Danilo Gallinari (knee) and Wilson Chandler (groin) ruled out for Saturday; Darrell Arthur (knee) listed as doubtful
Danilo Gallinari and Wilson Chandler will miss another game due to their respective injuries and Gallinari was replaced by Juancho Hernangomez in the starting lineup. Wednesday was Gallinari’s first absence due to a bruised knee and Chandler has missed two games due to the groin issue. Mason Plumlee has started in place Chandler and continues to be a strong contributor. Plumlee has scored over 30 fantasy points in three consecutive games and has played over 30 minutes in back-to-back contests. Will Barton made the most of Gallinari’s injury and has also played well in consecutive games. He’ll be a popular option on Saturday against the Rockets. Kenneth Faried is being listed as probable after he played 18 minutes on Wednesday. Darrell Arthur is being listed as doubtful but he’s not a major part of the rotation.

Trevor Booker OUT for Brooklyn tonight; Sean Kilpatrick and Joe Harris remain out
Booker sat out Thursday’s game for what the team called rest purposes but he’s been ruled out a second straight night making it seem like there is an injury concern. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is one of the top options in DFS with Booker out. Sean Kilpatrick and Joe Harris also remain out for the Nets.

Tarik Black misses shootaround for Lakers; downgraded to questionable
Black has come down with an illness and did not take part in the team shootaround. He’s been downgraded to questionable for the Lakers game against Milwaukee tonight. Black’s role has diminished lately as he seldom tops 15 minutes of playing time but his absence would open up more minutes for Lakers rookie Ivica Zubac, who would be a viable value option tonight if Black sits.

Pistons Head Coach Stan Van Gundy stated that Tobias Harris would start Friday night against the Raptors and remain in the starting lineup for the remainder of the season. This won’t be a huge impact on his DFS value as he performs slightly better coming off the bench due to increased usage with the second unit. Jon Leuer will move to the bench now.

Wall stated yesterday that his chances of playing were 50-50 and that his status was up in the air but the official game notes have him listed as probable. Game notes are always hard to rely upon so stay tuned for any news that might come in regarding the Wizards All Star point guard. Brandon Jennings would benefit the most if Wall can’t play. Trey Burke is out for Washington.

With Dwyane Wade out for the rest of the regular season and Cameron Payne sidelined for the next two games, the Bulls will start Paul Zipser tonight. He’s at minimum price on both of the major sites putting him in play as a value option, but his ceiling is limited. The last time he started and played 31 minutes, he put up only 12.5 DraftKings fantasy points. Denzel Valentine could stand to benefit the most from Wade’s absence off the bench and makes for a more intriguing DFS option.

Matthews was listed as questionable yesterday but was expected to play all along and it appears that this will be the case. He’s a viable option facing a 76ers team that is 27th in SG DvP. Dorian Finney-Smith will return to the bench and is out of play for DFS purposes.

Parsons hasn’t played since the 11th of March and remains out for the Grizzlies for their game on Saturday. Vince Carter should continue to start in his place and remains a viable value option.

No surprise here with Thomas ruled out for the next two games, but Celtics Head Coach Brad Stevens stated that Marcus Smart would be the starting point guard tonight when the team faces the Brooklyn Nets as well as Sunday’s game against the 76ers. Smart will be a excellent option for both of those games, especially given the match ups.

The veteran Timberwolves wing player will miss tonight’s game with an ankle injury. He’s had a minimal to negligible role in the team rotation and his absence has no DFS impact.

Rivers and Speights will be inserted into the Clippers starting lineup for tonight’s game against the Denver Nuggets in place of Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, who have already been ruled out in advance of tonight’s contest for rest purposes after not traveling with the team to Denver after Wednesday’s loss to the Milwaukee Bucks at home. Speights is a virtual must play in all formats for his low price tag across the industry, as he has always been a fantastic fantasy point per minute producer and draws an exploitable matchup against the Denver frontcourt defense. Not to bury the lead, but Chris Paul is also an outstanding option considering he will need to shoulder most of the offensive load in a pace up game environment.

Joe Ingles confirmed as the starter in place of Rodney Hood
Ingles will be inserted into the Jazz starting lineup for tonight’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers in place of Rodney Hood, who has already been ruled out with a sore right knee. Utah is also without Derrick Favors and Shelvin Mack, so they will certainly be shorthanded at a couple of key positions and will be down two starters. Joe Johnson will likely continue to start in place of Favors, but it is not outside the realm of possibility for Jazz head coach Quin Snyder to make a change to better matchup with Kevin Love down low. Ingles has averaged just north of 30 minutes per contest in games Hood has missed this season, making him a viable option in all formats as a salary-saving option at a typically shallow small forward position.

Booker will be rested and won’t play in tonight’s game against the New York Knicks. Resting key rotation players has been a consistent trend for the Nets all season long considering they have long had nothing to play for and are officially in full tank mode. With this news, Booker will officially join Sean Kilpatrick and Joe Harris as a member of the inactive list for tonight’s contest. The Nets continue to limit the minutes of their young core players to such an extent that’s it difficult to foresee Caris Levert playing significantly more minutes onThursday’s than normal, but he is still set up to be a viable tournament option given Brooklyn’s lack of depth on the wing in a matchup with a Knicks squad that ranks 25th against opposing small forwards.

Williams is dealing with a right quad contusion, which will keep him out of action against the Jazz. With Kevin Love back, neither Williams nor Channing Frye have anything resembling DFS viability. Frye figures to act as the primary back-up behind Love tonight, who will be on a minutes restriction in his first game back.

Kristaps Porzingis (thigh) officially ruled out for tonight
Porzingis will not play in tonight’s game against the Brooklyn Nets after previously being considered doubtful with a left thigh contusion. The Knicks have yet to officially announce his replacement in the starting lineup but Lance Thomas is extremely likely to start alongside Willy Hernangomez at the power forward spot. Thomas has played at least 32 minutes in each of the past two games, so he could be worth a look as a long-shot tournament flier given the juicy matchup with the Brooklyn “defense”. Since the All-Star break, with Porzingis off the court, Carmelo Anthony unsurprisingly leads the Knicks with a +8.6% usage rate differential (36.5%) and is the primary Knick to target in all formats along with Hernangomez, who should continue seeing 30-plus minutes as a starter on a nightly basis.
