What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9
- Favored Team – NYY -120
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home David Phelps is underrated in daily fantasy. In 10 starts, he has not surrendered more than 4 ER. He has less than 3 ER in 6 of those. His K/9 is good, not great but it is great at home where he has 38 Ks in 30.1 IP. TAM is a tough opponent but his opponent on the mound makes me think he has a great chance to record a win today. He is definitely in play in a multiple pitcher site and he is a high risk/reward player in a single pitcher format. TAM is batting .250 on the road, .246 versus right-handers, and .251 over the last 7 days. They rank 6th in runs scored and have recorded the 9th fewest Ks. Start-ability 6
- Away Roberto Hernandez numbers are all bad. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. NYY has been slumping as of late but he is just the kind of pitcher to get your bats swinging in the right direction and NYY holds a .318 BAA versus Hernandez as a team. NYY is batting .244 at home, .239 versus right-handers, and .190 over last 7 days. They rank 20th in runs scored and have recorded the 15th most Ks. Start-ability 3
Batter Grind Down
- Home There are positive BvPs to be had by everyone. The OU is high so consider everyone playable. Robinson Cano is 11-24 versus Hernandez and has been quiet as of late if you believe in the “they are do” factor.
- Away Evan Longoria is hot with 30 fp over the last week. Ben Zobrist, Kelly Johnson, and Matt Joyce all have positive BvPs versus Phelps.

BAL vs R | BAL BvP | TOR vs R | TOR BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9
- Favored Team – TOR -124
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home R.A. Dickey has not been good at home this year and he has been inconsistent on the road as well. He just gave up 7 ER to CHW of all people so I am not excited about his prospects today against a tough BAL team. BAL is batting .280 on the road, .278 versus right-handers, and .281 over the last 7 days. They rank 3rd in runs scored and have recorded the 6th fewest Ks. Start-ability 4
- Away Jason Hammel 7-4 record is a reflection of how good BAL offense has been because he has been horrible on the year. He has been much better on the road with a 3.97 ERA but do you really want to gamble on him today? He has given up 13 HR in 14 starts and TOR is finding their stroke. TOR is batting .260 at home, .253 versus right-handers, and .246 over the last 7 days with 11 HRs. Start-ability 3
Batter Grind Down
- Home Adam Lind, Colby Rasmus, J.P. Arencibia and Edwin Encarnacion have been hot for the Jays. Lind is batting .321 versus right-handers. Jose Bautista is batting .349 at home. Stack-ability 6
- Away BAL is a better road team and Dickey is horrible at home so consider everyone playable. Chris Davis has been super hot producing 37 fp over the last week. He is also batting .337 versus right-handed pitching. Manny Machado has been hot as well producing 23.5 fp and is batting .326 versus right-handers. Adam Jones has positive numbers as well. Stack-ability 7

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – KAN -145
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Jeremy Guthrie low K/9 makes him unplayable in a single pitcher format. He is worth a look in a multiple format against a slumping CHW team. His 2.79 home ERA is really good given his price and he has held CHW to .191 BAA versus him. CHW is batting .248 on the road, .244 versus right-handers, and .252 over the last 7 days. Start-ability 5
- Away Hector Santiagohas been very good since joining the rotation. He is a K per inning guy so the upside is there, and KAN is not that formidable of an offense. KAN is batting .264 on the road, .282 versus left-handers, and .276 over the last 7 days. Start-ability 6
Batter Grind Down
- Home No one has been hot except for Billy Butler and Jeff Francoeur. These two are worth a GPP look versus the left-hander.
- Away Paul Konerko is finally hot producing 24.25 fp over the last week. Adam Dunn makes another solid play but his price has crept up.

ATL vs R | ATL BvP | MIL vs R | MIL BvP
3. What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – ATL -130
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home There is absolutely nothing positive to say about Wily Peralta. His already bad ERA of 6.08 is even worse at home where it is a 7.34. He faces the Braves so he will get a notch up in Ks, but they also might hang 5 ER on him. ATL is batting .241 on the road, .249 versus right-handers, and .230 over the last 7 days. They rank 13th in runs scored and have recorded the 2nd most Ks. Start-ability 2
- Away Julio Teheran numbers take a significant dip on the road. The most troubling is his K/9 ratio that goes from 8.99 at home to 5.63. He is probably a lock to get the win today but MIL is a tough place to pitch on the road and they do not K that much so I will take a pass. MIL is batting .265 at home, .253 versus right-handers, and .233 over the last 7 days. The rank 18th in runs scored and have recorded the13th fewest Ks. Start-ability 6
Batter Grind Down
- Home MIL gets production from everyone in the order so recommending any one person can be difficult Jean Segura and Carlos Gomez are both batting over .300 versus right-handers. Stack-ability 3
- Away Freddie Freeman has been hot over the last 7 days with 22.5 fp and is batting .327 versus right-handed pitching. B.J. Upton has been a little hotter with 26 fp over the last 7 days. Peralta has been struggling so consider everyone playable. Stack-ability 7

TEX vs L | TEX BvP | STL vs L | STL BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8. 5
- Favored Team – STL -115
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Tyler Lyons gave up 6 ER to MIA so it is hard to trust him today versus the Rangers. He has been bad over his last 3 outings with 14 ER over 17 IP with only 11 K. TEX is batting .253 on the road, .254 versus left-handers and .247 over the last 7 days. Start-ability 3
- Away Derek Holland faces another tough offense today. He has given up 10 ER in 16.1 IP versus 3 of the better offenses in baseball over his last 3 starts. STL is just as potent but he has been better on the road this year with a 3.20 ERA. STL is batting .282 at home, .234 versus left-handers and .284 over the last 7 days. Start-ability 5
Batter Grind Down
- Home Yadier Molina and Carlos Beltran have both produced around 30 fp over the last 7 days. STL gets steady production so look to their right-handed bats
- Away Anytime you see a lefty on the hill then Adrian Beltre, Nelson Cruz, Ian Kinsler, and Jeff Baker should come to your mind. A.J. Pierzynski has been hot over the last 7 days. Stack-ability 6
