LeBron James (knee) ruled out Thursday; Anthony Davis (wrist) will play

As expected, LeBron James (knee) has been ruled out Thursday, while Anthony Davis (wrist) will play against the Los Angeles Clippers. AD and Russell Westbrook should continue to lead the Lakers offense and see their FPM balloon up to 1.3 while Lebron is off the court. Both can be considered in most formats for tonight’s slate.

Lineup Update: Clippers will start Jackson, Coffey, Morris, Batum, Ibaka on Thursday. Batum will enter the starting lineup for the Clippers sending Terance Mann to the bench. Ultimately, this will likely only result in Batum playing a couple more minutes and Mann seeing a couple less.

Ivica Zubac (calf) ruled out Thursday

Ivica Zubac (calf) has been ruled out for Thursday’s matchup against the Los Angeles lakers. With Zubac out, Serge Ibaka is set to make his second straight start with Isaiah Hartenstein available to play the backup center minutes off the bench. It is also likely that Brandon Boston remains in the rotation for the Clippers. Last game the center minutes were split with Ibaka seeing 22 and Hartenstein playing 14 and the Clippers electing to go small the rest of the way. Ibaka can be considered in most formats as a value option.

Pistons will start Joseph, McGruder, Bey, Grant and Stewart on Thursday. We had expected Hamidou Diallo to start for Cade Cunningham but instead it will be Rodney McGruder. We’re going to treat McGruder as a starter with minutes in the mid-20s as the Pistons have a variety of ways to go off the bench to fill his backup minutes.
