LeBron James to play Tuesday
The Cavs face the Trail Blazers in Cleveland Tuesday and LeBron James will be playing after missing one game to rest. James should be an elite option even though Aminu is a good defender. This game comes on the heels of LeBron signing a lifetime contract with Nike, so expect him to be his best after the night off.

Gary Neal questionable, John Wall's status still up in the air
Gary Neal is officially listed as questionable for tonight, and while John Wall is not on the injury report, it’s not necessarily a sign that he’s 100% going to suit up, as we saw when Kris Humphries wasn’t listed yesterday and still sat out. Neal is questionable along with Drew Gooden, while both Wall and Kris Humphries aren’t listed. The Wizards reporting of injuries in the last few days hasn’t been great, so we’ll need more clarification before we recommend any of the Wizards (who are in a tough match-up with a defensive-minded Heat team) as core plays. Bradley Beal and Otto Porter would benefit if both Wall and Neal were to sit.

Kawhi Leonard out on Monday
Kawhi Leonard (gastroenteritis) will not play Monday against the Sixers. It makes sense for the Spurs to take it easy on Leonard against a one-win team, and it’s still possible they choose to rest another veteran or two tonight. With Leonard out, Kyle Anderson (who started in the only other game Leonard sat) will presumably start, and would be a potential GPP punt play against an atrocious Sixers defense. Both of these teams are very risky targets on a busier than usual Monday in the NBA; leave your Spurs/Sixers plays for GPPs. Parker, Duncan and Aldridge will all likely see reduced minutes tonight if this game gets out of hand early on.

We’re still not sure exactly what “limited minutes” means, but it appears Howard will be limited in both games of the Rockets upcoming back-to-back. This is good news for the DFS value of James Harden, Clint Capela and Terrence Jones, all of whom become very solid targets when Howard is out or limited. Since he’ll be in the lineup, both Capela and Jones are only playable in tournaments tomorrow night. Hopefully we’ll get more clarification on Howard’s minutes count by tomorrow.

Harris was able to make it through some portions of practice today and remains questionable to play tomorrow. If he’s unable to go yet again, Randy Foye will presumably draw another start at SG with Will Barton playing a bigger role off the bench. Foye has played 36 minutes in each of the last two games with Harris out, so he is a viable punt play tomorrow assuming Harris sits, but Foye’s ceiling is somewhat limited.

Both David Lee and R.J. Hunter will miss Monday’s game with the Pelicans. There isn’t much in the way of DFS relevance here, as Lee’s 12-16 minutes will be eaten up by a combination of Jared Sullinger, Kelly Olynyk and Jonas Jerebko, while Hunter’s minutes will be split between Jae Crowder, Evan Turner and Avery Bradley. Isaiah Thomas is the only true “elite” DFS option on the Celtics side tonight.

With CP3 out of tonight’s lineup, look for Austin Rivers to draw another start at PG. Even as a starter playing 28-32 minutes, Rivers is not a strong DFS option as he tends to produce very little in terms of counting stats when he’s out there with the first unit. Jamal Crawford is the main DFS beneficiary, as his shot attempts and usage go way up with CP3 out of the lineup. If Redick sits, Crawford only becomes a stronger play. Blake Griffin remains an elite option anytime Paul is out of the lineup.

The Wizards center is out one more game due to a family emergency but is expected to be back with the team and playing on Wednesday. Jared Dudley and Kris Humphries should pick up the slack tonight against the Heat as the Wizards will likely go somewhat small without their veteran big man available.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson out indefinitely
The Brooklyn Nets have announced that Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is out indefinitely with a fractured ankle that will require surgery. Markel Brown played 25 minutes plus last game and is likely the biggest beneficiary of this news. Bojan Bogdanovic should continue to start in his place and continue to be a value DFS option.

The ailing big man participated in full for today’s Hawks practice and the team will see how he responds tomorrow before making a decision as to whether he will play or not. Splitter has not been a viable DFS commodity thus far this season and there’s little reason to believe that will change any time soon.

The Celtics guard is questionable with an illness for tonight’s game against the Pelicans. If he sits, expect Evan Turner to pick up the slack.

The Hornets starting point guard is doubtful to play tonight due to illness. Jeremy Lin would become an elite value play option if Walker is unable to go and Jeremy Lamb would also likely see a bump in playing time.

Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra stated at this morning’s shootaround that Luol Deng is getting better but is still unlikely to play tonight. Gerald Green and Justise Winslow are likely the biggest beneficiaries if Deng sits again.

The Wizards announced their starters for Sunday’s game, but no official word yet on Kris Humphries and Drew Gooden. With Humphries not starting, you have to assume he’s not playing. The safe plays for the Wizards tonight are Bradley Beal and John Wall. Beal is coming off his best game of the year, in which he had 54 FD points. Otto Porter makes for a nice mid-range play; he played 36 minutes last game. Jared Dudley is a GPP punt play only, last game he played 23 minutes, but only finished with 8 FD points. You can ignore Ryan Hollins for your DFS lineups.

Chandler Parsons coming off the bench again
Just like last game, Parsons will come off the bench for the Mavs on Sunday against the Wizards. Last game, Parsons did play a season high in minutes, but he still is on some type of minutes limit. He wants to come off the bench, for he can play later in games. Raymond Felton will start, but he can’t be trusted for your DFS lineups. The only plays for the Mavs tonight are Wesley Matthews and Zaza Pachulia.
