Head coach Lloyd Pierce confirmed with reporters at Hawks’ shootaround that Parker and Turner to play in Wednesday’s matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks despite both players currently being listed as questionable on the injury report. Turner recently returned from a lengthy injury absence, and he’s logged precisely 15 minutes in both of his appearances off the bench in the previous two games. As for Parker, he’s settled into a role in the low-30s in terms of minutes as a starter following the suspension of John Collins, and he’s currently second on the Hawks with a 25.3% usage rate and is averaging 1.13 DraftKings and 1.13 FanDuel points per minute on the season thus far.

Affordable Value
Tristan Thompson has already been ruled out today, while Larry Nance is questionable. If both are sidelined, the Cavs are very thin at power forward and center. Osman was no match on the interior in the last game. This would almost guarantee heavy minutes for Ante Zizic as the only healthy big man on the roster. He has been effective in previous stints when the minutes are there and will likely be a popular value. There’s double-double potential with upside here.
The Next NBA Star
Luka Doncic has become an NBA star in a hurry. It is amazing how quickly he has transformed into one of the game’s best players, and he truly has a chance to become an all time great if he stays healthy. Remember, he is just 20 years old!! That’s incredible. He looked almost effortless in posting a 42/11/12 triple-double his last time out, and he should have his way with an injury ravaged Warriors squad tonight. The only risk is a potential blowout, but Doncic is an elite GPP upside option with his ability to contribute in every statistical category.
Trevor Ariza (groin) out Tuesday
Despite being listed as probable, Ariza won’t play in Tuesday’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns due to a sore right groin. Ariza returned to the lineup following a one-game absence in Sunday’s loss, but he was limited to just 15 minutes off the bench, which enabled Bogdan Bogdanovic and Nemanja Bjelica to log greater than 30 minutes in that contest, a positive sign for both of their projected fantasy values this evening. Bogdanovic has been the clear beneficiary thus far with De’Aaron Fox sidelined, as he owns a 27.6% usage rate, 35.5% assist rate, and is averaging 1.18 DraftKings and 1.16 FanDuel points per minute with him off the court thus far this season.

With Rubio sidelined for Monday’s win, Jevon Carter ended up receiving the start at point guard, but he ultimately shared those minutes in an even timeshare with Tyler Johnson, while Elie Okobo was responsible for soaking up garbage time duty. In Baynes’ absence, either Kaminsky or Cheick Diallo will more than likely receive the start at the center position this evening. With Rubio sidelined for Monday’s win, Jevon Carter ended up receiving the start at point guard, but he ultimately shared those minutes in an even timeshare with Tyler Johnson, while Elie Okobo was responsible for soaking up garbage time duty. Head coach Billy Donovan already confirmed that Ferguson will remain in the starting lineup in tonight’s contest after logging at least 35 minutes in each of the previous two contests, while Abel Nader and Deonte Burton will pick up the slack on the wing with Diallo missing from the second unit.

We are still projecting Derrick Favors and Jahlil Okafor to miss tonight’s game, which means ample opportunity for Jaxson Hayes. With the starting spot last night, Hayes played 32 minutes and grabbed a double-double. The price tags around all sites have not adjusted to this new set of circumstances for the big man, so he is a cash game friendly player tonight.
Plenty of Usage up for Grabs for Portland
Damian Lillard is set to miss tonight’s game and that should open things up for Portland. The next point guard in line is Anfernee Simons. Lillard has played all of his minutes at the PG position this year, and Simons has been the guy to relieve him of those duties when Lillard is off the court. Simons sees his usage jump over 5% when Lillard is off the court, and the minutes should be hefty tonight.

Lillard has been included on the Trail Blazers’ injury report and won’t play in Tuesday’s second leg of a back-to-back set against the New Orleans Pelicans due to back spasms. There’s yet to be any reports of who will replace Lillard in the starting lineup, but head coach Terry Stotts could go in several directions with Anfernee Simons, Kent Bazemore, and possible even Carmelo Anthony being the likeliest candidates to receive the starting nod. Unsurprisingly, C.J. McCollum leads the Blazers with a 28.4% usage rate and 26.0% assist rate with Lillard off the court this season, but Simons and Bazemore both have seen a +5.0% or greater increase in usage rate while averaging at least 0.92 DraftKings and 0.86 FanDuel points per minute in the aforementioned scenario.

Head coach Doc Rivers confirmed with reporters during his pregame media availability that Beverley will play in Monday’s matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder after missing two games due to a sore left calf, while Kawhi Leonard will remain sidelined for a third straight contest with a knee issue. There’s been no report of a specific minute restriction for Beverley, so he’ll presumably resume his normal starting point guard role, which will send Terrance Mann back to the bench. As for Paul George, he’ll continue to have his minutes monitored by Rivers and the Clippers coaching staff after averaging just 22.2 minutes in his first two games, but Rivers did admit that George would likely play between 28-30 minutes this evening.
