Josh Richardson, Rodney McGruder, and Justise Winslow are expected to play
Rodney McGruder, Josh Richardson and Justise Winslow will all play tonight, although coach Spoelstra indicated that they may not receive heavy minutes. This does alter the rotations somewhat though, and going up against a tough defensive match up with Boston makes most Heat players a tough sell.

Taurean Prince and Alex Len will start
Taurean Prince and Alex Len will start and neither will be on a minutes limit. This takes a lot of Hawks wings out of contention, and decreases our interest in Deyonta Davis. You can consider Prince and Len alongside fellow starters Trae Young and John Collins.

Only Vince Carter has been ruled out, everyone else gets the murky “available” tag. This is not great news if you were hunting for Hawks value, but does not necessarily rule out using John Collins or Len. With Prince muddling the wing a bit, I would be less enticed by using Bazemore or Justin Anderson on a 12 game slate. Davis is still a potential value if you think Len finds his way to foul trouble, but less interesting than if Len was out.

Kennard might not be in play himself, but he takes a lot of the wind out of Wayne Ellington’s sails. With Kennard playing and Griffin not, your Pistons interest should be concentrated mainly on Drummond, Jackson, and Thon Maker.

It feels like deja vu with Griffin missing another game against the Pacers this week. Andre Drummond and Reggie Jackson should lead the charge, but don’t count out Thon Maker who was very active and played 42 minutes in Monday’s game. On the other side of the game, all of Myles Turner, Thad Young and Domantas Sabonis had excellent games Monday, and that should work out similarly today. Wayne Ellington also had a great game on Monday but that had more to do with Luke Kennard being out, and he is somehow now back despite the doubtful tag on the earlier injury report.

Gerald Green is not on the Rockets injury report, and while this may not have much DFS impact it could cut into the production of Eric Gordon, who might be given some consideration otherwise. Green himself is likely not a candidate to make much of a DFS impact.

The Bulls will be without five guys tonight, and Sampson played 29 minutes in his first game with the Bulls on Monday. I think he’s still risky on DraftKings, but with the drop score options on FanDuel, he’s a must for me over there. If he gets 25+ minutes against Washington, he should have no problem crushing value at this price.
Increased Minutes Because Of Injury
Rabb’s minutes have been all over the place, but with Valanciunas out for the season, it seems like a great spot for Rabb to play more minutes. I like Rabb even more if we get news that Joakim Noah isn’t going to play. In the beginning of April, Rabb had four games where he played at least 27 minutes, and he scored at least 25 fantasy points in each of those games.
Organizational Change Adds Intrigue To Late Season Game
A new era begins in Washington tonight as the team mercifully fired longtime GM Ernie Grunfeld yesterday. While the Wizards will likely remain non-competitive well into the next decade as it struggles to deal with the league’s worst contracts and a lack of draft picks, in the immediate future the team is favored by 10 points tonight as it plays Chicago at home in a game with a Vegas point total of 226. Bradley Beal is making a run at the All-NBA team, which would enable him to sign a Supermax extension, averaging 28.4 points, 6.1 assists, and 5.2 rebounds since the All-Star Break. On the Bulls side, Chicago-native Walt Lemon, Jr, has added some interest to the end of the season, averaging 12.5 points, 5.5 assists, and 3.5 steals in his first two games.

Minutes Are Up
We have a lot of value options on this slate, and I like the idea of being different with one of my cheap guys. Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot has played 26+ minutes in three of the last four games, and with everyone out for the Bulls, I’d expect him to see around the same minutes tonight. He had a good shooting night against the 76ers, and we saw his upside in that game. It’s always about hitting shots, but I like the low ownership with the potential of being a great value play in this matchup.
Allonzo Trier has been ruled out
With Trier ruled out, it should mean plenty of minutes for Emmanuel Mudiay and Damyean Dotson, each of whom saw 35+ minutes on Monday. They will never provide the most efficient stat lines, but at that sort of volume, it may be tough pass up.

While Green himself doesn’t have a ton of DFS impact, it is one less body to compete with Bobby Portis and Jabari Parker, and we can give them a look here, especially going up against their former team. Getting the confirmation that Beal is playing is also helpful, as he obviously has the most DFS upside on the team.

Kris Dunn did not go through shootaround and is already listed as doubtful. This would mean more opportunity for everyone’s favorite new to Walt Lemon Jr, as well as Jakarr Sampson (Jakarr Sampson!!!), Ryan Aricdiacono, and Shaquille Harrison. We’ll want to monitor Dunn’s status until lock.
As reported by: KC Johnson Luka Doncic is expected to play
Doncic is always in consideration when he is playing, and although the Mavs are doing their best to lose basketball games, Luka is still very much in contention for Rookie of the Year honors, so there should be some motivation there. The Timberwolves don’t offer much resistance and Luka’s all-around game could prove to be too much for them. Doncic is squarely in play tonight. Dorian Finney-Smith is also out tonight, which does have much DFS impact, other than the fact that those are his initials.

With Marcus Morris already out, and Jaylen Brown now joining him as out, this will mean plenty of opportunity for Al Horford to operate in the low post as well as grab boards (Horford had a triple double last time out, so it’s not like he needed MORE opportunity). It may also lead to an increase in minutes for Gordon Hayward, and perhaps some increased usage on the starting unit from Jayson Tatum. Aron Baynes may be in play as a secondary consideration if the Celtics want an additional large body to contend with Bam Adebayo and Hassan Whiteside.
