Will Barton (ankle) will play Saturday; Aaron Gordon (foot) ruled out

Will Barton (ankle) will play Saturday against the Toronto Raptors, while Aaron Gordon (foot) has been ruled out. Will Barton should return to the starting lineup tonight and see his usual minutes after missing the last few games. With Gordon out Denver could elect to keep Austin Rivers in the starting five but might want to go bigger with JaMychal Green. Either way it seems as though Davon Reed will remain in the rotation at this time.

Lineup Update: Cavs will start Garland, Okoro, Wade, Love, Mobley on Saturday. Wade will remain in the starting lineup and Kevin Love will enter the starting lineup after Lauri markkanen was ruled out a few minutes ago. Love should be expected to see more minutes than usual and will enter DFS consideration, though he does come in at a 6.4K price tag on DK tonight.

Lauri Markkanen (ankle) ruled out Saturday

Lauri Markkanen (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Chicago Bulls. With Markkanen out, Kevin Love will enter the starting lineup and should see a slight increase in minutes. Along with Love, Cedi Osman and Lamar Stevens should play larger roles off the bench for the Cavaliers. Love will enter DFS consideration though he is priced up at 6.4K on DK at this time.

Goga Bitadze (foot) will play Saturday

Goga Bitadze (foot) will play Saturday against the San Antonio Spurs. Bitadze will be one of the nine available players for the Pacers tonight and should see some run as the backup center behind Isaiah Jackson. Bitadze is a fringe candidate for GPPs and should only be considered in very large tournaments.

Patrick Beverley (ear) ruled out Saturday; Jordan McLaughlin (groin) available to play

Patrick Beverley (ear) has been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Miami Heat, while Jordan McLaughlin (groin) will be available to play. With Beverley out, D’Angelo Russell will shift to the point guard position with Jordan McLaughlin and Jaylen Nowell available to back him up. Russell should benefit from extra playmaking opportunities. Both Nowell and McLaughlin will cut into each others minutes too much to be reliably considered in DFS contests at this time.

Nikola Vucevic (hamstring) and Ayo Dosunmu (adductor) listed available to play Saturday

Nikola Vucevic (hamstring) and Ayo Dosunmu (adductor) have been listed available to play Saturday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Both Vucevic and Dosunmu were expected to be available after being listed as probable and should start and play their normal role. Dosunmu could be slightly affected by the return of Alex Caruso but with LaVine still out there should still be enough guard minutes to go around. Vucevic continues to see a boost with LaVine out.

P.J. Tucker (knee) will warm up to play Saturday per HC Erik Spoelstra

P.J. Tucker (knee) will warm up to play Saturday per HC Erik Spoelstra ahead of the Heat’s matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves. This is a good sign and will likely lead to Tucker playing as long as his warm up goes well. He should remain in the starting lineup though could see some of his minutes taken by the returning Markieff Morris.

Zach LaVine (knee) ruled out Saturday; Alex Caruso (wrist) will play in 24-30 minute range per HC Billy Donovan.

Zach LaVine (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, while Alex Caruso (wrist) will play in the 24-30 minute ranger per HC Billy Donovan. With LaVine out, DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic should play larger roles in the Chicago offense with Coby White likely to join the starting lineup. Alex Caruso will make his return tonight and should see a good portion of the backup guard minutes behind White and Dosunmu despite his minutes restriction.

P.J. Tucker (knee) now listed questionable Saturday

P.J. Tucker (knee) is now listed questionable for Saturday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. If Tucker were to be ruled out, Max Strus or Omer Yurtseven could enter the starting lineup for the Heat in his place. Markieff Morris is available and will soak up some forward minutes but will likely be limited after not playing since the beginning of November. Haywood Highsmith would also likely enter the rotation and pick up some these vacated forward minutes as well.

Markieff Morris available to play Saturday

Markieff Morris will be available to play Saturday against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Morris has not played since November 8th and will likely be limited in his first real game action. He should see some forward minutes and will likely keep Haywood Highsmith out of the rotation.

Mike Conley (rest) and Trent Forrest (wrist) ruled out Saturday

Mike Conley (rest) and Trent Forrest (wrist) have been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Sacramento Kings. Conley was expected to miss the second leg of the back to back anyway which is why his original exclusion from the injury report was confusing. This has since been cleared up and Donovan Mitchell should handle the bulk of the point guard duties tonight. With Forrest ruled out Danuel House Jr. seems to be the most likely candidate to join the starting lineup with Jordan Clarkson as another option. Both should see increased run and will enter DFS consideration at their respective price points. Nickeil Alexander-Walker will also likely be called upon to play a larger role off the bench for the Jazz.

Domantas Sabonis (personal) listed out Saturday

Domantas Sabonis (personal) has been listed out for Saturday’s game against the Utah Jazz. With Sabonis out, Richaun Holmes or Damian Jones seem like the most likely candidates to draw the start at center for the Kings. Last game, Jones saw 37 minutes off the bench though this was without Sabonis and Holmes. Holmes is projected to start and will be worth consideration at just 3.3K on DK. If Jones were to draw the start he would be worth considering, though he is priced up a bit more at 4.2K.

Bojan Bogdanovic (leg) not listed on injury report Saturday; Trent Forrest (wrist) questionable

Bojan Bogdanovic (leg) is not listed on injury report for Saturday’s game against the Sacramento Kings, while Trent Forrest (wrist) is listed questionable. Bogdanovic should return to the starting lineup for the Jazz and see his normal minutes. If Forrest were to be ruled out, Danuel House or Jordan Clarkson could slide into the starting lineup in his spot. Both should see increased run regardless, making them slightly better plays. Nickeil Alexander-Walker would also likely be asked to play increased minutes off the bench.

Fred VanVleet (knee) questionable Saturday

Fred VanVleet (knee) has been listed questionable for Saturday’s game against the Denver Nuggets. VanVleet has started and played the last two games for the Raptors but on the second night of a back-to-back could be rested as he continues to deal with a knee injury. If he were to miss, the Raptors would likely elect to go with Scottie Barnes and Pascal Siakam running the point and add Chris Boucher to the starting lineup as they have done in the past. Siakam and Barnes would both benefit from more playmaking opportunities while Gary Trent would be expected to see more usage. Dalano Blanton could be called upon to pick up some point guard minutes off the bench but would still not be worth considering in DFS contests at this time.

Caris LeVert (foot) listed out Saturday; Lauri Markkanen (ankle) listed questionable

Caris LeVert (foot) listed out for Saturday’s game against the Chicago Bulls, while Lauri Markkanen (ankle) has been listed questionable. With LeVert out Rajon Rondo and Cedi Osman will be the primary ballhandlers for the second unit. Both should continue to see increased minutes and playmaking opportunities but remain outside of DFS consideration. If Markkannen were to be ruled out Cedi Osman would be a potential candidate to enter the starting lineup and could see even more minutes. If he were to draw the start he would enter DFS consideration. Lamar Stevens would also likely play a larger role for Cleveland off the bench.
