Chris Duarte (toe) out Friday; Lance Stephenson (ankle) and Goga Bitadze (foot) both available. Goga’s availability isn’t too impactful as he’s been in and out of the rotation lately. With Duarte out, Lance Stephenson and Duane Washington should have larger roles in the second unit.

Obi Toppin (hamstring) questionable on Friday. This isn’t too impactful for the slate but if he can’t suit up, Jericho Sims could see an expanded role in the second unit. A mid-day downgrade is never a good sign so monitor the news.

Dennis Schroder (ankle) not expected to play on Friday. This was as expected with Nix recalled last night. With Schroder out, we should see larger role for the other guards like Eric Gordon, Jalen Green and Kevin Porter Jr.

John Collins (foot) questionable on Friday; Onyeka Okongwu (concussion) remains out. This is the first time in awhile Collins has been not doubtful, so it’s at least a step in the right direction for him. If he can’t suit up, Danilo Gallinari will continue to start. With Onyeka Okongwu still out, Gorgui Dieng will operate as the backup center.

Frank Jackson (back) questionable on Friday; Marvin Bagley (ankle) not on injury report. With Bagley expected back, this will hurt Kelly Olynyk in the second unit and might kick Isaiah Livers out of the rotation unless they continue to want to give him a look. If Jackson can’t suit up, that’ll allow Rodney McGruder to continue getting minutes.

Fred VanVleet (knee) and DJ Wilson (knee) out on Friday; Thaddeus Young (illness) questionable. With VanVleet out, that should allow Malachi Flynn to continue to start. Gary Trent Jr. has also seen a +4% usage bump this season with VanVleet out. If Thad Young can’t go, that’ll be good news for Precious Achiuwa and Chris Boucher in the second unit.

Tobias Harris (illness) questionable on Friday; DeAndre Jordan (not with team) ruled out. If Harris can’t suit up, more usage will flow to James Harden and Joel Embiid. Jordan’s status isn’t too impactful but it likely means Paul Millsap will remain in the rotation. Jordan is expected to be available tomorrow night.

Wendell Carter (illness) questionable on Friday; Markelle Fultz (knee) listed out. If Carter can’t go, Chuma Okeke would likely spot start and be a viable option in GPPs. Fultz being out should give Gary Harris a little more responsibility in the second unit.
As reported by: NBA Injury Report Other tagged players: Markelle FultzAvery Bradley (knee) and Talen Horton-Tucker (ankle) active Thursday
Avery Bradley (knee) and Talen Horton-Tucker (ankle) will both be active Thursday against the Los Angeles Clippers. Bradley was listed as questionable and will be set to make his return off the bench tonight, while THT was listed as probable and should see close to his usual bench minutes. Bradley will likely be eased back into his role after dealing with a knee injury suffered before the all-star break. Until Bradley has a more defined role he does not need to be considered in DFS contests.

Lineup Update: Lakers will start Westbrook, Monk, Reaves, James, Howard on Thursday. As expected, despite being listed as questionable on the injury report coming into the game LeBron James will be available and start for the Lakers. He remains a good spend up option and can break any slate he is on. Dwight Howard will return to the starting lineup and will likely see increased run. Howard can be considered as a value option but has a large range of outcomes, even when in the starting lineup. Austin Reaves will remain in the starting lineup, casting doubt on Avery Bradley’s return tonight (still considered questionable).

Richaun Holmes (back) has been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs. With Holmes once again out, Damian Jones will back up Domantas Sabonis at the center position with Alex Len also available if necessary. Jones is not worth DFS consideration at this time.
