Willy Hernangomez could once again draw the start with Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Devonte Graham (probable) likely to see more usage. Hernangomez will remain a good play as long as he is in the starting lineup for the Pelicans.

Jaylen Nowell (back) and Jarred Vanderbilt (foot) will both be available and start Friday against the Phoenix Suns. Nowell will make his first career start with both D’Angelo Russell and Patrick Beverley ruled out earlier in the day. Nowell will enter value play consideration at just 4K on DK with a large workload expected for him. Vanderbilt should see his normal run as a starter but could see a few more opportunities with the Timberwolves down a couple starters.

Robert Covington (knee) and Dennis Smith Jr. (ankle) will be available to play Friday against the Houston Rockets, while CJ Elleby (leg) has been ruled out. Covington should draw the start and see his normal run for Portland, though he is currently not a viable option in DFS contests at his price (5.5K on DK). Smith Jr. should return to his backup point guard role and the minutes that go along with that, he is also not a candidate for consideration in DFS contests. With Elleby ruled out, his bench minutes should be spread amongst the other bench guards though this should not be of note for DFS players.

This was expected after we were told he was “probably” going to play today so after four missed games Sabonis will make his return. Sabonis might not be ready to see his full workload but he should still play a large part in the Indiana offense tonight.

D’Angelo Russell (shin) and Patrick Beverley (ankle) have both been ruled out for Friday’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns. Russell’s absence should lead to Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards carrying even more of the offense than they are accustomed to, strengthening their value. The absence of Beverley could lead to Jaylen Nowell entering the starting lineup and playing the point for the first unit, Malik Beasley could also be tasked with seeing some increased run.

As long as Hart is able to see his full run he is worthy of consideration in most DFS formats.
