What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 9
- Favored Team – DET -130
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Jose Alvarez was electric in his first start versus CLE. He gets the nod again today but the draw is much tougher versus the leagues highest scoring offense. He is a lefty, which bodes well for him versus BAL but I think it is too dangerous to take him today unless he still super cheap on your site. Do not get carried away with young starters. I bet he will be limited to around 90 pitches again. BOS is batting .256 on the road, .245 versus left-handers, and .203 over the last 7 days. The have recorded the 3rd most Ks on the year. Start-ability 5
- Away John Lackey is finally pitching like the player BOS thought he would be when they got him. He is off to a great start but he has been only a 4.44 pitcher on the road so far this year and draws a DET team that is murderous at home and holds a .326 BAA versus him. DET is batting .303 at home, .281 versus right-handers, and .273 over the last 7 days. Start-ability 4
Batter Grind Down
- Home There are positive BvPs to had by almost everyone. Victor Martinez 10-21 and Johnny Peralta’s 11-28 are the most notable. Peralta has been hot over the past week with 19.5 fp. Austin Jackson has 23.5 fp over the last 7 days also. Stack-ability 6
- Away Dustin Pedroia is batting .368 versus left-handed pitching. I think will Middlebrooks and Jonny Gomes also make solid plays. Jacoby Ellsbury just got done with a torrid hot streak so I think he is playable today also. Personally, I could see things getting ugly for the young guy in his second start now that there is some film on him. Stack-ability 5

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – ATL -200
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Home or road, Mike Minor has been dominant. All the relevant stats are in his favor today. He is a huge favorite at home in a game with a low OU and he is facing a struggling NYM team that is 7th in the league in Ks. NYM is batting .243 on the road, .222 versus left-handers, and .234 over the last 7 days. Startability 9
- Away The last time Jonathan Niese pitched in ATL, he gave up 7 ER in 4 IP. I think he is a better pitcher than his 6.30 road ERA would suggest. He has only made 4 road starts on the year, 1 in COL, 1 in ATL, 1 in STL and 1 in MIN. His numbers will get a boost from a slumping ATL team that is 2nd in the league in Ks if you want to gamble. ATL is batting .243 at home, .223 versus left-handers, and .221 over the last 7 days. Start-ability 6
Batter Grind Down
- Home B.J. Upton has been hot producing 27.25 fp over the last week. His price is still low so he is a guy to target. Chris Johnson is batting .371 versus lefties and Evan Gattis is batting .317. There are positive BvPs to be had by everyone on ATL. Stack-ability 5
- Away Marlon Byrd has been hot with 26 fp over the last week and is 4-13 versus Minor. Lucas Duda is 5-14 with 1 HR. Stack-ability 1

CHC vs R | CHC BvP | STL vs R | STL BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – STL -180
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home At this point in the season, I do not need to tell you that Lance Lynn is great at home. He has the leagues 3rd highest scoring offense behind him and he catches a CHC team that is horrible on the road. BINGO! The only thing not to like is that the Cubs have recorded the 12th fewest Ks on the year and Lynn has not looked sharp in June. He just gave up 7 ER to MIA of all teams. but that start came on the road. I think we see a different Lynn today. CHC is batting .224 on the road, .241 versus right-handers, and .211 over the last 7 days. Start-ability 8
- Away Scott Feldman is a good pitcher and his numbers do not suffer all that much on the road. His too risky today because of his 6.33 K/9 ratio against a team that is most likely going to score some runs. He may only give up 2 ER this afternoon and still lose the game. STL is batting .281 at home, .289 versus right-handers, and .268 over the last 7 days. Start-ability 4
Batter Grind Down
- Home Feldman has a 3.05 ERA on the year so do not dig to deep. Carlos Beltran and Yadier Molina have both been hot over the last week. Molina is batting .354 versus right-handers.
- Away Anthony Rizzo, Starlin Castro, and Alfonso Soriano have positive BvPs versus Lynn if you feel like playing the fade. Stack-ability 2

SEA vs R | SEA BvP | LAA vs R | LAA BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7
- Favored Team – SEA -115
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Tommy Hanson seems to be rounding back into shape. He recorded 8 Ks his last time out versus NYY and draws a nice matchup today versus a SEA tem that is 25th in runs scored and has recorded the 5th most Ks. His Ks were low to start the season but he has a career K/9 of 8.24. The only problem with using him is that King Felix is pitching Cy Young Award winning baseball. SEA is .224 on the road, .236 versus right-handers, and .204 over the last 7 days. Start-ability 7
- Away Felix Hernandez is locked in right now. The way he is pitching the numbers do not matter and neither does his opponent. He has been a better pitcher on the road this year with a 1.73 ERA and he held this LAA team 1 ER in 8 IP with 7 Ks the last time he saw them. LAA is batting .284 at home, .278 versus right-handers, and .331 over the last 7 days. Start-ability 9
Batter Grind Down
- Home If you are playing the fade then Mike Trout has been hot over the last week with 25.5 fp. He is 11-27 versus Felix with 1 HR. Mark Trumbo is 9-30 with 2 HRs. Albert Pujols has been hot as well with 22.25 fp.
- Away SEA is slumping and not good on the road to begin with. Nick Franklin has been hot and is cheap. Kyle Seager is batting .320 versus right-handed pitching. Michael Morse is 5-13 with 2 HRs versus Hanson.

LAD vs R | LAD BvP | SDP vs R | SDP BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – SDG -135
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home In his 2 starts versus LAD this year, Jason Marquis has gone 14 IP with 3 ER and 11 Ks. He has been very reliable and has only surrendered more than 3 ER in 2 of his 14 starts. He doesn’t give you much in the way of Ks but he is playable in a multiple pitcher site. LAD is batting .254 on the road, .250 versus right-handers, and .260 over the last 7 days. Start-ability 6
- Away Stephen Fife went 5.1 IP with 1 ER and 5 Ks the last time he saw this SDG team. His pitch count seems to be capped at 90 so his upside is limited but he gets his fair share of Ks and has been inducing a high number of ground balls. SDG is batting .242 at home, .248 versus right-handers, and .235 over the last 7 days. Start-ability 4
Batter Grind Down
- Home Logan Forsythe has been hot over the past 7 days and is batting .400 versus right-handers. I also like Kyle Blanks who has 2 HRs in the past week.
- Away Hanley Ramirez is 8-26 with 1 HR versus Marquis. A.J. Ellis is 5-11. Yasiel Puig has been hot over the last week with 22 fp and is batting .432 versus right-handers, Stack-ability 3

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – SFO -175
Pitcher Grind Down
- Home Do not let Chad Gaudin ‘s seemingly low ERA and the fact that he is huge favorite in this game fool you. He is a bad play. For starters, he is limited to around 80 pitches and I do not see the upside in playing a pitcher who could not record a single K against ATL. Secondly, two-thirds of his outs have been from fly balls and as we saw in his last start that leads to HRs. Finally, MIA’s offense is not as bad as it was at the beginning of the year. They are in the middle of the pack, at 15th, in runs scored in June. This is a trap. MIA is batting .229 on the road, .237 versus right-handers, and .230 over the last 7 days. Start-ability 3
- Away For all their woes, MIA has some decent starting pitching but Tom Koehler is not one of those decent starters. He has been shelled in his last 3 outings and his 5.33 K/9 is unplayable. All signs point to “no” on this one. SFO is batting .280 at home, .270 versus right-handers, and and .321 over the last 7 days. Start-ability 2
Batter Grind Down
- Home Koehler has surrendered 5 HRs in his last 3 starts so consider everyone playayble. Gregor Blanco has been very hot with 32.5 fp over the last week. Buster Posey and Hunter Pence have been hot as well. Posey and Blanco are both batting over .300 at home. Stack-ability 8
- Away Giancario Stanton has been very hot with 31.5 fp. I think all of MIA is playable against Guadin and I bet there will be at least 1 MIA HR today. Stackability 3
