What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – PIT -169
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Gerrit Cole is inducing a high number of ground balls. All 6 of his starts have been similar. He has surrendered either 2 or 3 ER. Struck out between 1 and 5 and lasted around 85 pitches. His line should be close to that today again. NYM is batting .248 on the road, .233 versus right-handers, and .246 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away Dillon Gee has been absolutely awful on the road with a 6.11 ERA and PIT has been great at home. It is hard to trust him today in that environment when he just gave up 5 ER in PHI a few starts back. PIT is batting .246 at home, .243 versus right-handers, and .226 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
Batter Grind Down
- Home Andrew McCutchen and Pedro Alvarez have both been hot for PIT. Jose Tabata, Alex Presley, and Andrew McCutchen all bat well versus right-handers. Jose Tabata is 4-10 versus Gee. RG Stack Rating 5
- Away Marlon Byrd and Eric Young Jr. have both been hot for NYM. David Wright is batting well versus right-handers. RG Stack Rating 2

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – PHI -180
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Cole Hamels has been really good his last 2 times out. After a horrible start, he posted a 3.94 ERA in June and has a 1.20 ERA here in July. CHW has been hot as well though. They are batting .257 on the road, .229 versus left-handers, and .276 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 7
- Away Jose Quintana has a tall order to face today versus Hamels. He has been great on the year and despite what the line says could easily hang Hamels for his 12th loss on the year. Personally, I would like to see Hamels lose 20 games. PHI is batting.251 at home, .245 versus left-handers, and .245 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 6
Batter Grind Down
- Home Darin Ruf has been hot for the Phillies. Carlos Ruiz and Ruf are batting over .300 versus left-handers. RG Stack Rating 2
- Away Jeff Keppinger is 7-15 off of Hamels. De Aza, Beckham, and Viciedo have all been hot for CHW. RG Stack Rating 2

TOR vs R | TOR BvP | BAL vs R | BAL BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9.5
- Favored Team – BAL -130
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home You can kind of throw the splits out the window until you see how Scott Feldman adjust to pitching in BAL. He was great for the Cubs. If he can continue to miss bats should be fine but I do not trust him just yet. TOR is batting .243 on the road, ..252 versus right-handers, and .268 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away Josh Johnson road ERA of 6.75 is horrible and he gets the honor of bringing it against the league’s second highest scoring offense. No thanks. BAL is batting .263 at home, .274 versus right-handers, and .243 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 3
Batter Grind Down
- Home Adam Jones is super hot with 30.75 fp over the last 7 days. Chris Davis is hot as well. Davis, Machado, Roberts, and Jones are all batting over .300 versus right-handers. Chris Dickerson he starts) is 6-10 versus Johnson RG Stack Rating 6
- Away Colby Rasmus and Edwin Encarnacion have both been hot for TOR. Adam Lind, Jose Reyes, and Melky Cabrera all bat well versus right-handers. Jose Bautista is 5-11 with 1 HR versus Feldman. Adam Lind is 6-17 with 3 HRs versus him. RG Stack Rating 5

HOU vs R | HOU BvP | TBR vs L | TBR BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – TAM -240
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home After watching HOU jump on Hernandez and Price the last 2 days, you might think it is time to shy off of Chris Archer. However, both those previous guys were great plays. They did not workout but daily fantasy and sports in general would not be fun to watch if everything went the way it was suppose to. Archer has been great at home with a 2.45 ERA and the Astros are an upside booster because of their K rate RG Start-Ability 7
- Away I do not understand why HOU brought in Eric Berdard. There has to be some AAA player that you can bring up to get shelled every 5th day. Bedard is okay as a 5th starter but by no means great and the Astros are not going anywhere this year anyway so why even waste the money on him? His road ERA is horrible at 6.53 and he has little to no upside since he only ever throws 6 IP. TAM is batting .264 at home, .286 versus left-handers, and .241 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 2
Batter Grind Down
- Home Pack your bags because we are headed to stacksville. First stop TAM. TAM crushes left-handed pitching. RG Stack Rating 10
- Away When recommending the Astros, I feel like when you are trying to convince your friend to go out with your girlfriend’s sister who you know is not that attractive but you have to talk here up to him anyway because your girlfriend is sitting right there and you want to get laid later so you say things like she has a great personality and a really good sense of humor but the bottom line is you would not date her and you know neither would he. Have you seen the Astros new Uniforms? Boy! Aren’t those spiffy? RG Stack Rating 1

BOS vs R | BOS BvP | OAK vs R | OAK BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – OAK -150
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home I do not want to get sued for slander because this article is so popular I could damage Bartolo Colon images by making wild claims – Just Kidding – but after seeing the year he is having, I think I am going to roid it up and start crushing the ball in my softball league. The roids have nothing to do with Colon. Just something I been thinking about while watching him pitch. Totally random. Colon has been a beast at home and he draws a nice matchup today versus a AAA pitcher. The Redsox offer high upside because of their K rate but also high downside because they score many runs. BOS is batting .264 on the road, .288 versus right-handers, and .264 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 5
- Away Brandon Workman threw only 47 pitches in his last outing. I think it is safe to expect he goes between 60-80 pitches today. He should get some help from this park but there is no upside in playing him unless he is super cheap. OAK is batting .240 at home, .247 versus right-handers, and .212 over the last 7 days. RG Start-Ability 1
Batter Grind Down
- Home OAK has been cold as a team but this game has bullpen written all over it so everyone is in play. RG Stack Rating 8
- Away Mike Napoli has been hot for BOS. Ortiz, Carp, Ellsbury, Holt, Nava and Pedroia are all batting over .300 versus right-handers. Jonny Gomes is 6-15 with 2 HRs versus Colon. RG Stack Rating 5
