Patrick Kane and the Blackhawks are in the midst of playing their third game on a six-game road trip and their second in two nights. Goaltender Scott Darling stood on his head last night as the Hawks dropped a 2-1 decision to the Calgary Flames in overtime. Look for the Hawks to bounce back tonight against the slumping Canucks, who have lost four games in a row.
The Canucks finally get to play a home game after going 1-6 on their recent road trip. This is no surprise as second liners Chris Higgins, Jared McCann and Alexandre Grenier really don’t stack up too well against other team’s second lines, especially against ones like their opponents have tonight. It looks Radim Vrbata may be on the shelf again tonight, but I still like the top line to score a goal or two as this game may see a few goals tonight.
