Aaron Gordon (hamstring) ruled out Friday; DeMarcus Cousins available to play
Aaron Gordon (hamstring) has been ruled out Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans, while DeMarcus Cousins is available to play. With Gordon out, Austin Rivers could once again take his place in the starting lineup with Bones Hyland, Bryn Forbes, and Davon Reed set to see more minutes off the bench. Cousins should backup Jokic at center.

Larry Nance Jr. (knee) has been ruled out Friday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, while CJ Elleby and Trendon Watford will be available. In the wake of the trade Portland made earlier in the day with the Los Angeles Clippers the Trail Blazers starting lineup is set to shift. Both Tony Snell and Ben McLemore seem likely to enter the starting lineup with CJ Elleby also another candidate. All three players mentioned should play a much larger role for Portland especially with Nance Jr. ruled out as well. Elleby and McLemore enter DFS consideration as value options.

Josh Hart (knee) has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Denver Nuggets. With Hart out, Brandon Ingram and Jonas Valanciunas should handle even more of the offensive load with Gary Clark, Trey Murphy, and Naji Marshall picking up some more bench minutes. Ingram becomes a stronger DFS play.

Udoka Azubuike will start on Friday against the Brooklyn Nets with Hassan Whiteside set to come off bench. Whiteside is making his return after missing last game with a back injury. This will likely be to help limit Whiteside’s minutes and reward Azubuike for playing well in his absence. Ultimately, this will limit the upside of each player and neither is worthy of consideration in DFS contests at this time.

Jordan Clarkson (knee) has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets, while Hassan Whiteside (back) will be available to play. With Clarkson ruled out Trent Forrest and Jared Butler should play larger roles off the bench for the Jazz. They still remain outside of DFS consideration as they both do not project well enough on this large of a slate with other value options available.
