Gerald Henderson (illness) downgraded to questionable; Ersan Ilyasova (foot) & Jerryd Bayless listed as probable for tonight
Henderson has been downgraded to questionable for tonight’s game against Miami, as he is reportedly dealing with flu-like symptoms. If he is ruled out, Hollis Thompson would draw the start at shooting guard in Henderson’s place. As for Bayless, he has been upgraded to probable for tonight’s contest after being listed as questionable with a wrist injury that has kept him sidelined for the duration of the regular season thus far. Bayless will reportedly go through pregame warmups before an official decision on his status is made, and there has been no confirmed reports of a minutes restriction. Ilyasova is apparently dealing with foot soreness, and has been added to the Sixers’ injury report as probable. He is expected to play, but this is a situation worth monitoring, as Dario Saric would become an intriguing value option with the extra minutes available if Ilyasova is ruled out.

Al Jefferson starting in place of Myles Turner
Turner will not play in tonight’s game against Golden State after being ruled out with a sprained right ankle. Seraphin has also been upgraded to probable for tonight’s contest, but Al Jefferson will draw the start at center in Turner’s absence. With Paul George and C.J. Miles already ruled out, the Pacers will now be without two starters and one of their primary reserve players off the bench. Meaning, there are a plethora of minutes and usage to go around in this Pacers’ rotation. This is obviously a bump to the entire starting unit, though this matchup with the Warriors has massive blowout written all over it, adding a bit of risk to the Pacers’ regulars. Glenn Robinson III will start at small forward once again in place of George, and is the most intriguing value option of the Pacers role players that have been thrust into the starting unit, as he should be blowout proof. He will be massive chalk at his price, however, after having an outstanding fantasy outing in yesterday’s game versus Oklahoma City.

Sefolosha was a DNP-CD last night against the Knicks. Tim Hardaway Jr. and Taurean Prince saw minutes at the wing off the bench in place of Sefolosha. Prince would likely see the reduction in minutes if Sefolosha was to play on Tuesday. Hardaway is getting minutes as the backup behind Kyle Korver as well and seems like his minutes are secure. Still, his fantasy production is tied to one or more of the starters missing. Since Sefolosha has been playing well before the injury, we can expect that once he is deemed healthy he will resume his role behind Kent Bazemore for 20 minutes a night.

D’Angelo Russell seemed to be hesitant last night in the Lakers loss to the Bulls. He was seen without a limp but was not his usual attacking self. The Lakers held Russell out of practice for precautionary reasons. Jose Calderon would likely start in the place of Russell if he was to miss Tuesday’s game against the Thunder. Calderon is not on the DFS radar and should not be in lineups because he will play a maximum of 12-14 minutes. Lou Williams and Jordan Clarkson are the better options in the Lakers backcourt. Clarkson should be somewhat low-owned coming off a poor shooting night against the Bulls. Williams has only had one bad game this season and is a solid option for cash games should Russell get scratched.

Two of Phoenix’s starters will be out tonight with Warren missing the game due to illness and Chandler dealing with a personal matter. Devin Booker is also questionable for the game but is expected to play against the Wizards. Brandon Knight and Alex Len are expected to start for the two and both are in play tonight – especially Knight who has put up nearly 90 fpts in 69 minutes of play his last three games out. Len too has potential as evidenced by his 54 fpts in 46 minutes of action over his last two games but the lack of playing time despite Chandler being out is concerning.

Joakim Noah misses practice; doubftul for Tuesday
Noah missed Sunday’s game and after missing practice today is doubtful to play tomorrow against Portland. Kyle O’Quinn (who started last game but got into foul trouble) and Willy Hernangomez will benefit the most if Noah sits. Lance Thomas was also listed as doubtful by the team.

The Wizards forward left Saturday’s game early but x-rays came back negative and he has said that he’ll play today when Washington takes on the Suns in what is projected to be the second highest scoring game of the day. While there are some concerns about Morris’s injury, it’s a good match up against a Phoenix team that is 28th in PF DvP and he is in play as a DFS GPP option.

The Mavericks prefer to bring Dwight Powell off the bench and will start Salah Mejri at center with Andrew Bogut out tonight. Seth Curry will also play. The injury depleted Mavericks have a thin rotation meaning all their available players should get plenty of playing time. While there is some value to be had from the likes of Mejri, it’s a horrible match up against the Spurs in what should be a blow out.

Mavericks Head Coach Rick Carlisle said his veteran center will not play tonight when they take on the Spurs. Dwight Powell should benefit the most but he’s a risky DFS option playing for the worst offensive team in the league going against one of the best defensive teams in the league. The Mavs have a staggering low total of just 83 and are favored to lose by more than 15.

He was a game time decision this past weekend as well and played through it. With Justise Winslow out already, it’s likely that he’ll play and continue to heft the ball up a ton. He’ll continue to be a viable DFS option if he does go so check back later as we’ll update his status as soon as we learn of it. Willie Reed is out.

Winslow was originally listed as questionable but will miss his fourth straight game. James Johnson will continue to benefit having played 25+ minutes in his last three games and is a viable value option against the 76ers.

The veteran PG will go through pregame warmups and make a determination as to whether he will play tonight against the Heat. He’s not a viable DFS option but would cut into the playing time of the likes of Sergio Rodriguez if he is able to play.

Lamb hasn’t played in a while so his absence is not a big surprise. Zeller will miss his second straight game with a shoulder injury. Roy Hibbert will likely draw another start in Zeller’s absence but he’s not a viable DFS option as he’s playing on a 18 minute limitation. Marco Belinelli, however, benefits most from Lamb’s absence and he’s shown upside at times and is worthy of consideration.

Rajon Rondo nearly triple-doubled last night against the Clippers. He is in a good spot tonight against the Lakers who are bottom six in DVP vs Point Guards. Without Wade, Rondo and Butler will have to carry the load on offense. The Bulls have a healthy total just under 105 points so you can expect Rondo and Butler to both be heavily involved. Rondo is an elite tournament option tonight.
