Joel Embiid (knee) and James Harden (hamstring) listed questionable Sunday

Joel Embiid (knee) and James Harden (hamstring) have both been listed questionable Sunday ahead of their matchup with the Detroit Pistons. It seems as though the 76ers are considering resting both Harden and Embiid ahead of the playoffs. If they do, both Maxey and Harris would see large bumps as they would be tasked with carrying the bulk of the offensive load for the 76ers. It is possible we would see a center by committee approach with no true winner taking the bulk of Embiid’s minutes while Harden’s minutes should be absorbed by the available guards/wings.

Marquese Chriss (illness) will be available Sunday; Frank Ntilikina (illness) out

Marquese Chriss (illness) will be available Sunday against the San Antonio Spurs, while Frank Ntilikina (illness) has been ruled out. Chriss is expected to pick up some backup big man minutes with Maxi Kleber already ruled out. Chriss is not expected to play a large enough role to be considered in DFS contests tonight. Ntilikina was not expected to crack the rotation tonight so his absence is not expected to have any DFS ramifications.

Serge Ibaka (illness) out Sunday.

Serge Ibaka (illness) has been listed out for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. It looks like the Bucks are going for a full off day for most of their main guys with 3 starters listed doubtful. Ibaka seemed like he was in line to see a decent amount of run but will also be sitting out tonight. In his absence the Bucks big man minutes should be spread out to the available bigs that normally play off the bench.

Jordan Poole (hand) available Saturday; Warriors will start Poole, Lee, Wiggins, Green and Looney

Jordan Poole (hand) will be available Saturday against the San Antonio Spurs. The Warriors will elect to start Poole, Lee, Wiggins, Green and Looney meaning Damion Lee will enter the starting lineup for the resting Klay Thompson. Lee should benefit from running with the starting unit and should see more minutes making him a better play. He will be on the cusp of consideration in DFS contests tonight. Jordan Poole projects as one of the best plays on the slate and should see a hefty workload tonight. He should be considered in most formats.

Romeo Langford (hamstring) available Saturday.

Romeo Langford (hamstring) will be available Saturday against the Golden State Warriors. Langford is expected to see wing minutes off the bench for the Spurs but doesn’t project well enough to be seriously considered in DFS contests despite coming in at the minimum price on DK.

Pelicans will start McCollum, Graham, Jones, Hayes and Valanciunas on Saturday. As expected Devonte’ Graham will enter the starting lineup in Ingram’s absence. Graham should benefit from increased run with the starting unit while Valanciunas and McCollum should carry the bulk of the offense for New Orleans.

Ja Morant (knee) available Saturday: Grizzlies will start Morant, Bane, Brooks, Jackson Jr. and Adams

Ja Morant (knee) will be available and start Saturday against the New Orleans Pelicans. With the return of Morant the Grizzlies will be back to a relatively normal starting five and rotation ahead of the playoffs. Morant will likely be somewhat limited in his first game back but should still be a focal point of the Grizzlies offense. His return should limit the upside of all other Grizzlies.

Brandon Ingram (hamstring) out Saturday.

Brandon Ingram (hamstring) has been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies. With Ingram out, almost all of the Pelicans will see a bump with the big winners being Jonas Valanciunas and CJ McCollum who should now carry the bulk of the offensive load for New Orleans. Devonte’ Graham seems like the most likely candidate to draw the start and should benefit from increased minutes with the starting unit. Alvarado should play a larger role for the Pelicans with Willy Hernangomez remaining in the rotation.

Jordan Poole (hand) questionable Saturday.

Jordan Poole (hand) is now listed questionable ahead of Saturday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs. If Poole were to miss, Gary Payton II would likely be shifted to the point guard position with Otto Porter, Andre Iguodala, and Damion Lee all potential candidates to join the starting lineup. Most of Poole’s minutes would be split between the available bench players with Moses Moody and Juan Toscano-Anderson possibly entering the rotation for the Warriors.

Lineup Update: Pacers will start McConnell, Haliburton, Hield, Brissett, and Jackson on Saturday. In somewhat of a surprising move TJ McConnell will get the start for the Pacers in just his second game back from injury. McConnell will likely still be somewhat limited but still should be considered on the showdown slate at his price.

Lineup Update: 76ers will start Maxey, Harden, Green, Harris and Embiid on Saturday. Danny Green will remain in the starting lineup even with Thybulle available. This will likely result in a few more minute for Danny Green and a few less for Thybulle.

Goga Bitadze (foot) out Saturday.

Goga Bitadze (foot) has been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers. With Bitadze out, the Pacers will be severely limited on bigs. Isaiah Jackson will likely enter the starting lineup and should see a good chunk of minutes with Terry Taylor and Oshae Brissett also available to play the four and five. All three should see heavy minutes and become better plays in DFS contests.

Malcolm Brogdon (back) and Jalen Smith (groin) out Saturday; Goga Bitadze (foot) a game-time decision

Malcolm Brogdon (back) and Jalen Smith (groin) have been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers, while Goga Bitadze (foot) will be a game-time decision. Brogdon was expected to be out as the Pacers continue to tank, in his absence Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield should handle the bulk of the offensive load for the Pacers. With Smith out, Isaiah Jackson should play a larger role for Indiana off the bench and becomes a better play on the showdown slate. If Goga were to be ruled out, Jackson would become an even better play as he would be one of the last bigs available for the Pacers.

Thunder will start Simpson, Krejci, Kalaitzakis, Hoard and Roby on Friday. The Thunder are expected to run a similar rotation to what they have used the past two games, meaning starters should see a significant amount of run as the rotation will like only be 7-8 players deep barring injuries. Simpson, Krejci, and Hoard are worth considering in DFS contests at their respective price points.

Lakers will start Monk, Reaves, Horton-Tucker, Johnson and Howard on Friday. The Lakers will remain with the same starting five as last night as they have nothing left to play for. Expect a similar rotation as last night with Mason Jones among others getting some time off the bench.
