Dennis Schroeder will start alongside Jeff Teague on Wednesday. He played 33 minutes and had 26.25 fantasy points on Draftkings in his last start replacing Kyle Korver. Schroeder will likely matchup against second-round guard Markell Brown.

Jabari Parker will start; Henson, Mayo still out
Jabari Parker will start tonight against the 76ers. Parker’s minutes are still expected to be limited, but he’ll get the nod at PF to start the game. He’s not a DFS option until his minutes restriction is lifted.

This was believed to be the case all day, but we now have official confirmation. Jerryd Bayless is an elite value play across the industry, as he’s expected to see upwards of 30+ minutes as the team’s primary ballhandler. Greivis Vasquez also becomes an interesting GPP punt play in the event that he ends up taking on more work with MCW out.

As expected DeMarcus Cousins has been ruled out of tonight’s game against the Suns. Kosta Koufos and Willie Cauley-Stein make for interesting $4k range punt plays, as both players were able to hit 20 fantasy points on DraftKings last night.

Amir Johnson and Jared Sullinger to start for Celtics
Amir Johnson and Jared Sullinger will start in the front-court tonight against Indiana. David Lee and Tyler Zeller will now come off the bench with Brad Stevens tinkering with his starting five. Sullinger is likely the biggest beneficiary here in terms of DFS value, as he’s been limited in terms of minutes so far this season, but should see a notable bump tonight. Johnson is also a nice GPP target against an Indiana front-court that boasts little defense with Lavoy Allen and Jordan Hill starting.

Isaiah Thomas will draw the start for the injured Marcus Smart. This is big news for Thomas’ DFS value, as he’s now an elite play in any format tonight. Thomas was playing big minutes off the bench, but should be locked into 35+ tonight against the Pacers. Lock him into your cash game lineups tonight, and he’s obviously a viable GPP target.

With Ian Mahinmi out, Jordan Hill and Lavoy Allen will start at PF and C against Boston. Jordan Hill is the more attractive DFS play ($4,500 on FanDuel, $4,100 on DraftKings) of the two, but Allen is also a potential GPP punt play. Rookie Myles Turner ($3,500 on FD, $3,600 on DK) is also expected to see a minutes bump, making him a GPP candidate with his excellent per minute numbers.

Terrence Jones will not play on Wednesday. Marcus Thornton will almost certainly draw another start in his place, as a smaller lineup will match up nicely against the Magic, who roll out a three-guard starting lineup of their own. Thornton has performed well as the starter so far this year, playing an average of 34 minutes and scoring 33 points combined between the two games. He’s a more than viable GPP punt candidate, and can also be rostered in cash games if he’s priced at or near the minimum on your site of choice.

Marcus Smart will not play Wednesday. Avery Bradley is expected to play tonight, but the big DFS value bump goes to Isaiah Thomas. While Thomas will likely still come off the bench, he should see a minutes bump and is a candidate to top the 35 minute mark with Smart out of the lineup. IT2 is a great GPP play at $7,200 on FanDuel and $6,300 on DraftKings.

Ian Mahinmi and C.J. Miles are both out tonight for the Pacers. Either Jordan Hill or Myles Turner will start in Mahinmi’s place, with Turner being the more attractive option of the two in DFS terms. Turner has looked great in limited minutes thus far and would be a candidate to produce at a fantasy point per minute clip, something that would be extremely valuable at his bargain prices across the industry. With Miles out, Rodney Stuckey will see an increased workload and becomes a viable punt play at SG. Stuckey is better utilized in GPPs, but could be a cash game option if you need to save at SG.

The Detroit Pistons were on a 3-0 start to their season with Andre Drummond, Reggie Jackson, and Marcus Morris leading the way. Last night they hosted the Indiana Pacers and once again their bench was the main weakness. Coach Van Gundy said of the Pistons bench. “We either gotta find something that can help them offensively or we gotta get a different rotation,” Expect rookie Stanley Johnson to get extended run because he only played 11 minutes, while all the starters played over 34 minutes in the loss.

Dwyane Wade (illness) traveled with the Heat for the upcoming two-game road trip and expects to play. The Heat do have a back-to-back set and Wade’s migraines may end up causing him to miss a game, so we’ll be tracking this situation closely. Wade has a relatively tough match-up against the T’Wolves tomorrow, since he’ll likely be followed around by a strong wing defender in Andrew Wiggins.

Bogut will remain sidelined with a concussion. Festus Ezeli has performed admirably in his absence, and will be in another good spot tonight against a big Clippers front-court, which may lead to more “big” lineups for Golden State. Ezeli is still priced at the minimum on FanDuel, and sits at $4,100 on DraftKings, so he’s a viable punt play on either site.

Korver will sit on the second night of a back-to-back on Wednesday, which will afford more minutes to Kent Bazemore and Thabo Sefolosha, assuming he plays. Both Sefolosha and Jeff Teague are listed as probable. Bazemore is a viable punt play across the industry, although he’s better utilized in GPPs. Dennis Schroeder started last time Korver sat, and he’s likely the biggest beneficiary of this news.

Mahinmi left last night’s game with a back injury and is questionable to play tonight. If he’s unable to go, either Jordan Hill or Myles Turner would enter the starting five. Both would become interesting punt plays, but Turner would be the more appealing option of the two. He’s looked great in limited minutes so far in the regular season, producing at nearly a fantasy point per-minute clip. The match-up with the Boston front-court is a positive one.
