Courtney Lee expected to play tonight
The veteran Knicks guard had fluid removed from his wrist yesterday but expects to play tonight when his team takes on the Hawks. Lee is always a safe, with limited upside, option and that will be the case as well tonight.

Evan Fournier a game-time decision for Orlando tonight
The Magic guard has missed the last two games with a heel injury and will be a game-time decision for their game against Charlotte tonight. He did miss shootaround so it appears likely he won’t play again. In his absence, Jodie Meeks got the start and played 29 minutes – he’d be the likely starter again and is a reasonable value option.

Lin left early the Nets last game and while considered day-to-day will not play tonight when his team faces the Bulls. Sean Kilpatrick receives a nice bump as his usage increases nearly 2% with Lin off the court and his playing time should increase slightly as well. At $5,300 on FanDuel and $5,400 on DraftKings, he’s an excellent SG option on tonight’s 10 game slate.

Favors will return to the starting lineup in tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers for the first time since returning from injury. This lineup change sends Boris Diaw back to the bench to resume a reserve role. The Jazz are bringing Favors along slowly, as seen by his previous 15-minute restriction off the bench. It has yet to be confirmed whether that limit has been increased or possibly lifted, but it’s safe to assume that Favors is on track to see more playing time in this one. If Favors is able to eclipse that 20-minute mark (or approach 25 minutes), he makes for an outstanding tournament play on sites where he has seen a significant price decrease, especially on DraftKings where he can be had for a ridiculous $3.8K price tag.

Dirk Nowitzki (rest) will play tonight, confirmed in starting lineup
Nowitzki will play in tonight’s game against the Houston Rockets after previously being listed as questionable on the Mavericks’ injury report due to possible rest. The Mavericks are currently easing Dirk back into action and he will remain on a strict minutes restriction Tuesday evening. Nowitzki has sat out the entire second half of both of the previous two games and Mavericks’ head coach Rick Carlisle will likely employ the same plan tonight. Andrew Bogut will join Dirk in the starting lineup after missing the previous 11 games due to a hyperextended right knee. Bogut will be on an unspecified minutes restriction in his return, effectively removing him from consideration in any format. His and Nowitzki’s presence in the lineup is a huge knock to the projected fantasy outlook of Dwight Powell, who now can be removed from consideration entirely in any format.

Nene will draw the start at center over Montrezl Harrell in tonight’s game against the Dallas Mavericks. This lineup change was made by Rockets head coach Mike D’Antoni solely to match Nene up with Andrew Bogut, and we can expect Nene’s minutes to coincide with Bogut’s nearly exclusively. Bogut is on an unspecified minutes restriction in his return from injury as well, meaning Harrell will still see the lions share of minutes at center. Patrick Beverley will not play tonight against the Mavericks. This will be the third meeting he’s missed between the teams and Corey Brewer will start in his place. Brewer rarely plays extended minutes and the move is to simply keep Eric Gordon coming off the bench, where he have thrived this season. Don’t expect Brewer to make a huge fantasy impact and this news is better for Gordon.

The Dallas Mavericks have announced that they have waived guard Jonathon Gibson. In a corresponding move, the Mavericks also announced that they have signed guard Pierre Jackson from the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League. Jackson was averaging 29.1 points per game this season in the D-League. He will likely immediately step into Gibson’s minimal role off the bench while J.J. Barea remains sidelined.

Belinelli will not play in tomorrow night’s game against the Orlando Magic after also missing the Hornets’ previous game with a sprained left ankle he sustained in Friday’s contest against the Chicago Bulls. With Belinelli unavailable, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Jeremy Lamb should be expected to absorb any available minutes vacated in Belinelli’s absence. Lamb becomes particularly interesting in tournaments, as we’ve seen him put up monster performances in the past when given the opportunity. This is evidenced by his average of 1.11 FanDuel and 1.16 DraftKings fantasy points per minute, respectively, when Belinelli is off the court this season.
