington

Los Angeles Lakers
12/07/19, 1:17 PM ET

Wayne Ellington (sore left Achilles) is out for tonight’s home game against Indiana.

Wayne Ellington will miss tonight’s game versus Indiana with a sore left Achilles. The loss of Ellington has real no fantasy impact, but look for Damyean Dotson and Allonzo Trier to pick up Ellington minutes.

Jonas Valanciunas

Denver Nuggets
12/07/19, 11:06 AM ET

Super Size Me

The Grizzlies are going to need JoVal tonight against Rudy Gobert, making him one of my conviction plays and someone I’d want to be overweight on relative to the field. JoVal missed some time due to health issues but has had a few days to heal up. Teammates Brandon Clarke (out) and Jaren Jackson Jr. (too handsy and can’t stop fouling people) aren’t solutions against Gobert, meaning I’d expect Valanciunas to get all the run he can handle. I love Valanciunas in tournaments with people not wanting to go here in a tough matchup.

Al Horford

Golden State Warriors
12/07/19, 10:59 AM ET

Usage Bump For Star

With Joel Embiid resting on the front end of this B2B, this seems like a spot where Al Horford will see an expanded role and likely rest on Sunday. Per CourtIQ, when Joel Embiid and Josh Richardson have been off the court this season, Al Horford averages 1.3 fantasy points per minute, while Tobias Harris is at 1.2 and Ben Simmons is at 1.1 I like his price across the industry and consider him a core play.

De'Anthony Melton

Golden State Warriors
12/07/19, 10:58 AM ET

Potential Extended Run For Guard

Melton is my favorite off-the-wall play today, as he’s been playing a ton lately with Ja Morant out. Kyle Anderson is doubtful and Dillon Brooks is questionable. If Brooks gets ruled out or is going to see a reduced workload due to his health, it’s always possible Melton gets some extended run or maybe even gets to play alongside Tyus Jones in two-guard sets. He’s been playing so well lately that he’s someone I’d look to in GPPs today.

Mitchell Robinson

Boston Celtics
12/07/19, 10:56 AM ET

Let's Get Weird

It’s a short four-game slate. The Knicks just fired Coach Fizdale and named Mike Miller their interim coach. Miller is a former Coach of the Year winner in the G-League and the Knicks also added Keith Bogans to his staff, also from the G-League. It feels like the team may be moving towards a youth movement where development is important the rest of this season. This brings me to Mitchell Robinson, who got extended run last game due to the blowout and had a solid game. I’m not considering Robinson in cash games, but in GPPs, I would absolutely take shots on him.
