Damian Lillard (ankle) listed as doubtful for tomorrow's game vs Spurs
Damian Lillard has missed the past two games due to an ankle injury and C.J. McCollum has started at PG. Allen Crabbe started at SG and finally had a game where he exceeded value. He’ll likely continue to start with Lillard expected out but is now once again a risky value option against the Spurs. Expect his salary to increase due to the good game making him slightly less viable. McCollum was not able to exceed salary-based expectations and will also be a GPP only option against the Spurs on Friday.

Joe Harris (hip) listed as questionable
Joe Harris missed the Nets’ previous game due to a hip injury and Bojan Bogdanovic returned to the starting lineup. Bogdanovic is not an elite fantasy option and he was also victimized by Jimmy Butler on the last play of the game. If Harris misses another game expect Bogdanovic to start again but he’ll remain a boom-or-bust fantasy option due to his scoring dependent game.

George Hill has missed the past 13 games due to a toe injury and is hoping to play tonight. He is not expected to have his minutes restricted but the Jazz at full strength will likely be too much for the Sixers to handle for four quarters. Hill is a strong GPP option due to the upside in an elite matchup but carries considerable risk tonight. Shelvin Mack and Gordon Hayward will likely see a bump down in production due to the return of Hill.

Nowitzki and Mejri both missed shootaround due to illness and are considered questionable for the Mavericks game against the Lakers tonight. Dwight Powell would be the biggest beneficiary if either of these two can’t play.

George Hill officially listed as questionable for Utah tonight
While there’s a good chance he still might not play, the Jazz have listed PG George Hill as questionable for their game against the 76ers. It’s hard to imagine that they give Hill a full complement of minutes tonight so he won’t be a viable DFS option just yet. If he doesn’t play, Shelvin Mack is a viable play facing a Philly team that is bottom 10 in PG DvP.

No surprise here as the guard was expected to miss today’s game against Memphis. He’s getting closer to a return, however, and could suit up this weekend.

The toe injury that caused Conley to sit on Tuesday appears to be minor as the team expects him to play tonight – he’s in play against a Thunder team that is 25th in PG DvP. Chandler Parsons is also probable but is not a viable DFS option as he’s averaging less than 15 minutes per game since he returned to action three games ago.

Local media is reporting that the Heat PG is likely to play tonight when they take on the Hornets. It’s a positive match up for Dragic as Charlotte is bottom 10 in total fantasy points allowed and bottom half of the league in PG DvP.

Barea will remain out for the Mavericks and while Bogut returned to action in the teams last game he is listed as questionable and is likely to sit to rest his ailing knee. Dwight Powell and Salah Mejri will continue to split time at center while Deron Williams will get the bulk of the work at the PG position.

According to Clippers head coach Doc Rivers, Paul will play in tonight’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans after previously being listed as questionable on the Clippers injury report with a strained left hamstring that forced him to miss two consecutive games. We’ve seen this movie before, so proceed with caution if considering rostering Paul, as he was ruled out just minutes after being “cleared to play” by Doc Rivers on Christmas Day. Paul will reportedly return to the starting lineup but there has yet to any word of a possible minutes restriction. As for Redick, he has officially been ruled out for the second consecutive game due to a sore left hamstring. Austin Rivers will draw the start at starting shooting guard and is a fine tournament option, especially in the possible event Paul has setback in his return from a hamstring strain.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (illness) will play tonight
Hollis-Jefferson will play in tonight’s game against the Chicago Bulls after previously being listed as a game-time decision due to an illness. Joe Harris has already been ruled out, so Hollis-Jefferson, along with Bojan Bogdanovic and Sean Kilpatrick, will be tasked will manning a large majority of the available wing minutes. Kilpatrick was already expected to see his role in the Nets’ rotation increased due to Jeremy Lin being sidelined with an injury, so he now becomes an elite tournament play and borderline cash game viable, as he should see substantial minutes at roughly two or three different positions for Brooklyn this evening.

Leonard will not play in tonight’s game against the Phoenix Suns due to an illness. Kyle Anderson will draw the start at small forward in Leonard’s absence. Despite the starting nod, Anderson isn’t a particularly interesting option on a 10-game slate, outside of maybe a tournament dart throw in hopes he receives blowout run. However, the blowout becomes a lot less likely with Leonard inactive. LaMarcus Aldridge is the obvious beneficiary of Leonard’s absence from the lineup, as he now becomes the focal point of the Spurs offensive game plan. Somewhat surprisingly, Pau Gasol actually leads the Spurs with a massive 11.5% usage rate differential (34.3%) and becomes an intriguing tournament target despite the less than ideal individual matchup with Tyson Chandler defense.

Courtney Lee will not play in tonight’s game against the Atlanta Hawks after Knicks head coach Jeff Hornacek previously told reporters that he expected Lee to play. Vujacic will draw the start at shooting guard in Lee’s absence, but Justin Holiday remains the preferred value option from this Knicks squad regardless, as he typically sees north of 25 minutes when Lee is unable to play. Holiday is available for the stone minimum on FanDuel and is an elite punt option at a shallow shooting guard position.

Joe Harris will not play tonight against the Bulls. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is also dealing with an illness, so there is a chance that Bojan Bogdanovic could return to the starting lineup. If Bogdanovic starts, consider Jimmy Butler and elite play and avoid Bogdanovic at all costs. There’s no way that Bogdanovic can stay with Butler and since Butler has been in a prolonged slump, expect him to really exploit this matchup.
