Deandre Ayton (ankle) will play Saturday

No surprise here as he was listed probable earlier in the day, but Deandre Ayton will play Saturday vs the Grizzlies. That said, it is not an appealing spot for the Suns rookie, squaring off against solid post-defender Marc Gasol in a pace-down game against Memphis.

Marc Gasol (neck) will play Saturday

Marc Gasol will play Saturday despite his neck injury. Gasol should see his normal allotment of minutes and usage as he looks to shut down rookie Deandre Ayton in a pace-down matchup vs the Suns.

Dillon Brooks (foot) available to play Saturday

Dillon Brooks is available to play Saturday for the Grizzlies, though Kyle Anderson will still be starting. Look for Brooks to see close to his usual allotment of minutes against an exploitable Suns defense.

Anthony Davis (elbow) ruled out Saturday

Anthony Davis has been officially ruled out Saturday due to an elbow sprain. Look for Julius Randle to start in his place, with he and Nikola Mirotic playing all the minutes they can handle for the Pelicans. Jrue Holiday will see a huge usage bump with Davis off the floor as well, though the Pelicans offense as a whole can certainly be expected for less production in Davis’s absence.

Tony Parker (rest) ruled out Saturday

Tony Parker has been ruled out Saturday for rest purposes. Parker had been picking up 15-20 minutes per game in a backup PG role, so look for Malik Monk and Dwayne Bacon to possibly pick up a few extra minutes in Parker’s absence.

Kevin Love (foot) ruled out Saturday. Sam Dekker to start.

Kevin Love has been ruled out Saturday due to a foot injury. Sam Dekker will start in his place, and every Cavs player will see a usage bump in Love’s absence. However, the offense as a whole will see a downgrade without their top scorer, and there is definitely blowout risk against the Pacers.

Joel Embiid (ankle) a game-time decision Saturday

Daniel Theis (foot) available to play Saturday

Daniel Theis is available to play Saturday despite his foot issue. With Aron Baynes already ruled out for the contest, expect Theis to pick up a few extra minutes backing up Al Horford at the center position for the Celtics.

Anthony Davis (elbow) a game-time decision Saturday

Updating the earlier report, Anthony Davis is being listed as a game-time decision Saturday due to his elbow injury. Look for Julius Randle and Nikola Mirotic to see heavy minutes and usage if Davis is unable to suit up.

Anthony Davis (elbow) questionable Saturday

Anthony Davis has been added to the injury report and is listed as questionable Saturday due to a sprained elbow. If Davis is unable to suit up look for Julius Randle to play heavy minutes and become one of the most popular value plays on the slate, despite the difficult matchup against the Utah Jazz. Nikola Mirotic would also be in line for as heavy of minutes as he can handle in Davis’s absence.

Big Upgrade Tonight

While Josh Jackson will be the first guy plugged into lineups with Devin Booker ruled out tonight, Warren may ultimately be the best play. He should be looking at plenty of added minutes and shots and saw a substantial usage increase to 28.4% last season when he wasn’t on the floor with Booker. He’s coming off a bad game, but has already flashed monster upside when he went for 44 DK points in just 24 minutes against the Warriors. The matchup is also great, as Memphis has given up big games to forwards such as Nemanja Bjelica and Taurean Prince.

Ryan Anderson (hip) now probable Saturday

Ryan Anderson is listed as probable Saturday despite his hip injury. Look for Anderson to see his usual minute allotment, and possibly see a few more shots in the absence of Devin Booker.

Deandre Ayton (ankle) now probable Saturday

Deandre Ayton is now listed as probable Saturday despite his ankle injury. Look for Ayton to see his usual workload in a difficult matchup against the Grizzlies and solid post-defender Marc Gasol.

MUST PLAY STATUS TONIGHT

Devin Booker has been ruled out for tonight’s game, and Jackson was the main beneficiary last season under the same circumstances and was chosen as the starter at when Booker was out during the preseason. With Booker off the floor last season, Jackson had a 28.1% Usage Rate and averaged close to a fantasy point per minute. He should see around 30-to-35 minutes tonight and is a must play on all sites for me tonight.
