DeMarre Carroll starting on Monday; Norman Powell to the bench
Caroll will be starting for the Raptors on Monday. He is being brought in for defensive purposes and does not have a ton of upside. Carroll is expected to still be limited coming off a knee injury that has kept him out for most of the season. He will likely not play over 24 minutes tonight and should shadow Paul George early in the game and then in crunch time. Norman Powell is not a viable option off the bench.

Kent Bazemore (knee) probable for Tuesday
Bazemore is likely to play against the Celtics in Game 2. He had a strong performance in Game 1, scoring 23 points with eight rebounds, two blocks, and one steal. Celtics Guard Isaiah Thomas mentioned in practice today that they needed to stop him from scoring. Expect Paul Millsap to pick up the scoring load if the Celtics focus more on Bazemore. Millsap did not exceed value in Game 1, scoring 35.75 fpts, returning only 4.3x on Saturday. He averaged 44.7 DraftKings fpts in four meetings with the Celtics this season. With Horford and Bazemore carrying the Hawks in Game 1, look for their All-Star PF to show up in Game 2.

After getting blown out in Game 1, the Rockets will tinker again with their starting lineup and likely bring Montiejunas in at PF. Corey Brewer is expected to go back to the bench and is no longer viable in DFS. Montiejunas is a minimum priced player across the industry, leaving us with some nice potential upside. He had 9 fpts in 12 minutes towrads the end of Game 1 so we can expect he should see 18-22 minutes. His FP/MIN is likely to go up but with the small sample we are looking at .75 FP/MIN. If he plays 20 minutes at .75 we should expect his floor to be at 15 fpts. Montiejunas is a strong tournament and cash game play in a game with the highest projected total (218) of the night.

Curry’s status will have huge implications for DFS purposes tonight as his absence would change much about the Rockets-Warriors game and the landscape in general. He is considered questionable after missing the morning shoot around to receive treatment and for those hoping to roster him on a site like FanDuel where rosters lock after the first game tips off, it’s going to be hard to stomach unless news comes out before then. Shaun Livingston is also questionable but Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr stated that Livingston would start if Curry is unable to go. Livingston and Andre Iguodala would be the two players most likely to benefit and both would be great value options on this three game slate. We’ll update you on Curry’s status (as well as Livingston’s) later today as soon as we learn more.

Celtics injury report for Tuesday's game; Avery Bradley OUT
Marcus Smart returned to practice today with his injured finger and appears on track to play in tomorrow’s playoff game. Kelly Olynyk sat out and his status for tomorrow is uncertain. Avery Bradley has been ruled out and some reports say he might be done for the season. Smart and Evan Turner benefit the most from Bradley’s absence while Olynyk sitting would mean a moderate boost in minutes for Amir Johnson, Jared Sullinger, and Tyler Zeller. We’ll update the status of Smart and Olynyk tomorrow when more news comes in regarding their availability.

Williams took part in the Mavericks shoot around this morning but is still doubtful to play in tonight’s game against the Thunder. J.J. Barea, Devin Harris, and Raymond Felton all see a boost in their value if Williams sits. We’ll update the news on Williams later today when official word comes in as to whether he is playing or not.

Redick will be starting against the Blazers in Game 1. Redick is a viable cash game play because he does not have a ton of upside for tournaments. With Blake Griffin back in the lineup, Redick has seen his usage dip. Chris Paul and Blake Griffin should be the considered the elite options for the Clippers tonight.

The Spurs will return to their normal lineup after resting the last game of the season. Tony Parker should be considered a strong tournament option with his salary at punt levels. With the Spurs favored to win by 16.5 points, Patty Mills makes for a viable option off the bench. Manu Ginobili should also be able to exceed value off the bench with his salary sub-4k on both major sites.

Tony Allen is coming off the bench on Sunday and Vince Carter will remain in the starting lineup. Carter started the last two games of the season and is a viable tournament option with his salary barely $3,100 on DK. Tony Allen is not a viable option and he is expected to be limited in his return from a hamstring injury.

Batum is fully expected to play against the Heat in Game 1. Jeremy Lin will head back to the bench and is a risky option against Miami, who is a strong defensive team. Batum’s ownership is expected to be low today with Dwyane Wade also on the slate at SG. Batum is a risky but viable tournament play because his ankle has not fully healed.

Deron Williams is doubtful for Game 2 against the Thunder. Williams started on Saturday but was not effective in 21 minutes. If Williams is ruled out expect Felton to start in his place, making for a viable tournament option. The Mavericks don’t really stand a chance in Oklahoma City so Felton is a risky play.

Barea is not going to play against the Thunder on Monday. Justin Anderson will likely start in his place and is a low-end option that will be focused on defense. If Anderson starts, it will move Wesley Matthews back to SG, making him a strong play coming off a poor showing at SF. Barea hopes to play in Game 3 on Thursday.

J.J. Redick is expected to start against the Blazers after being able to go through shootaround today. Redick averaged 20.6 DraftKings fpts against the Blazers in four meetings this season, showing us he does not have a ton of upside. With Blake Griffin back in the lineup, Redick is simply a contrarian SG play.

Steph Curry was not able to practice on Sunday and is still listed as questionable for Monday. Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr said that Livingston would start if Curry is ruled out. Livingston should be considered an elite punt option if he starts, making Andre Iguodala a strong play off the bench. Iguodala did not exceed value and was 30%+ owned in tournaments, making it possible that his ownership will be lower on Monday after the dud on Saturday.

We did not receive anything official from the Cavs but ABC confirmed that they will be starting their usual starters. LeBron James should be considered an elite option against the Pistons and his ownership is expected to be over 50% on Sunday. Tristan Thompson should also have some upside with the Pistons ranked 27th in DRE for the season against centers.
